In Razia Sultan, Sunila will play the mother of Altunia (Rohit Purohit) by name Rukhsar Begum.

This role will be quite a challenge for the actress as she will be needed to play a Queen as well as a beggar.

As per the back story, Rukhsar Begum would have been the Queen of Bhatinda, but would have been reduced to live a life of a beggar due to the ill-doings of King Iltumish (Sooraj Thapar).

The track ahead will trace the journey of Rukhsar from being a Queen to a beggar, and then her fight back to become a Queen again.

When contacted, Sunila who has been part of shows like Jhansi Ki Rani, Grihasti earlier, told Tellychakkar.com, "Yes, I have started shoot for Razia Sultan. My character will be that of Altunia's mother who is very independent and strong in all senses."

so my dad was right...he was royal...wish history had told his story also properly... but looks like Altunia's name only exists in history coz of Razia. And here i was thinking tht old lady from yesterday was Yaquts mom 🤣

That means Altunia and Yaqut are not connected by enemity kya ?

they shouldnt have shown Yaqut like this really. Chup chaap slave banate usko...why complicate matters like this yaar.

Ama real altunia was not from bhatinda he was razia's cousin from her mom's side ye show walon ne use kya bna diya pta nhi

but Mirza ne toh kaha tha ki his parents are dead..!?

so dekha jaye toh Mirza Razia ka dushman hua!?
