You said that people in this forum are not like that, so why bring this issue here. If someone similar to members of the other forums puts a bad comment here then it might turn ugly.

I don't think Prashant Tamang was a "Nepali"....He was from Darjeeling,wasn't he???...And as far as my kowledge goes,Darjeeling is a part of India...Or did Prashant immigrate from Nepal???..

I agree,Indians are fairly liberal and welcoming,which explains why Amanat received 0.7 million votes from India...

If Amanat is unfairly judged,then it wouldn't be due to "racism"..Indians and Pakistanis belong to the same race...The discrimination can be attributed to chauvinistic patriotism( jingoism in other words)....

Amanat has a bright future,Vishal Shekhar have promised him an album,and Farah Khan has promised him a song in her next film..He'd go places,that boy will!!..Sod the jingoists who hate Pakistan,such people are nutters,completely twisted and insane imbeciles...Such people exist in Pakistan too who hate Indians!!...It's mad,all this hatred harboured by some...

No matter how much we try to avoid it, there will always be people who will remember to arouse the differences between Pakistan and India. And we'll have to accept it. They are two different nations, but the people are one. Or we can be if we choose to be one. But there will always be those so-called patriotics that believe their nation to be superior. Being a Pakistani, I truly admire the fact that people on this forum do an excellent job of being impartial, whether Pakistani or Indian. And I truly truly hope that the voting will be done with likewise impartiality. However, it is ridiculous to dream of such things because no matter how much we ignore it, things like "don't let a pakistani win" will be said. But I do think that Amanat is undoubtedly the true winner of the show. And I wish him and Raja and Aneek the best of luck in the future. All three are terrific singers and are giving each other great competition.

This post will be closed soon because it deals with religion/nationality but I will say that this matter is present, and no matter how hard we try to move further in the relationship between the two nations, there will always be a few people who will try to throw us back to the 1940s.

Forgetting those people, let us embrace the talent on the show with impartiality and complete appreciation of music. 😃

And to you I suggest that you ignore such ridiculous comments and enjoy the show.

Do we need to get into this .... ? Amanat is a personification of music and let that rest the case there.

By Talking abt such issues here is like you your self promoting these words...

in a pond all the flowers will not be lotus..some will be different too..so if you start seeing the other ones then you wont have time to see lotus and praise its beauty.

First i would like to say that this is a singing competition and so whoever the world's janta likes best, he will win.

but to all those who are being racist, helloooo, this is a world cup for the singers and it just happens to be that two of the guys are from india and the other is from pakistan. i mean although i am indian, not pakistani, i still am a huge amanat fan and i hope that he wins the competition. and anyways, all three of them are great singers; nationality/religion should be kept out the competition when the winner is chosen.
