Just as they reached to the party venue Taani was feeling shy and bit tensed, she has not seen so

many people and gathering together, just as Rey stepped down and opened the door of her side

she was nervous, he could see nervousness clearly written on her eyes, he forwarded his hand

and she slowly kept her soft palms on his, and stepped down. As soon as they entered all eyes

were fixed on hers, why not? Reyansh Singhania is coming with a girl and the girl is no less than

a stunning beauty yet innocence dripping from her eyes whereas nervousness was rising in her

heart, she was never used to such attention, she gripped his palms more tightly, it was dead tight

and that made Rey more sure of her nervousness, but he felt good to see her dependence on

him, it makes him feel more wanted, he immediately kept his hand on her right shoulder and

pulled her into him, he could feel instead of her feeling awkward her muscles immediately

relaxed and then she heard his husky voice " tum mere saath ayii ho, and jitney bhi women or

you". They enjoyed the party he introduced her with Mr. Vijay Chandra Singh who is the VP of the

most reputed St. Louis College of Mumbai, standing in a corner they discussed about her

admission, the VP was really glad to meet her and was pleased knowing the high percentage of

marks she achieved, moreover he was ready to admit her to the second year of college only if

she is ready to work hard and pass brilliantly in the upcoming exam due in 6 months, she nodded

her head as studies is something which she always loved and was egger to pursue, Rey really

liked her eagerness for studies and he had already made up his mind that he will allow her to

pursue all her degrees will never stop her, when VP sir asked her identity, he carefully

introduced her as Swayam's sister whereas to other's he didn't exactly specified who she is? To

some of his nearest friends, rather clients he introduced her as his friend, but girls were jealous

because it became obvious to them rather they were more than sure that she is his girl friend, it

was not that he mind rather he would be the happiest and proudest to introduce her as his girl

friend as someone who belongs only to him but he didn't want to make things complicated for her

as still she required time to completely come out of her shattering past. Later the host called Rey

for drinks, even she was offered too as girls of high society parties were used to it, seeing her

nervousness Rey ordered the waiter for a glass of soft drinks for her and he himself took just a

peg of hard drinks which was usual, being brought up in abroad. Rey and Taani had a nice time

in the party while returning her eyes were shining in glee first time she has attained such parties

and such gatherings, in the beginning she was bit nervous but his hold on her shoulder made her

relax instantly and today she experienced a different feeling in her heart, she is not that nave that

she will not be able to understand the hint of jealousy in the eyes of the young girls present in the

party seeing her with Rey but today that gave her certain happiness as if she was proud that she

was the one Rey was taking care of, ignoring others, she started liking the warmth of his hold and

care. She even remembered the moments happened between them just before they stepped out

for the party, how they came near and while consoling her, how he held her in his arms that his

protective hold was comforting her, she was in her own world smiling and remembering the small

incidents. Rey was driving slowly, he was not in a hurry already he has switched off the AC on

her request as she love to feel the natural air, flowing through the car pane. He wanted to initiate

a conversation but when he saw her lost in her own world smiling, he dropped the idea of talking

to her, instead he was stealing glances at her, admiring her, adoring her, he was feeling good to

see her smiling lost in her own thoughts which indicated that at least she was far away from the

haunting memories of her past. Soon they reached their mansion, but by that time she was

already sleeping resting her head on his shoulder while sleeping. He slowly parked the car in the

garage and stepped outside, handing over his keys to the watchman, he came towards her side

and opening the door, consciously took her in his arms without disturbing her sleep, and carried

her to her room. Resting her sleepy form on her bed he sat near the edge and unbuckled her

heals while she stirred in her sleep and turned towards the other side, he ruffled her hair and

placed a kiss on her forehead, and then switching off the light he slowly came out of her room

and headed towards his room.

It was late night after freshening up he was in his sweat pants and his vest standing near the

window feeling the cool breeze lost in his thoughts. Like a film he was remembering each and

every scene from the moment he met her, then her bringing food for him in the late night forgetting

the consequences of being caught, her pale face after keeping fast and travelling to mandir bare

footed, then getting faint in his arms. Their journey rather her escape to Mumbai her outburst on

him and then breaking down in his arms. He smiled remembering slowly how she became a part

of their family, how Shraon and she irritates him and Swayam with their long hours of shopping,

her cooking food for him then today whatever happened right from him gifting her the red dress to

the beautiful memorable moments spend before moving out for the party, but just then he

remembered something and his forehead skin squeezed in thought. His mind and heart was

arguing about the act he was going to do right then but after a lot of mental tussle his heart won

over his brain and switching off the light of his room he walked towards her room being strongly

determined of what he wanted to do.

