Now that the show has been completely ruined there is nothing left but to sit back and analyse what went wrong and the ways to mend it.
The show already had a queue of unexposed villains/vamps and the new members to join the queue are Sumitra and her gang of girls.
Lets analyse some of the characters
Sneha - She is an educated abla naari' who can give bhaashans on sanskar and parvarish and do nothing else. I am still clueless on her decision to settle in Banaras, never seen her to be concerned about bread and butter for the family. Uniting with her father is okay but why merge into the family, where goes her self respect as Mathur.
Rachita - Yet another lady with high hopes from life but no ambitions. Never seen her step up to support the family.
Gajanand Chaubey - A mysterious character indeed with his fame and pride taking the top position. A typical person and his usool' standing against women empowerment. Here are a few questions for him.
- What made you forgive Sneha? How does it make a difference that your daughter fled with Dev Agnihotri and not Rishi Mathur? Or are your usool' and maan samman' flexible enough to accept the difference?
- Why did you choose to marry Rachita off to Rama when you knew that her kidnapping and the photographs were a deliberate attempt to defame the family? What made you choose not to report the matter to the police?
- What made you think that your begging off to Sumitra will give her the strength to keep the raaz' under wraps?
Dev Agnihotri - Nothing is known about him other than the fact that he ditched Sneha and that Rachita is his daughter. Now my question is if he himself had ditched Sneha, then what is the reason of his enmity with the Mathurs and Chaubeys. Big mystery indeed!
Amaya - She is only ray of hope. Though there is still nothing on the lines of main sab theek kar dungi', she has all the trump cards in her hand now.
- With the Mathur haveli in the name of Sumitra, only she can knock some senses into Rama's brain. That his mother is no devi, that she knew about his marriage to Amaya and gave her consent in the greed of the haveli.
- Rama is a good guy but not a perfect life partner for Rachita and it is in Amaya's hands to make him learn to see though things and take a strong stand for the right. I loved the confrontation on the wedding night.
- To every mother her son's happiness means the most and Sumitra has lost it all by getting Rama married to Amaya. She knows well that Amaya is not the right choice for Rama. Another plus point for Amaya.
- There is no harm in sharing the truth now with Sneha at least.
Now for the show to survive, the villains need to be exposed soon. Mantu has been just a showpiece so far and I so want him to be the key to all revelations and become Amaya's charioteer in the battle.
