Hey everyone 😊

This is my first OS on Manan actually the very first OS i have written 😳

I hope you enjoy reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it..❤️

There are days that are not so good..coldest even ..when you are all lonely and detached from the rest of the world..crawling under the shadows of doubt ..all you want to do is hold someone who tells you that you are not alone..he is there to take care of you and protect you..and you are worth it .. worth of every damn effort it takes..

"Wasn't I good enough" -a voice shrieked between the tears..

"Tell me Nandini wasn't I good enough "...

Nandini : No Manik..who told you that..never ever say that you are not good enough.. you are the best man I have ever known..a kind soul with a golden heart..

Manik: Then why did she rejected me ..?

With that Manik clutched the necklace in his fist and burst out crying..

Irrecoverably in love with him ..her eyes welled in tears ...she could see anything in the world..but couldn't see him in pain..

"Manik" - she mumbled her name ..

Manik: Tell me Nandu how she can go with someone else..in front of me..how can she..didn't she see how much I loved her..

Though it would pain her gazillion times thinking that her Manik was in love with someone else but it would pain her even more seeing him like that..she couldn't watch him in affliction though she could bear the pain of her heart getting crumbled down to pieces...

Nandini: Manik..please don't say that..I..

And she engulfed him in her tiny arms shaking along while sobbing with him..her petite frame supporting his big masculine form ..

They stayed there ..cocooned in each other's arms for a while..

As sun has to set to make a way for a new morning bringing new hopes and dreams..similarly pain can not stay for too long..every negative thing has some positive hidden inside it..we just need to find out..

Nandini made her way to their secret hideout as she knew that it was the only place where she could find Manik ..

She walked past through a couple of old shattered houses in a shady lair ..This building was closed down a long time back..even though the fire had been ceased ..sure She couldn't forget that day..that's where it all began..

Amidst the chaos of Panick struck people little Nandini who was stuck under the table in fire..heard someone.."come on don't be scared Take my hand "-she raised her head a little up and saw Manik ..
He was battling the fire that was escalating every passing second .."We don't have much time"-he spoke again as he ducked a metal frame which crumbled to the ground amidst the ashes ..
Nandini crawled from underneath and looked at Manik..she remembered their first meeting ..

Those were the cheerful days of summer ...it started when Nandini shifted along with her single mom to the suburbs..

Being a quiet introvert ..there were hardly any friends of her ..one afternoon she was all sad sitting alone on the seesaw..
Suddenly her feet were no more ground rather swaying freely in the air and there she noticed a cute chubby kid who was now in front of her on the other side of the seesaw..

Him: Hi I am Manik..I noticed ..that you are new here..

And he raised his hand ..which she happily held onto..that was their first handshake..it all started from there..

Nandini: Hi I am Nandini..but my mom and the people who are close to me can call me Nandu..

Manik: Can I call you Nandu..

Nandini: Amm..you..

Manik: Yes..aren't we close enough..I thought we are friends now..

In reply she bobbed her head in affirmation..They both smiled..
They started meeting each other everyday..Nandini introduced him to her mom and she happily and whole heartedly accepted him as her son..
Glazing boring afternoons were now filled with their laughter ..along with the silly pranks which rose to a new height everyday ..their fondness of each other grew more stronger..

But nothing stays for forever...change is the only constant thing..

Like normal days ..that day sun rose from the east..except it wasn't going to settle down without taking anything in return..

Nandini's mom left for her office earlier that day leaving Manik and Nandini behind in the playground ...she gave a final look at them and her lips twitched into a big smile watching the little duo so engrossed in each other..Nandini was on the swing which was swaying in the air with Manik pushing it higher and higher..in each turn..

Nandini : Manik..slow down..I will fall..

Manik : Nandu..as long as I am here..nothing will happen to you..

Nandini : Promise ..

Manik looked at Nandini who looking so adorably cute with two ponytails ..he pulled her cheeks and in his babyish tone he reassured her...

Manik : Of course baba..I promishh..

And they both kept playing and soon returned to the Nandini's home.. For they were too tired they drifted into sleep quickly cuddling each other with Nandini's head in manik's chest and his hand on her stomach embracing her..pulling her more closer...

Suddenly Manik woke up from all the screeching ...he drew the curtains to get a better glimpse of what was going on..and what he saw grounded him at his spot...he saw people yelling and screaming like maniacs, running here and there.. bumping into other few trying to escape from the fire that was now drawing closer to them with each passing second...

