Next day, after breakfast Rey decided to take Taani to doctor he has even cancelled all the morning appointments, she has worn a simple salwar suit, yet she was looking pretty.

On the Way:

Rey was driving, she was in the passenger sit, but she was super quiet, he immediately understood her nervousness. He kept his palms on her which was lying on her lap. She looked at him and her pale face caught his attention. Though there were no tears in her eyes but by looking at those ocean deep orbs he could tell they were sad, worried and nervous. He pressed her palms and rubbed the back of her palm by his thumb.

Immediately she felt a different feeling in her heart as if her tension and nervousness eased and she felt relaxed. It's not that she doesn't understand his emotions, she do and after yesterday night she is an open book in front of him. She has expressed and shared her life, there is no hidden truth. Last night she really wanted to be near him because she was feeling lonely and broken but with possessiveness when he touched her without asking her or taking permission before applying the ointment she could feel his claim of right over her.

The car was standing in the signal she jerked from her thoughts and heard her voice:

R-Nervous ho?

T-Hmnn thora sa woh doctor

R- Don't worry we are going to a lady doctor

T-nahii mera matlab she will ask na how I got this wound.. mai kya bolu

(Looking at her straight holding her right hand tightly in his left grip)

R-Bharosa hai mujh par? Do you trust me?

And immediately he heard " apnae aap sae jyada ," he knew she trusted him but will get such a spontaneous answer he didn't expect, he knew she trust him with her heart and soul she has proved it before also but now slowly she started voicing out and it made Rey feel good, it made him feel loved and wanted and it increased his urge more to always protect her, take care of her and love her till the end of his life, he was looking straight in her eyes lost in his thoughts, rather both were pulled in an eye lock staring at each other. Those two pairs held trust and love for each other both were lost and it broke only when the cars from the back were honking, both looked away feeling a bit awkward and stealing glances Rey was driving and while driving he said " Jab etna trust karti ho, leave it to me I will handle".

In the doctor's chamber:

Dr- Good morning Mr Singhania have a seat.

R-Good Morning Doctor.

Dr-Boliya kya problem hai? Aapnae kal raat ko hie early morning appointment ke liya ph kiya tha, Is something serious?

R-Doctor actually problem mujhae nahi, it's she who needs treatment. Doctor near about 3 to 4 months ago she had got hurt in her lower back muscle while construction work was going on in the house actually she fell down and an iron rod fell on her, I was not there at that time and in the beginning she too ignored and then when she said we thought mamuli choot hai thik ho jayga as it is. Taani nai baad mai jyada pain feel bhi nahi kiya normal hot water bag and ointments she was using, but from the last 2 days the pain has increased and yesterday when I checked doctor it had swollen up and the skin colour has changed to pinkish blue Even the pain is severe. ( he was holding her hand to assure her his presence )

Dr-Mr.Singhnia I need to check her. Come with me Mrs Singhania.

(Hearing Mrs. Singhania she immediately looked at him, but he squeezed her hand and his one look said her to be quiet, she was having mixed emotions, and when Dr called her once again she nodded her head and went inside with her. After few minutes the nurse called Rey and asked him to come inside)

Dr-Mr Singhania, I guess your wife is bit of sigh nature, (The Dr Laughed) I have checked her already but I need to do a MRI of the area she needs to be given an injection before that and she needs to cooperate but she is quiet nervous her blood pressure is high the whole procedure will take 30 mins I suggest and it's better you stay with her and for that you need to keep any kind of metal you are having watch, rings or mobile outside in the reception as MRI room is a magnetic prone area you both get ready then nurse will both of you.

Saying the Dr went away and as soon as Rey turned he saw tears in her eyes she immediately hugged him he cocooned her in his arms "Kya hua jaan ro kiu rahii ho?" "

T-Mujhae daar lag raha hai

R-Kuch nahi hoga mai hu na.

T-aap raho gae na mere saath, chor ke nahii jayogae na? MRI kya hai?

R- Pagal I will be there and tumhae bhi thik hona hai na, and MRI mai koi daard nahi hota, bas injection mai thora sa dard hoga.

Later after the MRI and seeing the plates Dr suggested medicine and treatment. He said they will get the reports after 3 days but nothing that serious is there she has seen in the screen. The marks are of heavy blood clotting and it needs proper care regularly and thought it's internally not so serious still the pan will be there for few days and she needs to follow certain instructions.

