I guess mujhe explaint nahi karna hoga who we are talking about, right? ISHANI RANVEER VAGHELA.
MATSH attracted me because it wasn't the boring silly sort of serials which rule Indian tv. When I joined the forum I could see so many comments predicting the future story last year. However, the way this show turned out to be was nice and thankfully completely different from the horrible predictions made on the forum. I guess the predictors too were happy.
The show told the story of a guy, an unrequited love story. Story as a whole wasn't new but presentation was unique. We all loved that...until Ranveer got shot.
Post that, we got Ishani's point of view. I was never happy with that for some reasons, perhaps it meant the show would lose the cause I started watching it, but it could still be acceptable had they given us different things.
Ishani's point of view could have very easily shown her love. I know they did, but it was mingled with horrifying sights of sometimes brainless Ranveer and it made me look like the show was trying to please the TRP aunties by showing a bechari bahu whose husband tortures, hurts her, whose sasu maa hates her, whose life is miserable as damned hell. The rest things were completed by having a saut and now poor girl is going to go through so much torture again. How amazing!
The problem wasn't that they showed it from HER pov, it was that they went all the cliched ways to justify her love. Why not show, even NOW, fighting for the man you love? Why's she here and just making the vamp jealous? Why not show her desires, her burninp passion for the man she loves? Why only go to the most disgusting of the ways to please the TRP aunties who don't even care about this show?
P.S. Sorry for my lame poetry. The new segments have irritated the hell out of of me and just wanted to share what I've been feeling since last few months about this show and somewhere hoping they give us Ranveer's point of view so that it might become watchable again.
