Salman had adopted a family in Kashmir while the shoot of Bajrangi Bhaijaan'. Salman Khan and the crew of his blockbuster movie had visited the beautiful Kashmir to do the shooting of the film and that's when 75-year-old Zaina Begum came across the crew of Kabir Khan's film. Our source Aamir Salati approached Zaina Begum's grandson Gowhar Ahmad Bhat who REVEALED what actually happened. The old lady Zaina begs on street in order to earn bread for her family. Her family includes a son who is not around and a daughter Khalidaa Jaan who is a widow, 1 grandson that is Gowhar and 4 granddaughters out of which 1 is married. There is no other male member in the family. Zaina earns by begging on street and 1 of her granddaughter is involved in carpet making whereas other 2 are studying in fifth and eighth grade.

When Zaina heard about Bollywood actor Salman Khan present in The Valley for the film's shoot, she happened to approach with an application to help her and her family who is in terrible financial crisis. One of the members from the production team conveyed Zaina's concerns to Salman who further promised her to solve all her problems. Salman Khan never met the family directly. Salman after getting to know all the concerns decided to offer a job to Zaina's grandson Gowhar, a new home and a refreshing life for Gowhar in Mumbai. Khalidaa never wanted her son to go to Mumbai as he is the only male member in the family. She wanted Salman to help him with a job in Kashmir itself with good pay that would help the family in a sufficient manner.

Gowhar told our source that he joined the art department of Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and worked for 9 to 10 days. He had to leave the job half way because he could not focus on his studies. Gowhar is studying in twelfth grade. Unfortunately Gowhar has NOT been paid for the number of days he has worked and neither does he know who to approach as no contact details have been provided. With regards to the new house he said, the contractor stopped the work of the house a month and a half back. But somehow, the work has been started again in full force. The painting work is going on.