Dr suggested that she should be given a warm water massage by a soft sponge every night putting a certain medicine in it and then the ointment should be applied as well usual edible medicines was given and a strict no carrying weights. Even the Dr smilingly hinted them to be careful during physical... And the immediate reaction was there was no difference between Taani's dark pink Salwar suit and her cheeks, she was nervous and was blushing furiously. Dr teased them "Lagta hai aap dono ki nayi nayi shaddi hai, and Mr.Singhania aap ki wife aap ko bohot payyar karti hai, jaysahi aap andar ayaa slowly her pressure got normal' Rey smiled genuinely even the thought of Taani being Mrs Singhania was giving shivers in his spine and for Taani it was nothing different only that she was blushing profusely and the more she blushed the more he felt connected with her, and the dream of a beautiful future was taking shape deep down in both the hearts.

After a hell lot of blushing Rey made her day more beautiful and exciting, he took her to college where she will be admitted. She was feeling nervous seeing the way the students dressed but Rey boosted her confidence and also said her expert bhabhi is an expert in grooming her for the environment. They had a nice lunch in an open air restaurant. He took her too shopping though she didn't buy much but Rey bought few cotton night wares with a zip in the back, she was feeling shy but then she knew his intentions was not wrong neither he can ever be wrong for her. She liked a shirt in the men's section, Rey caught her attention and when made an enquiry he found out that she liked it for him. Rey felt her love and care the thought she is shopping for him, selecting outfits for him, she Mrs Taani Reyansh Singhania, the thought itself send shiver down his spine, He was getting impatient day by day, now all he wanted was to make her his, claim her as his in front of the whole world. Even her test was impressive it was a light lemon yellow shirt. They enjoyed a lot even he took her to beach in the evening, there she enjoyed a lot, first time she was seeing ocean from so near she wanted to enjoy but Rey stopped her as the pain may increase he also promised her that when she recovers he will bring her here. Late evening both watched the sunset together, hand in hand walking bare footed in the wet and dry sand.

Taani's POV: She was holding a small photo frame with Rey's photograph (when he was really young of the age of 13-14, she was caressing the pic)

Jab bhi unhae daktii hu, I feel I have seen no one as perfect gentleman as him. I admire him, I trust him, and kal ke baad I know he will be ready to take care of me throughout his life. Knowing I am a widow his feelings never changed, knowing I was almost being subjected to molestation he is same as before. It was not that I didn't want to share it with him but I had a feeling that at least after knowing the last piece of truth of my past which I have not shared with anyone he will at least now be affected and may distant himself. Mujhae daar lagta tha kahi woh mujhae apnae aap sae duur na kardae, I can't see hatred in his eyes for me, nahi bardast kar paungie unsae duur jana , jindagie mai agar kuch sahi hua hai, it's bhai coming in my life, because of bhai I met him and my life changed. Yesterday when he pulled me in his arms I felt it so right, ak baar bhi nahi laga kuch galat hai, and when he placed his lips on my shoulders and arms ( she touched her own arms rubbing them and smiling at the pic) I felt relaxed, he staying near to me make me feel protected and wanted. I know he loves me, unka mujhae red colour dress mai daknae ki cahatt, unka kahena ki I mean everything to him, (looking at him) I know aap nae kabhi apna payaar Jahir nahi kiya, just because you don't want to make me uncomfortable, but I know aap mujsae bohot payyar karate ho. If you wanted you could have protested and cleared Doctor that I am not your wife, but apnae kuch nahi kaha, kitni baar Dr ne mujhae aap ke wife kahae kar address kiya but aap chup rahae. Dr nai tease nhi kiya mujhae kitni shy feel ho raha tha, but I know aap bohot enjoy kar rahae thae. (Thinking a bit) But mainae kuch kiu nahi kaha? Kiu nahi kaha ki I am not his wife, iska matlab Am I ready? Ready for what? Aap ki wife? (Smiling)

Ha I am ready, bohot payaar karti hu aap sae, aap sae aur duur nahi rehena, but ha mai aab aap ko kuch bhi nahi kahungie. I know aap mujhae bohot payaar karate ho and you have already accepted me with my past, but jab taak mai puri taraha sae apnae past ki shadow sae bahar nahi atii I will not confess to you. Before I confess I want to be sure that my past will never come between us I want to fulfil all your wishes regarding me. Kal jab apnae red pehen ne ke liya kaha, fir mere action sae aap ka hurt hona, fir woh saraae moments, aap ke saath party mai jana, fir kaal raat job hi hua, nothing is hidden from you kal raat before I slept snuggling in your arms I felt it was the best day of my life and today after spending the whole day, specially in the beach walking holding your hands I feel today is the best day of my life , actually I realized aap ke saath har din bohot special hota hai, aap khud bohot special ho ..aur jab bhi mai sad hoti hu yeah disturbed feel kartti hu aap ka "JAAN" kehena ... I love you.. Rey I Love You.

