The worst guru is Himesh, hands down. Here why:
1. He doesn't treat his students equally. Case in point, Vineet, Mussarat, Aneek. Between C2005 & C2007, he has had 16 students. Howevee, he only treats his favorites well, others are like step-children to him.
2. He sacrificed his own student, who is a good singer - in order to keep Mauli in the contest.
3. He doesn't let his students explore and broaden their experience. Instead he makes them narrower.
4. He instigates and promotes unnecessary hype / naatak / nakhraa / tamashaa etc. etc. "Vineet ko pyaar ho gaya hai", "Aneek ko pyaar ho gaya hai".
5. He almost never shows any emotion / appreciation when other gharana students are singing. But overdoes it when his students are singing! His flying kisses, the wah-wah that are reserved for Aneek are really getting boring.
