CHAPTER 19

Few days pass things are normal in the palace. Every one is at peace. Ruqaiya is in her room gets to know about Jodha ill health. Ask Salima what wrong with Jodha. I meet her in the morning she looked fine,every day in Dewan-e-Khas also looks fine. Salima is also unaware. They both go to see Jodha. Guards stop them Guard say) "Sorry Begum Saahiba Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Begum-e-Khas Jodha Begum has stictly said not allow anyone (Jalal coming there asks) Begum-e-Khas Ruqaiya Begum, Khas Begum Salima begum you both here (Ruqaiya says) we had come to meet Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Begum-e-Khas Jodha Begum but she doesn't want to meet anyone (Salima adds) I have her health is not fine (Jalal says) I will see myself (Jalal goes in Jodha is busy making mala for kahna ignores Jalal, Jalal says) Jodha why have you had food for last 5 days (Jodha with fake superise asks) Your are concerned about me (Jalal makes her face him) You are upset with me (Jodha says) You're Shahansha-e-Hindustan Jalaludin Mohammad I can only request you (Jalal says) Jodha I can't see you like this (Jodha says) Shahansha you know my husband is in a lot of pain you want me to have food that can't happen (Jalal says) I go right now & go and talk to Ruqaiya Begum but before that (calling Moti) get food for Jodha Begum (calling a bandhi) tell Ruqaiya Begum I am looking for her in the Harem (Ruqaiya & Salima are in Salima's room Bandhi comes there says) Begum-e-Khas Ruqaiya Begum Shahansha is asking for you he is in the haram (Ruqaiya goes to the harem. Jalal tell her to stay in the room in which Jodha was staying before she was given Ruqaiya room & also says you stuff will remain here. She realise what ever is happening is because of Jodha & Jalal is still angry with her. Pinaz & Najma see this & go to Jodha to report. In Jodha's room. Reva & Moti think if Jalal comes back & there is no food he will get angry. Bandhi come there) Bandhi says "Nimmat Wali Malika-E-Mazzuma Begum-e-Khas Jodha Begum, Shahansha is calling you in Ruqaiya Begum's room. (Jodha goes there & says) Did you call me Shahansha (Jalal says) Yes Begum-e-Khas Jodha Begum I called you (Jodha greets) Pranam Ruqaiya Begum (Ruqaiya greets her back) Salaam Jodha Begum (Jalal asks) where were you (Jodha replies) I Rahim was with Rahim (Moti comes there with a tray. Ruqaiya asks) Jodha Begum yeh kya hai (Jodha asks) do you like kheer Ruqaiya Begum (Ruqaiya says) Yes (Jodha asks) Shahansha will you take (Ruqaiya praising says) Jalal take it it is very nice (Jalal takes it eating ask) Begum-e-Khas Jodha Begum have you made it,(Jodha looked & him. They both had a eye lock. Jalal understood she knew he was still angry with Ruqaiya only for her he did this), Jodha Begum it is very delicious do you have more Kheer (Jodha smiling says) Hum aagya degiye hume Ammi Jaan ke paas jaana hai. (Jodha leaves goes to her room. After a little time Jalal come to her room & asks) Jodha aab aap khush hai (Jodha says) Haa Jalal (asks) kyoun aap prasan nahi hai.(Jalal hugging her tightly says) Haa, khush to hai magar abhi bhi hum Ruqaiya maffui nahi kar paye hai, srif aapke liye hum ne yeh kiya hai."(They both spent time together. Few days later there some work happening in the harem there is lot of noise so Jodha tells Ruqaiya to stay in her room in the night as sleep wouldn't be easy. Jalal come there superised to see Ruqaiya & goes from there 3 days pass & Ruqaiya is staying in Jodha room. Jalal is unaware. He come in the room Jalal thinking it is Jodha back hugs Ruqaiya) See what got for you (makes her wear the neckleace. Ruqaiya not realising that he doesn't know it's her) Thankyou it is very beautiful (Jalal superised says) Ruqaiya Begum you here,(a little worried adds) where is Jodha Begum (Jodha comes in & says) I am here Shahansha (Jalal hugs her immediately & asks) What is Ruqaiya Begum doing here (Jodha replies) staying (Jalal says) It is your room (Jodha says) Before me it is her room (Jalal asks) where are you staying (looks around) this is all your stuff (Jodha says) yes this is my stuff & I am staying where I was staying before, she was not felling well so I told her to stay here, there a lot of noise as work is going on (Jalal says) I have given her punishment (Jodha says) I know but she was ill (Jalal asks) Why didn't you tell me (Jodha says) You are behaving like I done some crime being the Begum-e-Khas I suppose to take care of every one you only told me didn't you (Ruqaiya trying to cover up says) Jalal I was not comfortable there Jodha Begum just want to help... (Jalal hugging Jodha cuts in) Ruqaiya just shut up, Jodha Begum come with me to my room you are staying there till Ruqaiya Begum is staying in your room (he pull Jodha out with him)