Kaka went to out-house. She was in her dream land when Rey entered, to ask her to serve dinner and hearing his voice she immediately had hidden the photo (But did Rey see it?) She smiled at him and went downstairs towards the kitchen making sure Rey comes out immediately with her so her little self-talk with his photo remains undiscovered.

They were peacefully eating their dinner, chitchatting mostly about her upcoming college and about Sharon and Swayam. When suddenly Rey asked her

R-Taani, tumhae birthday mai mainae jo phone gift kiya you are using it na?

T-Ha, more or less I can use it, bas kuch softwares siknae mai abhi bhi problem hai?

R-Hmnn (nodding his head and looking at his food) woh selfie and songs, pics exchange karna (before he could end)

T-Ha..ha.. bhabhi ne mujhae Bluetooth, and ghar pe Wi-Fi modes saab sikha diya hai. Bhabhi ne kaha hai, Bangalore sae lautnae ke baad jab bhai mera bank account bana dega, she will teach me shopping too.

R-(with a sigh) Haa...tumharie bha..bhii (stretching the word bhabhi) Ko dono hie kaam achaae tarha sae ataa hai, ak shopping karna and dusra bank accounts empty karna.. pehele sirf mera account khali kiya karta tha aab Swayam bhi included hai.

Both laughed together and when the dinner was finished and just before getting up he smirked and said waisae, agar mujhae bata detii then ... (Taking a pause) ...wi-fi/ Blue tooth ka proper use ho sakta tha...(she looked at him confused he gave his killer heart-warming smile) I mean proper photos send kar deta.. battae karnae ke liya ...My childhood pics are not good option I guess.

He got up and went away smirking, her cheeks turned bright red and heated up, today's date may be marked as the blushing day of her entire life... she had never thought Rey had seen her this small act. It was not today the first time, it was since months when Sharon gave her this room she has shifted all things but forgot a small photo frame containing his childhood photo and this particular frame has become Taani's precious treasure. She was blushing hard but thanks Rey went away. Later on when she was putting the left over in the refrigerator, her phone buzzed and immediately the icon showed mail received and as soon as she opened it was a folder showing a bunch of Rey's pics. Her lips curved into a bright smile and staring at the pics she said "aap bohot... Aap na bohot... (She was struggling to frame a proper word and getting irritated she said) jayo mai aap sae baat nahi kartii... (Again looking at the pic she pouted) I love you... bohot payaar karti hu aap sae... (caressing one of his photo) aap bohot achaee ho'.

At night Rey called Taani in his room, she knew why she was called she brought a big pan containing hot water, seeing her like that, he immediately took it from his hand and scolded her.

R-Kisne kaha eye saab karnae ke liya? Aur suna nahi Doctor nae strictly kaha tha not to carry heavy weights, it will pressurize the back muscles and what you did carried the warm water pan from downstairs crossing the stairs ... tum kisi ki suno tab na

T-Mai garam panii layii kiu ki aap abhi...

R-ha so for warm water massage? Gizzard mai panni nahi milega?

T-W..o..h... Sorry...

R- Agar aysa karogie then I will let know Swayam everything. Already I am not liking the idea to hide from Swayam, but just because you want I am doing it, but agar firsae koi bhi carelessness dikhayiii...

T-Bola na sorry

(crying she was about to go but then she stopped hearing his voice, she can never oppose him, she brought the water because he would give her the massage she just wanted to help him but he scolding and telling he will tell her secret to Swayam have hurt her, on the other hand he knew that her intensions was not wrong, he loves her, already she had went through a lot of physical and mental pain and her carelessness he couldn't tolerate because he can't see her in pain and as it was an old wound, blood clotting was there it needed care and she needs to follow all instructions and he knew how careless she is regarding herself. He understood his scolding has made her sad, it is the first time he scolded her, he really felt bad, because after the beautiful tears can never be the option he would like to see in her eyes )

R-Taani stop!! (He came near her and holding her arms turned her) Sorry...

