Thank you all for making my Filmfare Injustice polls a hit last weekend😳. People were mad at SRK's multiple wins 😡and clearly rued Bhai's Dabangg loss😭. For the ladies, Kajol got many evil looks😡 for her shocking K3G victory over Tabu's National Award winning performance Chandni Bar😭

This weekend I present you the next set of polls. 😊

We have good performances each year, some years more than the other. Award ceremonies nominate actors in categories but sometimes we know it already has a clear deserving front runner (ex: Hrithik Jodhaa Akbar Roshan (2008) or Rani BLACK Mukerji (2005) or Deepika RamLeela Padukone (2013)) who will clench the trophy while others are merely space fillers. 😆

However, there are a few years, where there are many great performances across the board (higher number than average). Regardless of who won, you really feel good for the year gone by because you CONNECTED with those performances.

I am presenting you my shortlist of 5 years within the last 15 that I witnessed an unusual OVERFLOW OF NOTEWORTHY performances by Actresses (leading/supporting roles).

Please take the time to scroll through the list below and for a few secs, think about the actresses in these movies and how they connected with you through their work in that specific year. Then pick your final selection of THE BEST YEAR FOR ACTRESSES.

I think I was most satisfied in 2012 and 2014...hard to pick one

Its difficult to choose.

2012 was a very good year of nice films.

2001 was also a very good year for actresses considering it was 14 years ago.


But 2015 has been very good. TWMR, Piku, NH10, DLKH etc received appreciation.
Another good thing is that sick films like Roy, Tevar flopped at the box office 😆

Plus many upcoming films like Bajirao Mastani, Katti Batti etc look promising.

So, its 2015 for me.

Edit : I think you should add Harshali Malhotra's name in 2015 list. She was the star of the film.