He turned and saw Nandini peacefully sleeping..though in sleep she moved a little..her hands were searching for him..
" I have to wake her up before anything happens "- he thought..

Manik : Nandu get up ..come on..

He patted on her cheek taking her face in his palms in order to wake her up...

Nandini : Manik..let me sleep..please thoda sa..

Manik was all awed seeing her cute antics which managed to make him smile in such distress..he pushed all his thoughts for there was no time left..they have to get out from there as quickly as possible for fire was increasing at an alarming pace..

He picked up Nandini in his arms..and in no time they walked past burning flames..Manik wrapped her in a blanket covering her fully..and he managed to sneak her out of the building..

He made her sit on the sideways for she was fully awake now watching the building in front of her..where they had lived collapsing down with fire building higher..and covering the skies grey black due to all the smoke..

Manik rubbed her back..

Manik : Are you okay Nandini...

Nandini : Yeah..

Soon she saw her mom pacing towards them ..

Her mom : thank god you are safe ..I was so worried..

She touched Manik and Nandini to see they are all fine..she checked them from head to toe to ensure nothing harmed them..
She moved to talk to other people to find about what was happening ..

Manik was resting with his head bent on his knees ..he opened his eyes and sat upright with a jerk when he heard .." Where is Nandini "- her mom screamed and he looked around but couldn't find her..

"she was here a moment ago ..where she could go"- he panicked ..

"A girl went inside "- he heard some men talking at a distance..

Without wasting any time further he flung past against the panicked crowd which was making it more difficult constantly hurling him back..

However with all his might..he charged inside and shouted "Nandini "..but he couldn't find her..all he could hear were screams of the people who were trapped ..his mind stopped working .."what if Nandini ..what would I do if something happened to her "- He thought he was going to lose it when suddenly he heard a weak voice which was actually coming in intervals in between the sobs..he was beyond relieved when he found that it was Nandini..his heart swelled in happiness to finally see her in front of him that he almost forgot what was happening and took her in a bone crushing hug..

Manik : Are you mad..? Why did you came back ..

He spoke after breaking their hug and gently wiping her tears..

Nandini : Woh..I came to take this..

She pointed toward a bracelet which was clenched in her fist protecting it firmly..
He looked at the bracket and remembered that he has given it to her..on her birthday..marking their friendship forever..

Manik : what for this..why Nandu you risked your life for this..it's not that important ...

Nandini : No Manik..it's important..it's very special to me because you have given it to me..how can I let our friendship burn in fire in front of me while I sit idle doing nothing ..

She recalled how she ran inside the building without giving it a second thought..when she found her wrist bare thinking she must have left it inside the house..

Manik : Nandu our friendship is not that weak..and now promise me you will never ever do that..you will never risk your life..nothing's more valuable than you to me..Promise me Nandu..

He cupped her cheeks looking into her deep eyes..

Nandini : I promise Manik..I will never do anything that will hurt you...I promise..

The promise she made to Manik that day..she is still keeping that ..even though it kills her every single time to see him in love with someone else..but not her..

"Manik " - she mumbled softly as she saw him folding his head in his stomach..

Manik : I can't do this anymore...it kills me ..

He spoke further avoiding. Any eye contact..making her more worried..

Nandini : Manik you can't fall weak..you have to stay strong..for me please now just get up..

She held him from his fingers and led him away from the darkness in which he was engulfed..
They walked aimlessly listening to each other's heart..without any word they remained forever with each other..

She suddenly stopped when she noticed his grip on her wrist became stronger...

Nandini : Manik ..

Manik : Hmmm..

Nandini : what happened Manik..?

Manik : The river ..it's so nice here..let's sit for some time..

Without letting her speak anymore he made her sit along with him on the bench .. while resting his head on her shoulder he kept playing with the threads of her shawl..

She cupped his face from the side and with concern in her eyes she asked him..

Nandini : Manik..you want to tell me something ..

Of course she knew..they have understood each other like no one else can..inside out..two different bodies and one soul..

Manik nodded and took out something from his pocket..and threw it in the river with all his force ..

Nandini : Manik ..what did you do..you got it from your first salary..

Manik gazed at the necklace till it sank to it's lowest ..from where it was no longer visible..

Nandini : Manik ..I am asking you something..

Still looking in that direction ..he spoke..

Manik : I am letting her go..

Nandini : what..?

He turned to meet her eyes..

Manik : Yes Nandu I am letting her go.. she was never mine..love is not something you can force on someone ..you never fall in love deliberately..it just happens..that may be was not my time..

