Sonu was blunt when he spoke about how, due to auto-tuning, every Tom Dick and Harry has started singing for movies and genuine talent is being lost..

I only downloaded and listened yesterday.. but the auto tune didn't work for me.. it's sounds soo weird they did better in Hangover.. And Armaan does have a good voice. His version standout of course

Armaan Malik has hardly been sidelined if he's got 4.8 million views, a lot of songs don't get that many views so quickly. Also I think part of the reason his has less views than Salman Khan's is because his version was launched later than the Salman Khan version. If I'm not wrong his version was also used in the trailer of Hero?

But I agree that anyone seems to be able to sing with autotune and it is annoying, and those days are gone when singing used to be about singing.

In this case in a weird way I think the Salman Khan version both helped and and didn't help Armaan Maik. It helped because it publicised the song more, and also those that appreciate music with autotune instantly turned to Armaan Malik's version. The bad thing was that some had already gotten used to the Salman Khan version, but without Salman Khan would the attraction still be there for the song for Salman fans? It's a mix I think.

Iss mein hats the fuss? If they sing well and people like it what the problem? if they dont sound awful it should not affect. People are liking it so more actors singing. All the movie soundtracks have diferent versions of the song the song Salman, Alia, Shraddha sang had another version by singers if ppl who dont like their version can listen to the professional singer's version.
