Well, a few days back I had seen someone wanted to open an AT for Junior Thakurs...today I thought after watching the episodes, that the show has to go a long way before the three boys come together to face off against the enemy...as three of the boys are being plagued by their respective issues...so I thought over it and here is the conclusion I came to about the three boys.
Mithilesh Thakur ~ his problem ~ APPRECIATION
Lets begin with the eldest Thakur. MT, from the very beginning has always wore the pride of being a Thakur and the King-to-be like a medal on his chest. He from the age of 18 has stuck with his father to learn all the traits and tricks of running their business and also be the King. He always was confident that he is the oldest, so he will be the King, so much was his confidence, and to match that confidence, he carried that attitude as well.
But, after his tiff with Lakhan , things went a bit downhill from there. Uska confidence hil gaya tha after the incident, and of course uska impression jo usne banaya tha, wo bhi thoda down ho gaya. Infact, usse itni takleef huyi thi, that he also used to get jealous when Phoolan Thakur used to appreciate Priyom before him. Yahaan tak ki jab Phoolan Thakur stopped him on various occasions from getting violent, or make any hasty decisions, his insecurities began to creep up to the fore.
He was insecure that he is losing his thaska on his family as the eldest born, as the older brother and as to-be-King. And after PT declared the King, uska saara hopes crash ho gaya..Infact I feel his anger is completely justified, cause I in no way feel that Priyom is ready to be the King, in any aspect.
He does not have any experience, and till now has not proven himself. Mithilesh's problem is the lack of appreciation on the part of his family to his contributions to his family, that now he frankly does not care to do anything for anyone. He is disappointed as his family has let him down.
Lakhan Thakur - his problem ~ LOYALTY
Kehte hai ke hum logo se wahi expect karte hai, jo hum khud karte hai. Lakhan has been extremely loyal to his family, a quality which he has inherited from his father, Bhushan, but thankfully he is not as compliant as him. Loyalty is a quality that Lakhan appreciates a lot, be it in friendship, family, work or love.
Therefore I understand his issues. He feels that his family has neglected him and not really understood his potential as an individual. He has tried really hard, to show his family that he is as good as Mithilesh, but his family not just failed to understand him as an individual, but also did not bother to address his extreme temper issues. So I completely understand that.
As far as friendship goes, Priyom was Lakhan's lifeline, he loved him so much. But when he needed him, he was busy playing kanhaiya in Patna, and pacifying Poonam. Friend to dono hai uske, but frankly Priyom has not really done anything for Lakhan. Daru aur thappad baatna friendship nahi hoti, friendship wo hoti hai, jahan friend apna dil halka kar sake, apni baatein bata sake.
But Priyom never really tried to understand Lakhan, had he been a good friend. He was always good friend of Poonam more than Lakhan. And therefore he is extremely annoyed with Priyom. Uska itna anger ye bhi dikhata hai, how much Priyom meant to him.
Jab Priyom aur family samajh nahi paayi , to I don't really blame Poonam. Wo to Manchita ki beti hai..wo khud itna violent hai..to she is quite subdued..and Lakhan himself itna gusse me rehte hai, that she never got a chance..and with Priyom hanging out with her so often, she did not even feel the need to look at Lakhan...But now since Poonam is married to Lakhan, she is exploring and understanding various facets of Lakhan's personality...
Loyalty is something that Poonam has inherited from her father, who is fiercely loyal to PT, so I am sure wo Lakhan ko kabhi nahi chodegi...and Lakhan understands loyalty really well, cause in spite of not really having faith in Poonam, he has placed a lot of faith on her brother, Dolt, cause he has earned it...Therefore Poonam too has to earn his loyalty, and once she manages to do that, Lakhan himself will never allow anything or anyone to hurt her or separate both of them...
Priyom Thakur ~ his problem ~ COMPLACENCY
Well, frankly speaking, I never really found him 'King' material, but he always possessed the generosity and heart of a King..lekin raajpat dil se thode hi na chale hai...Rajpaat chalane ke liye teen cheezo ki necessity hai ~ heart, body and mind.
Majority of Priyom's decisions are governed by his heart. His heart broke once, and therefore he shunned commitment, but that did not stop him from keeping his heart on his hand and waste his time with 76 women.
Surprisingly, this thought process never worked with the women of his family, as he loved, protected and cherished them, respecting them a lot. He is naughty, a complete prankster with a big heart. One incident, where he stopped a fight between his older brothers, his father thought that he deserved to be King...How is one incident enough to judge who deserves to be the King???
Having presence of mind, big heart are the only qualifications to be a good King..that I am unable to understand. PT, himself worked hard, and did the most heinous things to become the King..Knowing what it takes to be a King, how could he give such a powerful and responsible role to Priyom, who is the most irresponsible person I have seen.
Jisko kabhi koi responsibility di nahi, hamesha pamper karke rakha..usse King bana diya..arre agar pehle se sikhaya hota ye sab, to atleast wo samajh pata the seriousness of his role..And now look what has happened..He has brought the enemy as his wife..who put his father in jail and is torturing his family members, and he is busy drinking himself to death...
PT is a good King...I agree, but his decision-making when it comes to family, has been really bad..and this has disrupted the entire family equation..I don't say he is entirely responsible for it, the junior Thakurs are also responsible, but his negligence in dealing with the situation properly, has led to this mess...
And as I said, Raajpat teen cheezo se chale hai ~ Dil, Dimaag aur Taakat..if Priyom is the dil, then Mithilesh is the dimaag and Lakhan is the taakat. So, it is very necessary for them to understand that a King is not a person or a title. Its an entity, which carries not just power, but responsibility as well.
Forget not, Phoolan Thakur has ruled as the King, only because he had Bhushan as his mantri and Manchita as his Senapati. But seems like Badi and Choti Amma have forgotten the story they had narrated to their grandchildren.
