With the leap of Season 4 starting and in addition to the forum rules that we have in place, below are rules which would be implemented with immediate effect.
Pre-leap Characters & Comparison
Discussion on characters that have been part of the show would be allowed however, the discussions shall limited to the characters only.
With a new season, enters new casts and new characters. At no point, willcomparison between actors of the current season and previous be allowed on this forum which includes on-screen/offscreen as it would ultimately lead to arguments. However, comparison between the character will be allowed under constructive criticism and not by the means of proving one is better than the other or bashing one to glorify another. This shall also apply in the TRP discussion threads.
With Surbhi being retained and having new leads, topics like 'Who had better chemistry.. etc will be closed right away and members will be given warnings based on the post made.
Kindly differentiate the difference between discussions on the characters and the actors that is playing the characters.
AT's & Discussion on Past Seasons
With new leads and new couple from the latest season, discussion on the latest season and its characters would have more prominence on the forum. With that being said, since SaaHil/SeHaan/ShaNat is now in the past and not part of the current season, discussions on SaaHil/SeHaan/ShaNat shall be limited to the their respective AT's instead of the main forum.
Any new projects or updates on actors who used to be part of the show shall be posted and limited to their respective ATs.
Do take note that any ATs made in the forum is closely monitored by the DTs and is obligated to the forum rules. Do not mis-use the ATs as a platform to discuss the show's current storyline, character or indulge in mocking the current characters assuming no one would know or read. Doing such act would result strict action being taken on the members involved and the AT would face the penalties as stated in the Rules & Regulation for Appreciation Thread.
In addition to that, a separate thread would be made by the DTs where all discussions on Season 2 & 3 could be made in the said thread. Any standalone discussion threads made on Season 2/Season 3 would be merged to this thread.
Criticism/Bashing/Name Calling
With the entry of new casts/leads, members would be allowed to only discuss both positive and negative views only in terms of acting and in a constructive manner. If you don't like a character, refer them in a way that it doesn't offend anyone. Any sort of mocking, sarcasm, name calling, mocking physical appearance or age of any actor/character/jodis or using curse words against the actors will result in direct WL rise. Furthermore, the said posts will be deleted instantly from the forum. Just because you are supporting one actor, that does not give right to bash or mock anyone indirectly. The same applies to the PH and Gul Khan where name calling Gul and bashing Gul/PH (4Lions) would not be tolerated.
Fan Groups
Members are always reminded to respect other's views as favorites differ from people to people and members need not to engage in any demeaning activities to prove point that their favorites are better than others favorite. In any discussions, members should know where to draw a limit and not make posts to stereotype fan groups or make posts just to rile up the other fan groups and or engage in any bashing for a tit-for-tat reply.
Passing remarks to malign a fangroups or stereotyping the supporters is NOT allowed and this has been explicitly stated in the forum rules. DO NOT assume that members are liking one pair/character because they hate another. STOP judging or deciding the reason behind a person liking a character/pair. You ship the character you like and others ship the character they like. Everyone shall sail their own boat.