T- It's Ok..

R-Nahi kuch Oik nahii hai, (rubbing her tears with his thumb) agar Ok hota then what are these? (Showing her own tear droplets) Tum jantti ho na Dr ne kaya kaha. Agar lana hie tha you could have called me (she was looking down) Kya hua baat nahi karogie? Kaha na I will not scold you again.

T- (Still looking down) Aap mujsae barae ho, you can always scold me but aapnae kiu kaha ki bhai ko... You have promised me.....

R-(Holding her face in his palms and making her look in his eyes) I know I have promised you and I will never break that, actually... Sorry gussae mai nikal gaya muah sae

T-(resting her palms on his and with teary eyes) Aap kabhi hum dono ki secrets kisi ko nahii batayangae... I was sad for that, and aap ko pura haq hai mujhae daatnae ka yeah kuch bhi bolna ka.

Rey pulled her in his arms, she rested her head on his chest and then pressing his lips on her hair he once again said "haq hai na mujhae kuch bhi kahanae ka?" She nodded her head in approval then "so maaf kardiya na mujhae? (She nodded her head, he departed her from the hug and holding her arms) really mujhae shout nahi karna cahiya tha tumpae chalo now get ready I will give you the massage"

He dimmed the light, not to make her uncomfortable and made her rest on the bed on her back. He slowly unzipped her night ware, and pulled it down a little more than yesterday. He could see her in her inners, but he restricted his thought and dipping the sponge in the warm water kept on her wounds, she shrieked in pain, he was careful but then he knew he had to, "Jaan I know it will hurt, please try to bare it" he kept on massaging his back, and whenever she felt pain he stopped and caressed it with fingers slowly to sooth her pain and once again he massaged. After doing it for a long 30 minutes as directed by doctor, he applied the ointment on it and zipped up her dress. And ultimately placed a soft kiss on the swollen back. Then sitting beside her he switched on the light, "Janta hu bohot dard hua, but thora sahana paraga, now have your medicine and sleep, Sleep here only.

She was taking the medicine and the doorbell ranged, she looked at him " Tum apna medicine lo, I will check etnae raat ko its 12.10...I am coming..."

He opened the door only to see a worried Swayam and Sharon standing at the entrance. Swayam's eyes were blood shot red, his look said that he was broken, frustrated and as soon as he enquired he hugged him tight, Rey held him and brought him inside, Sharon closed the door. And then when Rey enquired Swayam broke down saying " Rey mai ak responsible bhai nahi bann sakka, kho diya mainae aapni behen ko Taani ko," Rey couldn't understand anything and then what he heard was unbelievable the moment he heard as if someone snatched mother earth from under his feet... he felt his existence his life shattered when heard "they are coming Rey.. They are coming.. The man who gave me birth, his brother and... And Taani's biological father they are coming..." saying so he collapsed but then before he could register they hard a thud sound and when they turned they saw Taani sitting on the stairs... a lifeless soul ... a broken doll.

Sharon ran to her and engulfed her in her arms, made her stand and supported her to the couch before Swayam, seeing her Swayam hugged her in his arms, she was lifeless holding her lifeless body he said " Bacchi tu tension maat le, tera bhai kuch bhi karage but tujhae narak mai wapas nahi bhejega, apnae bhai ko maaf kar de sayad mai hie tere liya galat hu, I belong to that house where ... Kuch nahi hona dunga tujhae."

(she was in his arms staring blankly, her eyes were fixed on his. )

Rey couldn't register anything and he could understand her condition, he knew it's only he who can cool her nerves give her assurance but he was helpless and then he knew first thing he had to do was to find out what was the exact matter. He signalled Sharon and she took her and made her sit on the couch, Rey himself sat beside Swayam , he was totally shattered and as a result Sharon choose to talk.

Sh-Bhaiyu Bangalore Janae ke baad we got the awesome news that the venture which we wanted to launch in Paris was settled and we clicked the deal with the representatives. We did not tell you because we wanted to surprise you as within two months we need to be there. But in that case Taani will be alone so Swayam called our agent and we mailed Taani's details for her passport in TATKAL basis. We thought with the tickets we will surprise you both. But except Taani's birth certificate and School details we didn't had anything and it totally slipped from our mind that there will be police verification.

