Here we have top five families from Colors TV which are obviously not blood related but celluloid related. They spend time together on sets of their respective daily soaps and while they pretend to live like a family on screen, they turn into one unknowingly. We have all sorts sane, insane, huge, small and quirky famlies on the list.
The Bhardwajs of Sasural Simar Ka - The king size family headed by Mataji (Jayati Bhatia) have three generations staying together in the Bhardwaj house. With bahus and chachas and chachis in the house, it is always a crowded affair for them. From fighting with the conmen or husband snatchers to plotting against devils and witches SSK family has seen it all. We have come across the Bhardwaj family praying at the Matarani temple of their house quite a few times in sadness and happiness. May you all stick together forever!
Thapki Pyaar Ki household - Thapki Pyaar Ki family is a recent addition to the Colors entourage. Two families - Pandeys and Chaturvedis form part of this daily soap. Pandeys are rich socialites who own a news channel while Chaturvedis are a simple bunch living in a middle class set up. The bond they share is very real when they protect and support their daughter Thapki who stutters while she talks. We expect a lot more msuh when Chaturvedis and Pandeys will come together after the protagonists marrage affair!
