This is the first OS in the series and is based on the Laal Ishq sequence. The background of the OS is that at some point after the Shravan Pooja, Mantu and Amaya confess of their love to each other and they still work in the same office. The strike happens and Amaya leaves with Rudra instead of Mantu but he understands. Mantu sees the guys teasing Amaya on his way home and the fight happens and Amaya breaks up the fight and forces Mantu to go home.
Do let me know how you like it/hate it.
Cheers,

He had never felt this kind of a nervous energy before where he couldn't sleep, couldn't eat, couldn't do anything at all. It was a constant state of excitement and longing. A longing to see her, be with her, hear her non-stop blabber, watch her face light up as she smiled. How was it possible that she had seemed to take over his heart and mind so completely? When had it happened? How? The woman in question, however, seemed to be fast asleep. She must be tired, he thought. She was hurt so bad and yet, she'd spent all day working away. He examined his own hand. He had gotten hurt too during the fight with the goons who had teased Amaya. He was still partly mad at her for accepting a ride from Rudra even though he had waited in office for her to finish all her work just so he could see her safely home. But he understood her reasons. Their family had recently reunited and her Nanaji was old-fashioned in his thinking. He wouldn't approve of his granddaughter being dropped home by a guy who was a stranger to him. Of course, he did not know yet that the stranger was his to-be grandson-in-law. There was time yet for that revelation. He would have to wait for that day. But right now, he was finding it really difficult to wait for morning to come so he could see Amaya again. Well, he didn't have to. He could go see her right now, he decided as he tossed aside the covers and headed out the door, careful not to wake Chiklu.
As he climbed onto the balcony next to Amaya's room, he felt nervous and thrilled. Thankfully, no one had spotted him. Not that he had anything to be afraid of. He loved her, to the point of madness and this certainly was one of the craziest things he had ever done, he thought as he stepped into her room. She lay curled up under the bedspread, possibly cold from the downpour outside, fast asleep. He walked over to the side of the bed. The bedspread covering her, covered part of her face as well. He reached to move it from her face so he could see her. A sudden gust of wind accomplished the feat for him. But before he could see her, the power went out. He crouched down to her side and gently moved a lock of hair that had fallen onto her face. She looked so peaceful and angelic as she slept, it made his heart squeeze in his chest. He reached out and caressed her cheek gently and she stirred in her sleep. Her eyes fluttered open for a second and she smiled when she saw him. Then she closed her eyes, cuddled her bedspread tighter and went back to sleep. A quick second later, her eyes flew open and realizing that she was about to scream, Mantu covered her mouth with his hand as she sprang up.
"Shhh... Its just me!" he told her frantically. Her big eyes bulged and muffled noises came from where he held his hand over her mouth. "What?" he asked her puzzled. She pulled his hand off of her mouth and said in an urgent, whispering tone, "Mantu! What are you doing here? At this time of the night? What if someone sees you? How did you come in?" Mantu placed his finger on her lips again to quieten her. "You talk so much! Calm down! No one saw me coming and no one will know. Relax!" he said. When he felt her relax, he took his finger off of her lips. "But what are you doing here at this time of the night? And that too in this rain?" she asked again. "I couldn't stay away from you," he replied honestly and Amaya's heart melted. She smiled at him. "Wait here," she told him as she got from the bed. "Where are you going?" he asked catching hold of her hand as she started to walk away. "To get you a towel. You are drenched to the skin! You'll fall sick," she said. "That's okay. I'll get wet on my way out too. Doesn't matter. Come, sit with me," he said. "But Mantu," Amaya tried to argue. "Can you not listen to one thing I say without arguing?" he asked her. "Okay fine," Amaya said as she plopped onto the bed next to him.
Mantu sat staring at her and Amaya shifted uncomfortably under his intense gaze. "What are you looking at?" she asked. "What magic have you done on me that I can't stay away from you for a minute?" he asked. Amaya smiled at that. "What can I say? I am just super special," she said in her typical fashion. "That you are. Super special," he admitted. And then as an after thought, he added, "Super specially mad." "You think I am mad? How mean!" Amaya said as she grabbed a pillow and hit Mantu with it. "Arey?" Mantu protested as he tried to ward off her hitting, He caught hold of her hand and tackled her till they fell onto the bed, Amaya trapped beneath him. The awareness of their proximity made them forget their surroundings. Their hands and eyes locked and their breaths hitched. Amaya swallowed nervously as she followed Mantu's intense gaze roaming over her face and settling on her lips. As he started to lean in, Amaya closed her eyes and waited with bated breath. But just before his lips touched hers, he moved away.
Amaya sat up feeling shy, awkward, embarrassed and somewhere in a teeny weeny corner of her heart, disappointed that Mantu hadn't kissed her. And yet, she knew why and she respected him all the more for it, because if he had kissed her, she would have been powerless to stop him.
"I should leave," Mantu said, raking a nervous hand through his dripping wet hair. Amaya nodded slightly. As he headed towards the balcony door, Amaya sat at the edge of her bed worrying her lower lip. "By the way.." he said as he reached the door. Amaya turned to look at him. "No matter how super specially mad you are, I want you for life," he told her with utter sincerity before winking at her and disappearing over the rails of the balcony. Amaya smiled a happy smile and buried her face in her pillows. There was no way she would get anymore sleep tonight.

