Part-16

It was almost midnight, Rey slowly held her hand and made her sleep on the bed, he sat beside her and asked her to turn back, but Taani was constantly staring at him, she was just trying to watch his patience, his care and more precisely his love. Taani was more than sure that he loved her but she was not confident about voicing her feelings. The reason was simple she knew she blindly trusted him, can do anything for him, to bring a smile on his face she can cross any limit but still she was not ready to convey her feelings to him. Yes she was afraid because as soon as he sees those wounds his next question will be the reason and was she ready to tell him the reason? She was lost in his eyes and in her thoughts when she felt his fingers on her cheeks; he slowly tucked her hairs behind her ears and then heard his soothing husky voice. His touch brought her back to reality may be gave her a bit confidence.

R-Taani, kya hua? Kaha kho gayii?

T- Nahii kuch nahii

R- Accha, then why are you staring at me? (all the time his fingers were caressing her cheeks)

T-(She smiled Rey could understand it was a forced smile) Kuch nahii., baas aysahiee

R-Tell me Taani, if you are not comfortable, I will not and will wait till Sharon returns.

T- Nahii, woh ... woh mujhae kuch kahana hai

R-Hmnn bolo

T-Aap bhai or bhabhi ko kabhi nahi batayogae

She nodded her head and slowly closed her eyes in approval, Rey switched of the massive lights, the darkness prevailed but he was unable to watch that in the darkness her tears were constantly flowing, slowly he switched on the small bed side lamp by the time her head was dipped in the pillow and her back was facing him, he shifted a little close to her and as soon as he touched the zippier of her dress, his own heartbeats rose, staying so close to her, feeing her soft skin in his fingers and palms yet maintaining distance was becoming impossible. His desires were burning; the more he pulled down the zippier the more his lips were quivering to feel her smooth skin under his lips. Slowly the whole zippier of the night gown was undone; he pulled the cloth material on both the side her bare back was visible, struggling with his emotions and feelings he kept his warm palm on her upper back and the moment she felt his touch, she squeezed the pillow in her small fist, why not? Though still now she had a lot of confusion regarding her feelings to convey to him or not but one thing she was sure she loved him, respected him and had her blind trust on him, from last few days his small touches were creating havoc in her senses. She knew that their small interactions Rey will never disclose to anyone it was some of their own moments. Rey may have thought that she was talking about this but he was unaware about what she exactly meant by asking not to disclose to Swayam and Sharon. Her brain was in a strong denial to accept her own feelings but her heart always craved to be near him to feel his touches, his touches creates those desires which she has not experienced in her 18 years of life before. Her heart craves and longs to be in his arms and hide herself in his protection, she was lost in the war of her heart and her brain because her heart was screaming to just turn back and hug him tight and cry in his chest bringing out the last pain which she was still hiding in her chest, which had the marks in her back, but this time her brain won because of her upbringing she knew that Rey have accepted her with all her past and pain but a man can never accept a girl with the truth she was hiding, she was completely lost when she felt his palms roaming on her upper back and pressing places to examine her exact pain but the more she felt his touch the more she longed for it and more tightly she clutched the material of the pillow in her fist to feel his touch more, to control her longing to hide herself in his chest. But then she hissed in pain and a shriek escaped her throat when Rey exactly pressed the back of her lower abdomen a bit above her hip muscles.

The moment he heard her shriek he was aware, he slowly roamed his fingers being extra careful not to hurt her in the slightest possible way and pressed the lower back slowly, soon he discovered though there were many places where she felt the pain but there was an exact point just above her hip muscles and as soon as he touched there she shrieked in extreme pain, a sharp cry escaped her throat, and he immediately identified the place of pain. He lowered himself and then what he saw was not what he expected. The area was swollen and was dark pinkish blue in colour, he slowly caressed the place with soothing fingers, he so wanted to place a soft kiss above it but then controlling himself he zipped up the nightgown, she was still lying on her chest because she was sure about his next question and was not ready to face it.

Rey kept his palms on her upper back and slowly caressing her back he kept his fingers in between her hair strands, making her feel good then lowering himself placing a kiss on her hairs he murmured in her ears:

R-Taani, bohot dard hua? (She nodded) Sorry, but kya karu I had to check. Please aab turn towards me, (She was still quiet) dekho mere tarafh, (She slowly turned on her back, rather Rey a bit forcefully made her turn and caressing her cheeks) I know aysae sone sae it will pain more, wait (he arranged the pillow and made her sit resting her back on the bed rest supporting on the pillows) Thank you Taani for showing so much trust and don't worry kal hum dotor ke pass jayengae.

