Salman Khan's regular guy look in Bajrangi Bhaijaan with simple shirts, kurtas, trousers and jeans went well with his character and the audience as well. And it appears that the star will once again stick to simple look for his character in Sultan in which Salman plays a Punjabi. Says Bollywood fashion designer and stylist, Ashley Rebello, "We are still at the discussion stage but his look will be more of a simple Punjabi man in Sultan, nothing fancy."
Rebello, who has been Salman's dedicated designer (besides the actor's sister, Alvira Agnihotri) for the last seven years, since Wanted which released in 2009, wishes that all the stylists and designers should have a muse like Salman. "Salman is so wonderful, he is so open to new ideas and not picky at all. He follows me blindly when it comes to formals. I leave his shirts, suits on the hanger and he wears whatever I put together without a fuss," says Salman's personal stylist.
Continues Rebello, "I like it when stars give you all the liberties and let the designer work as per what is right for the film. Hence we got so much appreciation for Bajrangi Bhaijaan." Rebello is currently working with Salman on Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Sultan. "Both the films are so different in their styles and unique in their look. We are also taking guidelines from Raghavendra Rathore for Prem Ratan Dhan Payo since Salman has a royal look in the film," says the designer.
Further talking about Salman's style sense vis-a-vis the change in his personality over the years, the man behind Salman's avatar, revealed, "I feel that Salman has become much more relaxed in terms of his style... the way he carries himself denotes that he has become this person who doesn't really bother about anything that would effect him. He has become very casual and approachable unlike what people thought about him before. He has become this nice individual and can connect with anyone who has the same mindset," says Rebello.
