chances are that bhabhis told some lie

they must have cooked up some story

may be they got fake proofs too against her

so seth ji has to believe them

Will have to watch if something happened in party b/w Govind Seth n Rajmata which irked Bauji & then seeing his daughter like this, he couldn't control himself

And most likely Bhabhi's must have played a role in this.

And Bauji slapping Gayatri is justified to a great extent in normal situation too bcoz no father will tolerate her daughter seeing like this & Gayatri has her own share of fault in this.

Even when she will find the drink bitter, still she will keep drinking it bcoz she is too much into Ranaji, so perhaps a slap was required to tell her that everything she does is not 100% right.

Actually i think she wont be aware of the drink having alcohol, but when she will find the drink bitter, perhaps she should have doubted it which clearly she won't. Sometimes we do certain things in emotions without realizing right or wrong.

Personally I m ok with Bauji slapping her as in those days parents used to be very strict. Bauji has progressive thinking n has given lot of freedom to Gayu but freedom has its limits.

Vaise in today's time we will get see a lot of girls drinking, may be parents r not aware but many girls do drink in today's time.

Anyways Having said all this i always love to watch D in talli scenes. She really does them beautifully, may be kaafi practice hai 😆
