How can Gayatri's dad not know something is wrong?

Rana's expression of distaste during the exchange of rings and straight afterwards he walks away, even the way he gripped her hand whilst putting the ring on her. Those should have gave away he is not in love with her and though he has consented for the marriage he is doing so reluctantly. The dad was so close watching, what did all of that show Gayatri's dad?

No smile on his face no enquiring how she is, no conversation from him to her at least whilst they find the ring, no sorry when he dropped the ring.

Ranaji had distaste written all over his face , anyone wid a pair of eyes would notice it

but of course its Hindi series , the obvious things are left unnoticed until they want to expose it . 🤔

He was soo close to em , there s no way , he could have missed that , maybe he thought that Ranaji doesnt show out his feelings or maybe he was busy watching his daughters s dream get fulfilled ( thts the only satisfying reasons that I can come up wid )

Biggest reason is it is a show. No one will notice or come to know till the right time comes 😆

On a serious note, yeah Bauji should have sensed the anger n discomfort on Ranaji's face. But what to say, he clearly missed to notice that.
Sadly he doesnt have many options too bcoz his wife would otherwise marry Gayatri to that buddha. So Ranaji is atleast better than him till he starts hating on Gayatri or make life difficult for her..

He is watching his daughters Happiness but one thing for sure when he will get know about this Devdas & Family's True intention ... he will not spare anyone ...

yes must be his watching only Gayu and he had consented to the old man to marry Gayu now a young person has offered and his also a prince or king also and she is in love with him also. But still very obvious signs of trouble but its all ignored because its a serial.

Gayatris father is happy just seeing Gayatri happy for him that is the biggest challenge he has faced with the family ready to get her married off to budda so he will not see Ranaji for him its his chutkariya

yes some things are there as this is a show

but he is really very relieve now that gayatri is so happy