T-Doctor? Woh mujhae aysae....(He placed his fingers on her lips, she shivered)

R-Dear it's Mumbai, and we will go to a lady doctor. (Looking straight in her eyes) aab bolo what's the matter Taani? As far as I can understand blood has clotted in that area and swollen up, it's an old wound blood has clotted inside I guess it was not treated the moment you got hurt, aur tumne etnae dino taak mujhae yeah kisiko bataya kiu nahii?(She was looking down, fear gripped her heart, she was facing the pain from months first she ignored as she was used to so many pains but then with time the pain increased she came to Mumbai but still she didn't tell anyone not even Sharon cause the reason was simple because she didn't want to disclose the reason to anyone, Rey was worried seeing hot tears scorching down her cheeks ) Taani why are you crying? it's been more than 2 months you came I know sayad back there no body cared but why didn't you tell after coming here atayo mujhae? ( She was crying more, she was broken how could she confess the bitter truth? Cupping her face in his palms) You are scaring me 'Jaan'..

T- (hearing the word Jaan' once again, she looked up staring at his deep dark orbs ,he calling her Jaan' makes her fee wanted, protected and loved, her heart screamed to open up but this time her brain was heavy on her heart and then with tear full eyes and broken croaked voice) Rey please I have never asked anything from you but today I am asking, please kabhi bhi mujhae reason maat puchna, aap saab kuch jantae ho mere barae mai, and you know I trust you but kuch pain bohot personal hotae hai, and I don't want to share.

R- Ok, you take rest (saying so he started to leave, but then he felt her hold on his wrist, he stopped still looking away from her)

T-Aap gussa ha gayae?

R-(Looking away from her) Nahii Taani, I am not angry, but when you say that you have something personal and that I have no right to enter your personal space, I respect your decision waisae who am I, to know something personal?

T- Please come here (she pulled him and made him sit on the bed, he was still looking away with teary eyes) mera woh matlab nahi tha, Rey aap aysa maat bolo aap jantae ho I trust you. It's all that I can't share this with you.

As soon as she said this she left him and clutching her knees she pulled them near her chest and digging her face on her knees she was bitterly sobbing, Rey felt miserable because now he was sure that the reason was something major and that's the reason she is stopping herself to confront, it was clear to him that it was this which she was talking about not to disclose to Swaron, but he was ready to remove all her pain and whip off all her sufferings and to gift her a happy life and he knew exactly what to tell her or what to do which will make her open up.

R- You know what Taani? Bura lagta hai jab you say that things are personal, I thought that by now nothing is personal and exclusive in between both of us, that we two can share anything, all I thought was we share a great friendship (with a pause) sayad kuch jyada something more than only friendship but once again you proved that I have no right to interfere your personal space. Remember Taani it was you who said some hours back "I promise I will never think about my past, mujhae agae barna hai Rey in all sense kya aap mere saath dogae?" (Keeping his palms on her head) Taani mainae promise kiya tha I will always be there for you but dekho within few hours tumne mujhae etna paraya kar diya that you are crying clutching yourself why Taani? Why can't you share your pain with me? On one hand you trust me so much that you didn't hesitate to allow me to check your back then why can't you trust me with your pain? You know Taani tum mujhae bohot hurt kar rahi ho.

She can never hurt him Rey knew it and that's the reason he said, he so knew she will try her best not to hurt him and force herself to speak which she was trying so hard to hide, and the same happened, she looked up in his dark orbs and within a second she was in his chest clutching him tight around his torso and crying hard, Rey didn't speak instead was rubbing her back slowly yet he was careful not to hurt her, he knew that he succeeded in what he wanted too, to break the boundary which she unwantedly sometimes creates around her to hide her pain and all he needed was to remove it, he knew slowly he will remove the boundary permanently and then when she will be totally free from her past he will confess his love. After crying for some time when her sobs decreased still hiding her face in his chest, "Main aap sae kuchbhi chupana nahii cahatii but I can't see hatred in your eyes for me, aap nahi jantae that you mean a lot to me" He detached her from him and holding her both arms made her look in his eyes, "Tumne sayad kabhi kuch bhi nahii kaha but I know Taani what I mean to you, aur tumhae bhi yeah ahasash hai ki tum mere liya kya mean kartii ho, what you mean to me, bolo am I correct?" She nodded her head, holding her cheeks he continued "then what makes you think that I will hate you, kiu tum apnae aap ko ak barrier mai band karti ho, why can't you share everything to me? Taani kaya tumhae aabbhi bolna parega that nothing can change my opinion about you. Tumhae woh raat yaad hai Mumbai mai tumhari peheli raat hum dono terrace pai thae, when you came to know that I know everything about your past jab tumnae pucha tha, "fir bhi aap mujhae hate nahi karate ho"? Taani that day I didn't answer you but kya mera actions kabhi tumhae feel karwaya that I can ever hate you? Did the last 2 and a half months I couldn't even gain this much faith in your heart?"