Last evening Swayam's father called him and informed that they are coming tomorrow to take her away. When police verification was done they got our details of Mumbai address and her father has launched a complain that we have kept her away from her family and her in-laws in an illegal way, and to scandalize more they have complained Swayam's involvement and both of theirs illegal relationship. First we couldn't register then when we called agent we came to know that because she has no Voter-Id-Card and Pan-Card everything was messed and now we may have to even appear in court, we can fight if we can prove the torture and illegality of the marriage we may win but before that Taani has to go back if not to her in-laws but to her original biological parents.

Sw- And tum logo ko lagta hai, it will make any difference? Ak baar Taani ko wapas bhejne ke baad hum sayad kitni court case larae but the fact is practically we can never bring her back.Tum nahi janti wohlog kitnae khatarnak hai.

Rey was dialling a no, all was bit shocked and when the call got connected.

R-Hello, uncle Reyansh here, uncle there is an emergency I know it's too late but all I want can you come to my house, agar etna emergency nahi hota I would have never called you at such hours, but it's a case of life and death. (keeping the phone down) Chotti kaka ko out house sae bula, and Swayam tu and chotti ja ke change karlae... Swayam go!! You can't break down Swayam you can't even afford to do that, Taani ki tarafh dekh, she her condition tu aysa nahii kar sakta, be strong and sending Taani to that hell can never be a option. We will sort out, Mainae lawyer uncle ko bulaya hai, papa ke bohot achaee friend thae we will sort out something.

Swayam went away looking at her broken sister he felt like killing himself, he couldn't even console her, and when he went Rey saw Sharon going to call Kaka, he stopped her, " Rehene dee chotti uncle atahie hongae you go and change, fresh ho ja, journey bhi lamba tha,.. I will go and call, Taani tum bhi chalo mere sath"

And pulled her hand Sharon knew Taani was lost and broken she also knew it's only her brother who could handle her and moreover she has grown up in the guidance of her brother and she knew strongly her brother can go to any level to protect the ones he loved and at time how tough and rowdy he can become. This side of him only she knew and somewhere feeling that protection in his guidance she felt proud of her bhiayu. Sharon went away Rey pulled her forcefully and took her out in the garden and the moment they were out Taani broke down, she was crying pathetically, Rey knew he had to control her but what about him, he was no less broken, he can't even imagine to let her go away from him, and that too to that bloody family where men tried to molest her, his fist clenched in anger he knew he will find out a solution but before that he need to handle her and that's the reason he brought her out.

She was sitting in the ground and crying hard she kept on mumbling, he sat on his knees she was not even ready to look at him, he forcefully made her look at him, and she looked up with red shot teary eyes. He pulled her in his arms and before thinking twice he kept his lips on hers, she couldn't register she clutched him hard and tight as if the moment she loosens her hold someone will snatch him away, he held him near his heart and just kept his lips on her, he didn't initiate a kiss, neither he wanted to all he wanted to stop her sobs, what better than his warmth? When after a long time her sobs declined he slowly departed her from him and kissed her tears and paced a long wet kiss on her forehead and then looking straight at her eyes holding her face in his palms he said, "Chup ho jayo bilkul chup, I know you trust me, and just hold on your trust, aj jobhi mai kaha raha hu, suno, listen carefully Tum mere ho, you belong to me, and only me, kuch bhi ho jaya kisi mai himmat nahi hai tumhae mujsae duur le jaya, jobhi hoga I will not late you go, just be my strength, tumharii tears mujhae weak kar deta hai, Taani it's not the time to cry, it's time to find a solution and if you cry like this what will I do Jaan, how will I concentrate? Just remember lifelong you will stay with me being mine." She clutched him more all she could say "Promise " he smiled he knew her innocence and that was a plus point, because she trust her with her innocence, she never tries to find a logic of his words she depends on her blindfoldedly and that makes it easy to make her understand anything, she was staring at him innocence and longing brimming her eyes, he composed himself cause what he made her undrstand was practically not so easy but before arrival of lawyer she needs to be strong aj subha tumnae garie mai kaha tha, that tum apnae aap sae jyada mujh paar trust kartti ho Right"? She nodded he made her stand and then both walked to call kaka. Swayam standing in the balcony saw the scene and all he said to himself was "thank you Rey and yes we need to concentrate".
