"Don't dream your life...Live your dreams..."
For a couple of fans who have been waiting to meet their actor hero, Kunal Karan Kapoor, this week saw their dreams turn real. Miracles do happen.
Kunal Karan Kapoor's birthday, every year, has always been no less than a festival...Fans across the globe get together, months in advance planning for their big day, August 22nd. This year too, the fervour was no less. Weeks of planning saw the grand finale on 21st as they celebrated his birthday, a day in advance. A frenzy...maddening few weeks...generating ideas, consolidating, getting permissions, gathering funds...so on...
It was a rare moment by any standards, as the actor reached his sets the morning of 21st August, much to his wonder, to be greeted by dainty flowers white and yellow from the gate all the way to his makeup room. Fans who could make it to the sets (from different parts of India) wished him with lilies and orchids on behalf of other fans showering their love and adulation.
The camaraderie between the actor and his fans was in evidence as they stood together for pictures ; their hearts skipping quite a few beats...
Donned in a bright yellow kurta shooting for a special occasion in the show...Kunal ensured that the fans on the sets are in comfort and are well taken care of. The day has just begun.
A huge 3 tier dark chocolate cake came in around noon, the crew and fans waiting for the actor to get a break from his hectic shoot schedule to begin the celebrations. Finally the moment saw the entire cast and crew gathering to wish Kunal on his birthday, sharing the joy and elation. Wishes poured in from all across the globe...if...
If only time could stop still...
And gifts ? A hamper of 33 books from all genre, a contribution from fans across the world over ; individual gifts from India and abroad ; a website dedicated to him launched by a fan group ; an album containing his journey on TV, are to name a few!

Flanked by fans, the cast and crew of Doli Armaanon Ki, posing for pictures...amidst frenzied shoot schedules, it was a day to cherish and reminiscence, truly goes to show what a celebrity actor Kunal Karan Kapoor has turned out to be and what a lovely world of fandom he commands.
