Totally rooting for Nahid

i have started watching this season of indian idol junior only for asha . but after that the talented contestants were also pulled me towards the show .

after seeing the performances , i am totally rooting for NAHID . she is absolutely phenomenal and has a really soothing and versatile voice . she seems to very simple and that beauty of simplicity just reflects in her performance . earlier i thought that she just suits for only soft romantic numbers , but dude she broke that myth . what a powerhouse of performance she is .👏

the other finalist are also fine no doubt . just there are certain things which i personally didn't liked about their singing . like vaishnav is really good , but he still needs to have that masculinity in his voice , nityashree is trained but sometimes i feel she is just over hyped . ananya is also great but she puts so much of force in the song that it simply is a pain sometimes . these are just my POV . i feel that all these kids are extremely talented and wishing the best for him.

if the judges and sony goes by fair route then there is 100% chance that NAHID can win this show.

p.s - she was just OUTSTANDING in "zara si" song ⭐️ . no wonder she got the open offer for the movie akira. NAHID ALL THE WAY . ALL THE BEST👍🏼

My instinct says that she will win.. She looks to be really enjoying her performances and has a very soothing voice that is consistent throughout a performance even when she takes harkats..

When the show started, the judges had commented that she looks nervous and now that has reversed, with her looking the most comfortable and Nithyashree looking very tense.. And this does reflect in the voice and body language.. I really don't know what happened..

Ananya has stepped up her game but somehow I prefer Nahid, maybe because I look up to check during her performance only when she takes those fantastic high ranges with the alaap built in, at other times, she is not that great IMO..

Somehow I feel that Vaishnav and Nithya did not gain as much during this process as the other two did..

I'm rooting for Nahid as well along with Ananya. The most promising contestants I feel. It's surprising how my favorites changed from the start to the end. I was blown away by Nityashree's Zara Zara but after a few songs,found her to be quite disappointing(except the classical bits in between the songs). I also don't buy the 'she doesn't know hindi' thing.I've lived in South India half of my life,there's no way anyone staying in a metro can not have exposure to hindi songs...Not knowing hindi songs and not knowing how to speak in hindiare two different things and both Nityashree and Anjana from IIJ SE01 fall in the second category..I am a bit harsh towards Nityashree because I don't find her hard working at all..she by no way is a bad singer, nor is she overconfident...but the judge's ready for playback jaap has somewhere affected her I feel.

So yeah I completely changed the track😆 but rooting for Nahid too..she turned into someone completely different in the middle of the show...beautiful voice!

Seedhe seedhe shabdo mein you open your eyes only when she takes the high ranges .😆 I actually followed your suggestion of closing eyes and listening to Ananya and that worked brilliantly!

First i use to like ananya but after watchimg nahid performence and her simplicity she had become my favourite.and please vote for Nahid. 😊

I really really want Nahid to win as well.

But I have a feeling Nithyashree will win.

She seems to have a huge fan following from South India.

The other day I was watching her audition video .it has over 1 million views.

So yeah.. its Nithyashree who's winning IMO.

I deliberately look away when she sings😆 i started doing that for Nithya recently too since she looks so tense but it did not help much with her other than give the feeling that her vocal chords need rest.. Nahid is fine because she uses her expressions well and only when required, while maintaining a smiling face otherwise.. Ananya used to be like this earlier..

Nithyashree's Vaseegara was just right for her.. That husky sultry voice the song required was just perfect for her.. Her best performance to date and I really expected so much more from her..

More than not knowing the hindi songs (I am sure all of them would have listened to a range of popular songs though I think for Nithyashree, coming from Chennai, I don't think you will find Hindi songs blaring in public places like restaurants and autos unlike in Bangalore because the Tamil music and film industry itself is so huge and they are proud of their own culture and heritage), I think the difference between Anjana and Nithyashree has been the other contestants in the show.. This year has seen a high number of contestants for whom hindi is not the main language unlike last season. The judges did not factor this in when they even made a comment, I think when choosing Vaishnav or Srilakshmi, that they will pick up the language like Anjana did.. Add to it the age-wise and language-wise division, Nithyashree would land up more with Srilakshmi and later with Vaishnav, Nahid with Ananya, Yumna and Ronita, and the boys having their own group.. But whatever be the reason, I feel Anajana really worked hard. It was a close contest between her and Anmol in the end where Anmol had been a clear favourite from the start (and he was really consistently good)..

I still feel that in recent weeks we have not seen the best from Nithyashree and a strained vocal chord is one of the reasons because the issue is not just about not showing the passion in the right places..