Taani kept her palms on his which were now resting on her cheeks, tears were still flowing down making her pale "aysa nahii hai, daar lagta hai, mujhae aapsae duur nahi jana" Pulling her in his chest and holding her tight " mai tumhae kabhi apnae aap sae duur nahi karunga promise but now say it to me, Taani for once and all, today say everything that is still hidden in your heart and you are baring the pain alone, I assure you neither our friendship (she encircled her arms around him, and clutching her a bit tightly) nor our relation, will change, any truth about your past can't effect our relation, the unknown bond we share.

She sat straight departing herself from him and then looking down holding his palms she spoke out the last truth about her past which know one knows not even her bhai Swayam.

T-Rey, my in-laws never wanted Swayam bhai to protect me, to care for me they always accused our relation, unlogo ko lagta tha I share a relation of lust with him, that we both were taking the advantage of the situation, I was doing it to cool down my body warmth and he to taste my body (her hold tightened, Rey had a disgust look on his face, not because he for once lost his trust on her or Swayam but for the humiliation she faced) but bhai ko kuch nahi kahena cahata tha koi, saab ko lagta tha I was attracting him (saying so she looked up and then she mistook his disgusting face) I am really sorry Rey I am sorry I didn't want to tell you please bhai ka koi dosh nahi hai, aysa kuch nahi tha humharae beech bhai ko galat maat samajhna (she was feeling broken that may he too was suspecting their relation, but she stopped when she felt his fingers on her lips)

T- (looked down nodding in denial she was bitterly crying Rey was nervous too then what he heard was not what he ever expected to hear in his wildest dreams) Nahii !! Humharae yeha larkiyo ko sirf ghar mai rehena ka permission hai, men can lust for them even before thinking what relation they share with the girl, that evening bhai went away for some work, he was supposed to stay out the night, late night I heard a knock on my door as soon as I opened Chachaji came and immediately he closed the door forcefully (she was totally broken she clutched his shirt in her palms sobbing hard, by the time reality struck him and maybe he was getting a idea about the words she would say Rey kept her palms loosely on her back, and feeling his touch she broke down ) Rey he tried molesting me, he said that I was near to bhai kiu ki mujhae apnae body warmth ko kaam karna tha and for that bhai was not required he could do it better, pleasure me better ( she was sobbing but then she shut her eyes tight shivering she was frightened with the huge noise, Rey has broken the flower vase from the bed side table he wanted to break the bones of that man who has touched her he was angry beyond limit, he was angry on himself that he couldn't protect his Taani, he forgot that, that time he even didn't knew her but when he felt she was frightened which was never his intention he clutched her tight in his arms pulling her in his lap he pressed her in his chest, he tried to console her but he himself was broken too. After a break he heard her voice " mainae apnae aap ko bachanae ke liya bohot koshish ki, I started throwing things and was shouting for bhai then I pushed him to the wall and then opening the door I ran down my dupaata was not there even my kurtii was torn in places but Rey (pressing herself on him more and while sobbing some unspoken words came out of her lips) Rey... R..e.. aap ki Taani ne apnae aap ko bacha liya I could protect myself (hearing her words that she could save herself from the dirty clutches of her chacha, his nerves cooled a bit he started placing open mouth kisses on her shoulder, neck, on her arms she too reciprocated it was indeed needed there closeness could only remove her pain precisely both were in pain, one has gone through that situation and the other was helpless, then drowning his face on her waist long open hairs he pressed his lips there, her sobs dried slowly)

R- Taani tumhae chote kaysae lagaii did that man ...

T-nahii...while running down I collided with my mother-in-law seeing my dishevel condition she understood and I hugged her seeking protection she took me to my room and then called everybody my father-in-law too came and chachi, seeing me he understood everything and for once I felt I will get justice but then he went near his brother, held him up and then chachajji tilted everything upon me that I seduced him to this extent my father-in-law supported him, then giving me a tight slap my father-in-law took his brother away and the whole night chachi and ma beat me with so many things I don't even know even chachi and ma accused me that I with my seducing nature and character is spoiling bhai and when chachi hit me with an iron curtain rod at my lower back I got that pain and collapsed...

She was not crying any more Rey was quiet too. Anger inside him was boiling, his blood was boiling but then the broken doll in his lap lying lifeless in his chest was the one for which he swallowed his anger, he had to cool himself slowly he departed her and carefully made her rest on the bed giving her back the support of the pillows and sat beside him he ruffled her hair she had closed her eyes she was feeling miserable but then he knew he needed to talk about his quietness may give her wrong meaning.

R-Taani, jobhi hua bhul jayo I know it is hard to forget but remember I am there with you, I promise mai tumhara anae walae jindagie khusiyo sai bhar dunga . (she smiled seeing his care ) but on a serious note tumhae nahi lagta humhae Swayam ko batana cahiyaa. Even we can take legal step against that bas***d. Moreover he has all right to know about her sister as much as I have to know about chotti and after doctor suggest a treatment Swayam and chottii may ask na ki what treatment you are going through?

