Rakhi Sawant and Abhishek Awasthi visited the sets of the popular television serial Baa Bahu Aur Baby. The show will be celebrating Ganpati and Rakhi will be a part of this special telecast. Jamnadas Majethia who plays Arvind and is one of the producers of the show says that it made perfect sense to include Rakhi as a part of the show this week.
"We were asked to promote Nach Baliye through our show by calling any couple and then we asked them that we can accommodate Rakhi's performance in our show as we are going to celebrate Ganpati and Rakhi is Marathi so we can easily pen down the script for her."
Majethia adds that the viewers will get to see a very different kind of Rakhi this time. "We could not utilize her stylish statements and fire brand speeches in the show. However we are going to show Rakhi's emotional side. Nobody knows that Rakhi is very emotional person. She is wonderful person to work with. It is going to be surprise for BBB's family member."
So how was Rakhi on the sets?
"Since she is Marathi the cast members were talking to her in Marathi and she was replying to them in Gujarati. We had great fun! I have worked with Rakhi before this. She is not at all argumentative. She was saying that wherever I go people always expect me to dance. And so here we have given her a nice aarti sequence and she was really happy because of that."
"She was so overwhelmed that even though our shooting schedule was supposed to be 10 to 2 she stayed till almost 4pm. She was enjoying every bit of that time! When she entered on the sets she recognized every actor. She told Baa, Minakshi, and Gattu that yesterday only I see your show and you guys are too good," adds the actor.
The episode featuring Rakhi and Abhishek goes on air tomorrow at 10pm.
