Last night felt like a dream come true for her. She felt like a princess who found her prince all over again.

After his proposal for marriage Raman had kissed ishita not caring about the whole world. Every one who saw it were in awe of the scene be it in front of the screens in their home or the ones present in the restaurant.

After enjoying each other's company and finishing their dinner Ishita and Raman had got back home all thanks to Ishita's stupid conscience.

The first thing Ishita did as soon as she reached home was dial Shagun.

"Shagun Pick up the phone. I really need to give you a good news bitch!

"Shagun what's wrong? Kulta are you there? Please answer me babe!" she heard sobbing sound from the other end. After trying for an hour shagun at last answered the call. Ishita knew something was wrong because shagun was someone who never cried in her life unless related to ishita.

Seeing no response from her side, ishita pulled over a hoodie, grabbed her car keys and rushed outside the house.

She drove the car insanely fast. With every passing second the worry for her friend was increasing. She tried dialing her number but it remained unavailable. Her house landline rang till it went dead.

As the clock struck 2 she found herself in front of Shagun's house. Not that she would knock and enter. As soon as she saw it was locked she did the next obvious thing. She took the spare key out of her hiding place only to hear sobbing sound from inside. She immediately went inside only to see a storm in the house. Well not exactly storm but the house looked like as if it was hit by a storm with the artifacts thrown all around and bottle and cancer sticks.

"Shags, Shagun where r u? Crazy cow?" she peeped in all the rooms searching for her friend. She found Advey sleeping on the bed with shagun hovering over him all sloshed. She was patting to sleep and looks hideous.

Ishita was shocked to see Shagun in that state. She rushed to her side taking her in a bone-crushing (actually its always said in an exaggerated manner but now it was literally bone crushing) hug. Shagun feeling the sudden weight looked towards ishita who had just knocked her breath out. She started coughing feeling short of breathe with the sudden assault.

"You mad women leave me, you are chocking me" shagun tried pushing her away.

"I'm sorry what happened to you? You look like as if someone just tried to rape your brains off. Tell me who is that Maa Kasam ill rip him with my bear hands" she held her fist mimicking the action.

Shagun couldn't help but smile at her friend. Over come with emotions she hugged ishita sobbing in her arms. Ishita who was initially shocked hugged her back hearing the loud sobs. She couldn't phantom any happening. She let shagun cry her heart out. After almost like an hour when she felt her calm she opened her question bank bombarding her.

"Shags what is this? What happened? Where is Ashok? Answer me you mad awesome. You have got me worried"

Shagun who now was composed just glared at Ishita. "Will you take breath at least. God knows what gets into you. Anyway there is nothing wrong with me. I'm fine now. I just found out that Ashok was cheating behind my back when I came today home early then intended. Anyway good riddance. At least I got to know the truth." She stated the fact emotionless.

Ishita was shocked. She had her hands covering her mouth with her eyes wide open. "OMG, really? I mean when did it happen? How did it happen? Are you alright?"

Of course you bimbo she is not all right. Where do you lose your brains? Common sense seems to have been knocked out of your brains now a days. You better warn Raman about this before he kicks you on your ass.' Her second best friend counter attacked her.

Will you shut up my best friend needs me more than I need you now. You can go and hide yourself somewhere now. And don't bring Raman in here I need the situation under control now'. Ishita chided it back.

So coming back.

"Now stop giving me your filmy effects and help me get over with him. I have told him not to have any contact with Advey or me. I want my baby to be safe from that leech. And ya I am applying for divorce tomorrow." Shagun voiced out her plans to Ishita.

"Are you sure? I mean yes you should divorce him. Should I talk to Raman, he might help you out with the lawyer."

"Please do. I really don't have strength to deal with this shit. I just want to get over with it."

No more hugs and comforting assurances were needed. They were there with each other and that was what mattered.

After what seemed like ages Shagun was at last free from the clutches of Ashok. It was done smoothly because the best lawyer handled the case. Shagun dint demand any alimony as she dint want any contact with Ashok. However, the whole process took a toll on Shagun emotionally. She looked defeated. Ishita knew she was heartbroken though she appeared strong from outside.

Raman and Ishita could not find time for themselves. Ishita was constantly with Shagun and Raman was busy helping Shagun. However, what dint stop was their phone calls. Come on the phone company had their half the earnings because of these two people.

Shagun had soon requested a holiday to her parent's house. She wanted to stabilize her life and wanted some peace. Hence, she had gone back to her parents for few days promising Ishu that she will soon to prepare for the wedding.