Hey Neet đđ you're such a wonderful writer đ awesome OS! Wish this scene would've been somewhat like this...I have a request plz write an OS or SS on Mantu finding out the truth about witch Uma and him throwing her out of his life đ
Hello everyone!
So I am on a roll! đ This OS is on the Manmohana scene.
I have to admit, I am not too happy with the way it turned out. I started off writing it a different way and did not like that and I changed it to this but still didn't like it but kept writing anyway. I promise if I ever get inspired enough to write a different version of this, I will write it and post it. For now, my apologies for this messy stuff.
Do let me know how you like it/hate it. Because this one isn't up to the mark, I will gladly accept joothe-chappal and tamatar for this one. No rotten eggs though please, I am a vegetarian!
Cheers,
Neet

"Amaya! Can you get more ghee for the Pooja from the store room?" Sneha instructed Amaya and Amaya left the hall to head to the store room. Her eyes kept searching for Mantu but he was nowhere to be. When he came in for the Pooja, Amaya had been busy helping Sneha with the arrangements for the Pooja. Mantu had come by to say hi to Sneha and had said a formal hi to her as well. He'd been signaling her to go meet him outside but she had always been in the middle of doing something else and had to refuse. She knew he was upset because of that and now he was nowhere to be seen. Could he have left? As she walked towards the store room, Amaya tried calling Mantu's number. Surprisingly, she heard the phone ringing from somewhere close by. As she walked towards where the sound was coming from, she was taken aback when a hand pulled her into a room. She was about to scream but Mantu's hand covered her mouth effectively silencing her scream. "It's me! Don't scream!" he told her as he took his hand off of her mouth. "Mantu! What are you doing here?" she asked. "Will you ask me this same question every time you see me, Amaya? I have a feeling you will ask me this same question when I turn up at our wedding!" Manttu said. Amaya giggled at that and Mantu smiled at her. "Oh Madam! I am angry at you. Why were you giving me so much attitude earlier?" he asked, trying hard to look angry. "Arey baba! I wasn't giving you any attitude. I genuinely had a lot of work," Amaya tried to explain. "Yeah right! As if I have no other work to do. Even I have a Pooja at my house tomorrow and I still came here for you, didn't I?" Mantu said. "Okay! I am sorry. Please forgive me!" Amaya said. "Nah!" Mantu replied. "Mantu.. I've said sorry na. Please? Please? How many times do you want me to say sorry?" Amaya asked. "I don't want your sorry," Mantu replied crossly. "Then tell me, what should I do so that you forgive me?" Amaya asked, "Shall I do sit ups again?" Mantu shook his head as an idea formed in his mind. "That was the punishment for a friend. Not for a lover," he said before asking, "Will you do whatever I say?" "Yes! I promise. Just stop being angry at me and forgive me," Amaya said. Mantu's face broke into a naughty smile as he came closer to Amaya.
"What are you doing? And why are you smiling as though you are up to some mischief?" she asked. Mantu simply smiled some more as he backed Amaya against the wall. Amaya tried to duck him and escape but he caught hold of her hand just in time and pulled her right back. "You have promised me, Amaya Mathur that you will do anything that I ask you to. Now there is no backing out," Mantu reminded her. "What.." Amaya cleared her throat a little, "What.. Do you... I mean.. what is that you want me to do?" she asked, his proximity playing havoc on her senses and the way he was looking at her making her heart do cartwheels in her chest. Just then, Amaya heard Neeti's voice as she sang "Manmohana.." Amaya wanted to tell Mantu that the Pooja was about to start but when he was so close to her, she found it difficult to form a coherent thought, much less get it past her lips. He lifted a finger and gently moved a lock of hair that had fallen on her face. As he tucked the hair behind her ear, his fingers traced her delicate earlobe, down her jawline, to her chin before resting on her lips. Amaya looked at Mantu wide-eyed as he took the finger and placed it on his lips. Amaya blushed crimson as she realized he was asking for a kiss and she struggled once again to free herself from his hold. The lines that Neeti was singing right then seemed to come straight from Amaya's heart.
Main hoon tumhari, hai tumhara yeh mera jeevan
Dekhoon tujhi ko main, dekhoon koi darpan
Bansi ban jaoongi inn hothon ki ho jaoongi
Inn sapnon se jal thal hai mera mann angan
Carried away by the lyrics of the song, Amaya tip toed and leaned it and pressed her lips to his. It lasted but a fraction of second before she pulled away and before either of them could react, she bolted out the door, leaving a surprised and awestruck Mantu behind.