Nandini's eyes brimmed with tears hearing him..she knows what he is going through but still he is keeping a strong face in front of her so that she doesn't feel bad and worry about him anymore..

Before her tears could touch the ground he caught it his hands..

Manik : Don't .. These are way more precious...you told me to be strong..and here you are..

Hearing him she smiled..he was so much in pain..and yet he only wants to think about is her ..

Nandini : Yeah right..you are one tough nut..you know that..

Manik : well I am..hang on..did you just call me nut..

His mouth remained dangling open..which only instigated Nandini to giggle uncontrollably watching his cute antics..

Manik: Way to go Nandu..compliment and taunt together..

And they busted together into fits of laughter..only to gain weird looks from the passerby..but that hardly mattered when they have each other..they couldn't care for anything else..

Manik : Waise..what I think is.. may be there's some one special right in front of me and I haven't noticed..

Manik winked and Nandini blushed hearing him..poor guy if he had any idea.. what he said so casually was the ultimate truth of his life..

Soon the night drew closer ..and so the wind turned chilly.. Nandini draped her shawl more to Manik covering him while he pulled her into his embrace and they both dozed off gazing the stars..

so how was it ? 😊 😊

I know it's not at all par with what i have read here ..still thought to give it a try 😳

It was sheer beauty ...
What else , what better then a friendship to heal an injured soul ... I loved the way u depicted they're friendship it has so much innocence in it,so much purity,nothing selfish ...loved it to the core ..

Hey everyone 😊

Good morning ..well for night owls..it's still the night..😳

I never thought that you would appreciate my idea of Hearstrings since it touched the sad note..and i am really very happy..for all your love and support ❤️

So Here i present the Final part * drumrolls * ..i hope this one will equally receive the love and admiration from you all 😃

Some days are special well not only just special they are glowing and filled with warmth ...Like the other days "today" began on the same note with sun rising from the east and people bustling on the street ..yet there was something different about it..

Among the known , unknown faces..one captured his eyes.."Wow she looks ethereal .."-he felt bewitched with her enchanting smile..

"So sorry Manik ..actually I wasn't going to be late..but the stupid alarm .."-she argued while muttering aiyappa many times who in fact was wondering from above what he has to do anything in this..

"Oh ..does she always looks this cute..when confused "-Manik wondered..

Manik : It's alright Nandu..let's go..

Nandini : Wow that's a first..I mean it's the first time that you are not mad at me for being late..what's going on ?

Manik felt flustered .. he himself didn't knew what was happening..it felt like something new..

Manik : Yeah..Nandu...actually I want a favour from you..

Yup he covered himself ..

Nandini : I knew it..Bolo..what do you want ..

Manik : for that..you have to come with me...and yes no questions asked...

She pouted hearing him for he very well knew what's coming his way when he is with Nandini ..well that's a disadvantage of being a best friend for that person knows more about you than Yourself..

He chucked at her reaction and held her hand.. entwined with his and folded it in his pocket of the fur coat he was wearing which gave her a tingling sensation ..she suddenly felt something warm and melting in her heart ..and then he dragged her along and she followed him without a word..surprised for what was coming..

Nandini looked up and down and yet again till she was fully satisfied with what she saw..a building as high as sky..they were standing beside...

She looked at Manik who was busy in his own world of "Nandini's appreciation society : Run by one and only Manik Malhotra " admiring range of expressions that flushed through her face in that instant ..he brought her here..

She shook him to snap him out of his trance..

Nandini : Manik..what we are doing here..?

Manik started looking here and there in embarrassment before meeting her eyes..for he was whacked back to reality..

Nandini : Manik..you look lost ..I am asking you something..why are we here..?

Manik : Come on..she must be waiting..

And before she could ask something..a strong gush of force pulled her into the elevator and Manik taking her by surprise.. pressed the button of the top most floor..

"Oh God..what's in his mind "- she mumbled..

Manik : Nothing that sort..of.. you are imagining..

Her eyes widened bigger and bigger hearing him while her lips adorned the most perfect pout which very well unknown to her was creating havoc inside him..

"Damn ..when will she stop looking at me like that..why does she have to look cute all the time "- his mind argued..while his heart fluttered..

Soon they reached in front of a receptionist bay.. embellished by a large queue..which was quite weird as most of times this place is vacant as ice hell..

Nandini : Wow..Such a rush..I wonder what's happening here..?

She glanced at Manik who was sailing his arms up and down doing some bizarre kind of peppy number...ignoring the looks of passerby..

Finally he stopped and looked at her in surprise...

