I agree, but more so than Shaurya, my heart went out to Diya.

Rain has such a symbolic meaning for her. Earlier, rain used to mean a moment of joy and exhilaration. Then when she got raped, it transformed into something ugly and horrific. But she was still able to go back to that time when she was happy and innocent. To be able to have that one moment of peace, is absolutely remarkable.

Plus the track, Abhi Mujh Mein Kahin, is absolutely perfect. To be able to find peace and inner strength after all the struggles she is facing, is commendable. To be able to find a will to survive even in the smallest and purest of moments like a rainfall... it made me so proud of her.

It was a truly beautiful moment for Diya and I am so glad that Shaurya was able to convince her to take part in it.
