So, Armaan did yesterday what at least I feared the most....between his love and his sensitive ego... he fell prey to his ego by accepting Angie Princess' challenge who offered her sister as a bait to catch Armaan on the weak spot.
We very well know that besides loving all humanity (womankind require special reference heređ), our handsome stallion loves two people more than anything in the world - Riddhima and "himself". đł.....Armaan's state of mind and heart is rather in a ping-pong position right now. On one side, his heart is suffering schizophrenic bouts with him osciallting between lovelorn looks to Riddz and driving her up the walls to assert what he feels. On the other side, is his strong egoistic mind that has ruled him and his decisions all his life.....so, yesterday, Angie created a scoffing monster in front of him.... challenging not his heart, not his mind... but his ego ...."Fine dude! If you think that you are so damn cool, go woo my sister and trust me, she'll not fall into your trap."....The egotist in Armaan brushed past the lover in him and confidently said ," No Way! I can get any girl I want...anyone!" ...Apart from being the love of his life, Riddhima also became a challenge and this double-wedged weapon often causes more than you can handle....
Now, Armaan will put aside his love-lorn puppy dog , get into the "I-Am-Gonna-Getcha-While-I've-Got-You-In-Sight" mode and yes, he has the charms and gifts to enamour a girl within ten days if he decides to... So, Riddhima may not have much choice except admitting that she does indeed love Armaan... and then?
If Armaan is not faking it internally, the bet thing will be revealed....Angie keeps no swords hidden. Then, what is Armaan going to do? If he has really fallen hard for her, how in the world is he going to make her trust him again? How is he going to face Riddz, his friends and above all himself? đ....all his ego and self-hood cannot heal a wounded heart. This is a mistake that he will regret bigtime.
Armaan is a genuinely good human-being but is a victim of his own strengths , if you understand what I mean to say. He needs to understand that everything is not taken in the humourous vein in life....he, who himself has suffered such a bad phase with that whole blame game and prison thing. We don't put people's emotions in a win-lose game. It's insensitive and that's not Armaan.
The problem doesn't lie in the fact that we betray and deceive people....the problem is that it takes them a whole lifetime to recover from these setbacks. Riddhima is a very tender woman and a heartbreak is the last thing she deserves. Anyway, let's see how long this "Chiffon & Champagne" world lasts.Armaan is letting his mind rule his heart and it's really sad.
As for Anjali, well, you have to hand it to this girl - she really knows how to pull switches and when! I find her rather scary...it seems almost as if she has no weaknesses at all....her arrogance, her polished aggression and her ability to gain control over people is rather chilling.