Manik : what..why are looking at me like that..sure you are weird..

Nandini : Yeah ..I am weird..what were you doing ?

He gave a one quick look at the receptionist who signaled him something and then ..Without answering anything and ignoring all the protests ..he held her wrist firmly and barged into a room..to the extreme right..

From blue to red..every color of the rainbow palette embossed the minutest intricacy..to the each corner..

They stood gazing at the mini festival that was happening unaware to the rest of the world..little children ..all decked up in the different costumes as fairies danced in a awe pattern traversing all the corners of the room while their instructor was keeping the moves in check with the beats to follow..in a perfect coordination they created a magic surreal to the surroundings..

As they finished the room filled with cheers of claps and applaud...

They turned to see Manik and Nandini hooting and whistling amidst all..

Manik : That was mind blowing sherry..

Nandini : Yes it was brilliant..stunning absolutely..magical..I felt I was in a different world..

Sherry : Oh..thank you.. glad you liked it..right girls..

And she turned towards the little girls..who were observing enthusiastically with their keen pair of eyes..

All : Yay Miss...

Manik : Sherry Meet Nandini..I was telling you about..she is perfect for this...

Sherry : Really.. is that so...?

Nandini : amm..perfect for what..

She checked Nandini from head to toe investigating and gauging her to the set scale of the standards...
Undergoing all the scanning ..Nandini got pretty nervous constantly biting her nails in anticipation..

Manik : Come on sherry ..stop scaring her..

Sherry smiled hearing him..anyone would be blind not to see that affection he had for Nandini..poor guy if he had any idea what's his heart desire..

Sherry : Alright ..I trust you Manik...

She nodded at affirmation to Manik and turned towards Nandini ..

Sherry : Hey I am sherry..your Manik's would be sister in law..

" Your Manik " ringed in her ears like a melody and beyond that she couldn't hear anything..or your could say nothing mattered to her anymore after that..a small blush made it's way to Nandini's cheeks and her ears turned red contemplating what she heard was real or the figment of her imagination..

Sherry snapped her fingers in front of her..

Sherry : Hola girl..where are you lost..?

Nandini : amm..what ?

Sherry : What..what..Nandini I am asking you something..

Mortified Nandini looked at Manik ..who in turn held her hands in his palms and looked lovingly in her eyes in assurance..making her cheeks a shade deeper of Crimson.. her lips parched in reaction sensing his closeness and a never like before.. sudden tingling of warming electrifying sensation traversed his spine..his words froze in the middle as he got lost in her dreamy eyes..

Sherry chuckled and coughed loud enough to thwack them back to the reality..

Flustered Manik immediately left her ..while a clueless Nandini started looking here and there..

Sherry : So Nandini..what did you thought..?

Nandini : About what..

Sherry : Well..Well..looks like Manik didn't tell you anything..

Nandini looked at Manik while he avoided directly meeting her eyes..for the previous incident he was almost in the trouble..in front of sherry who would leave no stone unturned to tease him like anything..

Not getting any response Nandini again turned towards sherry who was desperately waiting for this golden moment..

Sherry : You know Nandini ..Manik.. from the day I have met him..he has been praising you day and night..he in fact continued pestering me to take you in this..he told me that .. "sherry my Nandini is the best..no one can beat her..she will handle this like anything..I can put my life on that.. "..so I thought to finally meet you.. after all..it's your responsibility in the end..isn't it..!

Nandini : Sorry..I didn't get it..what Manik did this time..

Sherry : what he did..would be an understatement..he made my life a living hell constantly blabbering about you..according to him ..you are the world's best singer..and no one can beat you ..so apparently he wanted me to assist you in this play that we are having for school annual function..on it's 50th anniversary..

Nandini glimpsed at him amusingly..while he hid his face beneath his palms to get rid of embarrassment.. gushing sherry has been pouring onto him..in front of all the children who were laughing merrily hearing their rants..

Sherry : So Nandini..what do you say..will you be my partner in crime..to handle these naughty fellas ..

Nandini : But how could I..

Manik : Please Nandini...

All : Yes please miss Nandini..won't you help us..

Staring at their puppy faces and pleading eyes..she couldn't deny.."Oh god.. manik always do this on purpose..and strange how everyone is following him.."

And as they were mirthful in discussing their plans on .."how to" and "what to"..they saw a guy in his mid twenties joining them..with a embellished diamond blazer along it's matching lower and cuffs ..he was looking like a flashing live jewellery store walking in a broad daylight..

Him : Hola Amigos ..

