JOHNNY GADDAAR not to release in UK
Adlabs' JOHNNY GADDAAR, due for release this Friday, will not reach the cinemas in the UK. Adlabs took the decision to avoid bringing the Sriram Raghavan directed film, after it was issued an 'A' certificate by the CBFC (Central Board of Film Certification) in India.
An 'adults only' film usually does not get a universal exhibition certificate in the UK. Since JOHNNY GADDAAR does not boast of star names and is a youthful film, the absence of youngsters in the audience wouldn't bode well for the film's performance at the box-office, it was felt.
