Chapter 14 ⭐️ -

They reached Mumbai...days passed and college began with a new term...But still our Mr. Hesitant Malhotra was where he was...
C-Itne din ho gaye yaar tere promise ko...kab baat karega usse..!? said a frustrated Cabir...but why not frustrated...his dear friend was slower than a tortoise...with him at this pace al of it seemed a pipe's dream to Cabir.
Ab-Chal bhai ham bata dete hai..
Mu-Kya batana hai...!? Kise batana hai..
M-Nothing ya just random guys talk..

And this was his end he thought girls can't digest food with keeping things in their stomach...Though she didn't behave like one but she ultimately was one..and she getting to know of it..it wouldn't take time to reach Nandini before he tells her...He signalled Cabir and Abeer not to spill the beans but why would they listen to him when he didn't ;)...they gave a naughty smirk and...

C-No Mukti..I'll tell you.
Ab-Exactly ye mahashay ne kuch kaha nai na so this is ur punishment Mister...
Mu-Confused!!(emphasising with fingers) Pls elaborate
C-Manik likes Nandini from pata nai kabse ki and he is not telling her..

Ab-Ya and thoda jaldi karna haam...Chachi will be calling for dinner in a while and if you do not tell her dinner table pe hum use bol denge Chachi ke saamne..
C-Kya kya karna padta hai na...hai toh itna bada khamba jaisa lekin thoda risk bhi nai leta...tujhe kha nai jaayegi wo.
Mu-Pheww..!!Kitni mehnat lagi...
M- glares at them n says...ho gaya..!!
C-Ghoor kya raha hai..

On The Terrace-

N-Are Manik tum...Mukti ne toh kaha ke Abeer called me.
M-No...maybe you heard it wrong ya usne galat kaha (self thought-Ye Mukti bhi na..!!)
N-Kuch kaam tha..!?
M-Wo..

The Manik Malhotra was nervous.There was a war going on inside him..His heart said 'say it' but his mind said 'are you sure'..'now or never' his heart retaliated..'think again' his brain said to settle the score..and his heart put the ball in the basket by saying.."listen to me..all will be right".This inner combat came to a halt when Nandini called him..

N-Manik kya hua..!!
M-Huh..!! Haan..!!Kuch nai wo..
N-Abhi Chachi dinner ke liye bulayengi Manik...kuch kehna tha kya..
M-Wo...Nandini tumhe kya lagta hai mere baareme...main kaisa hoon
N-Ye kaisa sawal hai..kya ho gaya hai tumhe.. 😕
M-Just say it..!!
N-(weird face) Okay..!! Tum Monster Manu Malhotra ho.. (with a giggle)
mere best friend ho..u are very caring and understanding and everyone likes you...aur
M-Aur tum..!??
N-Haan even I'm counted in that Everyone na..
M-(sighs) No Nandu...!!_______(pause) (He takes her hand in his) I like you like really really...
All Nandu was doing was staring at him with eyes wide open.
M-Don't stare at me Nandu..bolo kuch.Do you too...!??I mean feel something atleast for me..!? Like I know all of a sudden this talk..its surprising but I do...from dono when...
N-Manikk..!! She said more in a surpised and shocked tone.He knew his feelings from the start but all this was new for her..
Ch-Nandu chal aaja khaana laga diya hai...!?
Hearing this she advances to leave but Manik catches hold of her wrist..
M-Will you be my date for the ball...!?Don't worry Nandini..take your time..think about it and I promise this will not effect our friendship...never ever.
N-Hmm..
M-Do din baad ball hai..tab tak u think...but that day mujhe jawab chahiye..dogi na!!

She nods her head and runs away...!! Cavir and Abeer observe her on the dinner table all thinking and simultaneously smiling..They presume Manik told her and are happy...2 days pass by in a jiffy..and finally it was the D-Day.

Morning..In The College-

Fab5 had gone to college for practice and the rest of them were busy making preparations...Just after practice someone pulled Nandini in a classroom and it was our very own Junior Malhotra.

N-Manikk..!! You scared me...
M-Achaa...really!! But tumhe pata hai na...aaj ball hai..
N-(acting all innocent) Haan..!!
M-Toh...
N-Toh what Manik...
M-Tumhe pata hai na...don't act haan..Mujhe jawab chahiye...!!
But she runs away from his hold.Reaching the door she yurns and says aaj raat party mein I will...
M-No I wanna know now..
N-Acha Ok...party ke pehle I will...pakka and runs away..
M-No running away Nandu this time...u will have to answer...says to himself smilingly.

uff..finally Manik ne confess toh kiya!!..Haaye meko bhi aessa ladka chaiye who would have that long term crush on me..hehe don't know from when wala..loved Cabir Aberr..and obviously meri jaan Mukti!!..

Toh ab nandu ka answer kya hogaa hmmm..!!

And I hope annya kuch gadbad na krre!!