Everyone looked at him bewildered..

Sherry : Oh Hey Steve..how are you..?

He side hugged sherry and spoke...

Steve : I am good sherry..oh well well..who is this pretty lady...

He took Nandini 's hand in his and kissed sloppily on the top ..savouring it..while Manik scrunched his nose in displeasure ..with his fists ready to shoot and knock the black and blue out of Steve and quite lucky for him before Manik could pounce on him ruthlessly ..Nandini in time pulled her hand from his hold..

Sherry : She is Nandini..she would be assisting us in the play...you should hear her singing ..she is spectacular..

Steve : she looks spectacular..

And then as sherry turned to Manik and Nandini..she saw Manik grinding his teeth and looking at Steve as he was going to eat him alive.."Well now I think is the time Manik..you acknowledge someone precious "-she smiled evilly as she churned out one of her meticulous plan..

Sherry : And he is Mr Steve..who will be directing the play..though he is quite notorious for his extraordinary artwork ..he is also one of the major sponsor of this play...it wouldn't have been possible without him..

Despite of all..on sherry's request to behave...manik exchanged some happy pleasantries with Steve.. with slight a hint of discomfort in between..

Soon all got dispersed and got occupied with their work..

And as all were engrossed ..Steve walked up to Nandini trying to take her suggestions on something..all the while Manik's eyes were glued onto them..noticing their every shared laugh and carefree expressions..he flinched in anxiety...

Sherry noticed the disturbance and tried talking to Manik..

Sherry : Manik..All..Ok..

It took him a while..

Manik : Yeah..why..

Sherry : No ..I mean..the way you are staring at Steve..noticing his every move..looks like..

Manik : Looks like..

Manik creased his eyebrows in suspicion..thinking he was caught red handed he was fishing for the perfect excuse..while sherry knew what exactly he was trying..she tried to stretch it further to make him confess his true feelings..without any fear or hesitation..

Sherry : Looks like you are in love with him..

Manik : What..you are ridiculous..

Manik's trying to protest turned futile as sherry noticed the uneasiness clearly..

Manik : He is in fact quite nosy..

Sherry : Nosy..how ?

Manik : Whoa..didn't you notice.. how he isn't ready to leave Nandini for even a single second..I am feeling so bad for her ..she is going through all this because I brought her here..you understand right..what i am trying to say..

Sherry : Of course I understand ..I can see clearly that .. *Drumroll * someone is jealous..

For a moment he gaped at her while in the other he quickly calmed himself down..

Manik : I don't know ..what you are talking about..

Sherry : Come on Manik..don't lie to yourself..the way you act around her...I have noticed that..going all protective and possessive about her..her single tear shakes you to the core..her one smile makes you forget about your worries..you can sing songs about how wonderful your Nandini is..you can not see her with someone else other than you..it pinches you when you see her laughing with anyone else if that's not you..Don't believe me ..ask yourself how much important she is to you..what's in your heart..all your answers are here..

With that she walked away leaving a shattered Manik behind ..pondering over his thoughts again and again he crumbled down to the ground..constantly rambling "is she right..do I love Nandu "..he closed his eyes ..tears trickled down his cheeks...rewinding all his memories in a flashback...

"He remembered the first time he met her in the garden in front of the building she recently moved in during her summers"..-nandu he mumbled..

"He remembered their first handshake.."-which suddenly brought a smile on his face..

"He felt petrified when he remembered her being in the fire clutching her friendship bracelet tightly ..she risked her life ..for he has given to her..it was his first gift to her..more than a gift it was a promise ..a promise of staying together no matter what..like she has been with him for years..through every thick and thin.."-he felt proud ..

"He remembered their first hug and how she always protected him standing and guarding him from all the pain "-he felt happy and content..

"He remembered how can he forget all his worries..with just her being there was more than enough than anything.."

"He remembered her smile which is sufficient enough to light up his whole world "

"Her voice..so melodious..he can spend his whole life hearing her rants.."

"Her face..so serene and beautiful..can even put a heaven's angel to shame.."

"And most importantly..it's her pure heart that makes her ethereal ..making all wonder how can such a pure soul exist..may be she is a fairy ..who has descended down to earth to make his life brighter "..

"Yes I Love Nandu..I love her " -his heart thumped loudly..

He opened his eyes flashing the most charming smile..and saw Nandini helping the children and laughing over something silly..he went all awe..while he was rejoicing his moment of self discovery..sherry on his side elbowed him ..to pull him out of his Nandini land..