As soon as he entered her room tiptoed not ready to disturb her sleep but then he saw the bed

empty, he searched but she was nowhere thinking him somewhere down stairs he turned back to

leave but just then he heard splashing sound of water from the wash room, understanding that

she was awake he decided to leave the room quietly, but the moment he turned the wash

roomknob clicked and he heard her sweet melodic voice.

T- Rey, aap yeha? And why are you going without meeting me? Kuch cahiyaa tha?

Rey turned back being caught; he slowly turned towards her and was immediately drowned in her

mesmerizing beauty, stepping out of the wash room in a baby pink single strap night gown her

waist length some hair scattered here and there and others wrapped in the white soft towel her

angelic face covered with water droplets her pink lips still bearing some water drops, she was

looking ravishing, beautiful yet cute and innocent. Mostly she was looking like a pure pink rose

budding out. Those water droplets on her forehead and specially on her soft lips were tempting

him to take her in his embrace then and there. He was completely lost in her drinking her beauty.

She was constantly speaking her lips were quivering framing different words but he could hear

nothing he was lost in those pink petals all he could feel was an urge to touch those petals with

his lips and taste them but then hearing her melodic voice once again ( may be a little high pitch

this time ) his trance was broken.

T-Kya hua Rey, aap aysa kya dekh rahae hai? Boliya na kuch cahiya tha kya?

R-(In a trance) Ha, tumhae!

T- (Immediately understanding what he said, feeling shy her cheeks turned red she looked here

and there yet from the corner of her eyes she was watching him, there was no change in his

expression he was still staring then not to make the situation awkward she once again said) Kuch

haha aapnae?

R-(Gaining his conscious) Nahii kuchh nahi...

T-aap yeha? Kuch kaam tha?

R- (Once again lost then) Nahii kuch nahii, actually I just came to check on you.

T-Are you sure?

R-Yeah absolutely, Ok now you sleep (he turned back to go, but then he stopped and without

turning back, looking away from her) Actually yes Taani kuch kaam tha mujhae, I thought you

were sleeping so I came to check something, saach kahu I shouldn't have come without your

permission but then I couldn't stop myself.

He didn't get a response but he felt a soft touch on his back, he turned and looked straight in her

eyes:

R- Sorry Taani, actually... I mean... (But he couldn't complete, he was interrupted)

T- Rey aap ko explanation dene ki koi jarurat nahi hai, you can share with me, boliya na kya hua?

Is anything disturbing you?

R-(Cupping her face in his palms) Taani I don't know how I should put this actually I wanted to

take the advantage of your sleeping and (looking down) I wanted to check your back (after a

pause) pulling down the zip of your dress.( He left her cheeks and holding her palms looked

down but her eyes were fixed on him) Taani please mujhae galat maat samajhna (with tears in

his eyes ) I didn't have any wrong intention but from last few months whenever I have seen you

sleeping tum hamesha apnae chest ko bed pe rest karkae you sleep aur aj before going to the

party when I touched your back you hissed in pain, Taani tum cahae kuch bhi kaho but I am right

before going to the party they were painful shrieks not because of giggling. I am sorry Taani...

T-(putting her left palm on his both palms which were holding her right palm) Mujhae saach mai

lagta hai, I have done something very noble in my last birth that's the reason in my this life after

facing so much I got you, bhai and Sharon bhabhi in my life. Aur aap? Mujhae nahi pata main kya

aap ko galat nahi samjhungiee, kiu ki aap kabhi mere liya galat nahi ho saktae, I really trust you, I

trust you blindly, just that it was something I didn't feel like sharing kuch jhakham aysae hotae hai

Rey jo yaad karnae sae bhi dard barta hai.

She smiled and raising herself on her toes she rubbed his tears, he too held her in his arms and

placed a warm kiss on her forehead and wished her Good Night and asking her to sleep, he was

stepping out of her room, but then he frizzed when he heard her voice "Aap kuch daknae ayae

thae" He immediately turned back and looked straight in her eyes trying hard to understand her

thoughts, his eyes had an questioning look, but when she nodded her head positively without

thinking twice he pulled her in his arms and all he could whisper in her ears was "Thank you

Taani, thank you so much for understanding me, for always showing your trust and faith on me, I

promise mai kabhi tumharae trust nahi tutne dunga.