T- (Immediately she clutched his wrist tight) nahii nahii..please bhai ko nahi waisahii he has ended all relation with his family just because of me and I don't want him to know this he will be broken and shattered he will hate his parents and Krishnajii thae na, he supported me with his blessings I saved myself, mai nahii cahata bhai kuch bhi janae and bhabhi bhi nahi woh bhai sae kuch bhi chupa nahi payengae. Moreover aap jantae ho na truth, its all that matters bhai ko mai dard mai nahi dakh sakta he will be broken Rey and aapne bhi mujhae promise kiya hai ki you will not tell anybody.

R- (Smiling a little to hide his broken state, still ruffling her hair) Taani can I ask you something?

T-Hmnn

R-Taani is there anything more that you are still hiding from me? All I want that after today there will be no hidden truth in your life at least from me. (Taani nodded her head in approval still he asked) saach bol rahi ho?

T-Aap mujh pe bharosa nahii karate? Aap ko bikul mujpar trust nahi hai (holding his hand which was resting above her chest)

R- tum jantii ho that I trust you and you know any truth can't effect me but all I want ki there will be nothing hidden between us. Forgetting about all consequences tum aj ke baad kuch bhi nahi chuapayogie mujsae, you should know Taani I will always be there right by your side holding your hand and I guess tum bhi yahi cahate ho?

T- Kuch nahii chupa rahii hu, jo kuch bhitha today I said it all, maai aap sae kuch chupana nahii cahatii thi I thought many times to tell you about this dard roj baar raha tha, I couldn't sleep on my back I wanted to tell you but I knew that you would ask me the reason but I was afraid mujhae aap ke aankho mai apnae liya nafrat bardast nahi hota...

R-(Lowering himself totally on her) Tumhae aabbhi lagta hai Jaan' I will misunderstand you misjudge you, tumnae kabhi mere aankho mai apnae liya kuch nahi dekha? Do my eyes reflect hatred or something else Taani? Bolo...

She looked down avoiding his question he too didn't insist he knew that she loves him and that's the reason she thought he may not accept her or hate her after knowing she has faced such a cruel torture but she didn't knew if she was molested in true sense then also his love for her wouldn't change. Avoiding his question "woh aap bhai ko nahi batayangae na..." putting his arms below her neck and cocooning herself in him "Tumhae lagta hai mai kabhi apna promise fulfil nahi karunga specially if I have promised you anything, you trust me na, I will not let anyone to know anything, but you have to promise me, kal tum mere saath Doctor ke pass jayogie, and whatever she say you have to listen and even you have to listen everything I say till your wounds heal up. and regarding treatment and all I will handle" She nodded her head in approval " ok aab sleep and don't step down and hurt yourself I will tell kaka in the morning to clear the glass pieces of the vase" detaching himself tugging her in the bed pulling the blanket on her when he was about to leave he heard her voice "kya aap aj raat mere pass rahogae?" He looked deep in her eyes, trying to read her emotions he knew though she may look calm she was shattered from inside and needed his warmth and protection and who was he hiding he couldn't ask her but didn't he need the same comfort and warmth only which she could give him they were just meant to be each other's and then he said "Are you sure Taani?" She continued looking at him he lowered himself "Taani this is a single bed, let's go to our room (after a pause) I mean my room" she nodded in approval he lifted her in his arms and she locked her arms around his neck and kept on staring at him, both were staring at each other cause both of them were now more than sure about their feelings. That incident, he finding out her wound, precisely the exact reason of it and the confrontation which Taani thought may have pulled them miles apart but she was proved terribly wrong, The pain she went through and the pain he felt in his heart was same and it has brought them more closer to each other there was no hindrance no hidden truth and it was now only a factor of time when both would confess to each other.

He took her to the room slowly landed her on bed and then taking a pain reliever ointment from the drawer he slowly turned her back, neither he hesitated nor he thought even for once to take her permission, why should he? He knew she belong to him and he has all right to heal her pain, once again pulling down the zippier of her dress he slowly started applying the ointment on her swollen area, for Taani she was totally comfortable and she didn't even try to object as she knew deep in her heart that she belongs to him and he has all right on her, she trust him with her soul she respected him, she knew she loved him as much as he loves her and now her heart was ready to confess, there was no war between her heart and brain both were ready and both gave her equal permission to convey her love for him. Later on both drifted to sleep in each other's arms.

I don't know friends what is wrong in this story? Those who read regularly, bug me whole week for updates it make me feel good, your long comments are something which encourages me but still day by day likes are decreasing, so please be a little thoughtful from morning I am righting skipping my lunch for the update because I know if I miss the Sunday whole week I will not be able to update so after this I can expect some more likes and comments from the silent readers.