Manik : when did you come ?

Sherry : when you were flashing your 32 teeth smile..

Manik : Haha..so funny...

Sherry : what are you thinking..

Manik : Nothing..it's just that I wasted so much time realising my love for her..

Sherry: What did you said..come again..

Manik : Yes..I love her..I love Nandini..

And he blushed hearing his own confession..

Sherry : Oh..you look so cute ..when you blush..Nandini should definitely see this..

And as sherry stood eager to bursting out his little secret..he pulled her back and she landed on the ground with a huge thud..

Sherry : Ouch..what are you doing Manik..

Manik: Are you mad..how can you blurt out all this in front of her..what if she doesn't feel the same way..I don't want to loose her friendship..

Sherry : I tell you..such dimwits are these men...how can you accept your defeat without even trying..and precisely how can you not see the love she has for you ..her eyes speak volumes about how much she is in love with you..may be much before you have acknowledged..

Hearing her Manik's eyes bulged out of it's sockets ..but before he could say anything..he heard ..

Nandini : Oh my god Sherry..are you Alright..

And she helped her standing straight..

Sherry : oh..Thank you Nandini..such a angel you are..otherwise some people are so lost in themselves that they don't even care for what's happening around them..

Sherry spoke while eyeing Manik...while he suppressed his laughter..

Finally it's the D-Day ..they all anticipated for..

Nandini was rolling like a bundle of energy from here to there handling everything from their little fairy costumes to encouraging them for their Big Day ..while Manik's eyes never left her..he followed her like a shadow..registering her every reaction ..from confused to happy..and sad... " God she is so adorable..like a baby..I will never let her cry..and i will give her the whole world's happiness..memories to rejoice..I will fill her world with hope ..like she has been my star..I will be her tiny firefly.."-he made a note to his self..

And soon fairies adorned the sky..dancing and singing in every nook and corner of the stage..contagious enough to make everyone in the vicinity bewitched by it's magic ..All sort of hues swirled through patterns making everyone go Gaga over them..it felt like altogether a different world..surreal to fantasy and as it came to an end ...a bright light fall on Nandini..and in the background slideshow started beautifully describing "Manik and Nandini " : their long traversed path through their shared memories .. Manik entered through the extreme corner while all those Lille fairies showered flower petals on them .. merrily dancing to the soft music..

Nandini stood all dazed ..awestruck thinking it must be her dream..Manik was looking like a prince..

He bent down on his one knee and took something shiny out from the box..

With all the love in his eyes..he looked at her..

Manik : Nandini ..I know..the feelings I have for you are not simple enough to be envisioned through the words..I have known you through all this years..and in all these years..when I cared for you..protected you and hugged you ..all this while..my heart was silently screaming to me about how much I love you..Yes Nandini..I love you so much..hamesha..you are a angel who always stood up for me and guarded me ..with your love and care..I was a fool to not acknowledge it before..and now when I know how much precious you are to me..I can't imagine any single moment without you..my life is beautiful only if you are there by my side..I don't feel scared of darkness when you are with me..agar tum ho toh main hoon..agar tum nahin toh main Bhi nahin..nandini...your smile is powerful enough to make my gloomiest days surrender in peace.. And I can't wait to scream it to the entire world that I love you ..

Nandini eyes brimmed with tears..the thing she couldn't have imagined in her dreams was happening for real..

Manik : I can't wait to spend my entire life with you..Nandini murthy ..will you marry me..?

Getting no response from her ..Manik shook his head..and spoke..

Manik : Nandini..I am sorry..if it's earlier..I will wait for you.. till eternity.. for my entire life..I will wait for us..

And as Manik started walking away..Nandini caught his hand and cupped his face..to meet his eyes..

Nandini : I have loved you since the stars twinkling..I have loved you since I got to know what is love..I have loved you since we started playing together..I have loved you since you held my hand...I have loved you since our first handshake..I have loved you since you came in my life..I have loved you from our first fight to our first forever as friends..I have loved you always..hamesha...and yes I will marry you..

Both were crying and amidst all the cheers from the little ones and the other people present there were moved to tears witnessing the Union of two souls Manik put the ring in nandini's finger...and after two months of courtship they eventually got married with all the rituals and Gaja-Baja..

From the time they were born.. until they died in each other's arms they remained together forever..whether they no longer remain..their love story will always remain till the end of eternity.. stars and fireflies will always shine for their love and hope.. for many centuries to come..

So i guess that was the end of it..I hope you enjoyed reading it as much as i enjoyed writing it 😳
