Never been a big fan of Salman Khan. I guess it's because of my unhealthy obession with Shah Rukh Khan. Yet, I have probably managed to see most of Bhai's films. From Maine Pyaar Kiya to Maine Pyaar Kyu Kiya, I have loyally devoured his movies => crying, laughing, and a little bit of both at times. I probably stopped getting excited about his movies when he shifted from comedy to more serious topics. I felt he wasn't the actor that I knew and loved.

When I went to the theater to watch Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I was expecting 3 hours of torture and seriousness. However, that was not the case at all.

As soon as Bhai made an entry on screen, people started clapping and whistling => I was shocked because this was happening in the United States! Never have I seen an actor receive this much appraisal in the cinema hall. It made me realize the reach of Bhai's popularity all over the world.

Onto the movie, I was either laughing or crying the whole time. His expressions and acting had me in awe. I really admire the way he managed to make me feel a million different emotions in a span of 2 hours and something minutes.

The same thing can be said about Kick. I felt that Kick was also one of his stronger movies when it comes to heavier topics. Or it might just be that I am biased about the Salman- Nawazuddin duo.

Either way, hats off to Salman Khan for making an entry into my heart again <3

Glad U liked BB & Kick . And I am happy that U gave urself a chance to see an Actor in Salman which usually here on this Forum some neglects just coz They dislike or hate him . Salman is an amazing natural Actor , it's just that From few yrs he changed his genre ..But Now again he has changed his genre towards emotional side . So I am sure he will make u his Fan from his acting in his upcoming Projects also .

Your journey is EXACTLY like mine. I was always more into SRK's kind of cinema (SUCKER for his romance!!) but I watched quite a bit of Salman till MPKK and then I suddenly lost interest. His last movie as the main lead I watched was Jaaneman and haven't seen him since his cameo in Saawariya/guest appearance in OSO. And then comes Bajrangi Bhaijaan (which I sadly couldn't watch in the theatre so still longing to see Bhai on big screen) and I am back to rooting for him. One BB is all it took but I never really stopped liking HIM per se. Just the films he did weren't my taste (like SRK now).

Bajrangi Bhaijaan is a feel good movie..people in India/Pakistan as well as over seas have loved the movie.some members here just want to bring out negativity in everything and anything related to Salman Khan 🥱 it's the script,dialogues,beautiful locations and of course the whole cast specially the love between Salman and harshali that is making everyone's heart melt 👍🏼

BB is a good movie. But .. I tried to watch kick two times ...couldn't watch more than 30 mins both the times. I still don't understand the rave about kick.

Nice... Even He won my heart again like Prem did a decade ago!
Loved the last scene when he was so emotional. I never liked Salman crying on screen but this time I cried with him!

Same here. Used to love watching SRK's movies. His movies don't interest me anymore.

I dont know if I should call myself a Salman fan, because I truly dont follow him as much as his genuine and ardent fans do. But yeah, if there is anyone I like in BW, it is Salman. I like him for the person he is, be it good or bad. I think I can relate to him in many ways, which I can't say for the other celebrities. Also, he was my first crush in BW. Life comes a full circle! Ha ha ha!

I watch movies of all stars (with the exception of just a few) if the review is good and if I have the time.

I've only selectively watched Salman's movies (just like I did with the other actors' movies), infact only those which had a decent review.

I rarely watch movies in the theatre but am glad I decided to see BB on the big screen rather than at home. Absolutely loved his acting. His expressions as Pawan were spot on. Fabulous direction by Kabir. A beautiful angel like Harshali and an amazing performance, as always, by Nawaz.

I absolutely loved Kick as well. I think SK was very good even in that. I also loved him as Chulbul Pandey. He was fabulous!

I've not watched Ready, Wanted etc, so I dont know how he was and what I missed (Lol!) , but loved him in Dabangg, Bodyguard, Kick, BB, ETT recently.

It's the reverse with SRK. I used to wait for his movies earlier, but in the recent past, the only movies of his which I liked were CDI, MNIK. As you can see, it was quite sometime ago. Also, SRK seems to have lost that spark. There's something missing in his movies of late.

And I disagree with those who say Salman cannot act, dance. I love his acting, love his funny dances. Ofcourse, like many here have already stated, his choice of movies until a couple years back were not interesting to me, so I gave them all a miss. But now that he's back again, am eagerly awaiting for my most fav. character of his, that of "Prem" in "Prem Ratan Dhan Paayo".
