The title of the post is Kabir's Ananya. Does she exist in Kabir's world ? I will say yes because ever since the tornado has blasted Kabir in the form of Shreya, she is the one who has made him face her headlong. Ananya has stayed strong even though somewhere deep within she feels some sort of insecurity with the ex returning in her lover's life. She cannot divulge this to her Mom and understandably so. How many of us will discuss things to our dear ones fully well knowing that it will lead them to stress ? I completely agree with her on this. She must be thinking that her Mom has consented to this relationship albeit with great difficulty and why make her think otherwise on her good opinion of Kabir ?

She has been facing rebukes and unnecessary provocation from Malvika from days on end not to forget the chip fiasco. Many a times she has retaliated but deep within she must be fearing about her job too considering that Malvika is after all the owner's daughter. it is not easy to face all these taunts day in and day out and remain sane at work. And now her childhood friend Richa. I think this has affected Ananya the most even more than Shreya's arrival. The CVs have us stumped every now and then with these revelations - first about Anurag, then Richa being Ananya's childhood buddy and then ofcourse the all important red hanky. It is so hurting to lose a friend with whom you have shared so many years, particularly your growing up years. Richa's attitude about the relationship has crossed all boundaries. I was just watching some initial episodes and realised that she was there for Ananya in her best and most needed moments. I bet it was not easy for Ananya to tackle Richa - so she maintained her silence for quite a long period listening to her harsh words about Kabir and only when she could not take it any further, she gave it back to her. Richa distanced completely away from her after this showdown and it only shows her high handed thinking that she can lecture her continuously but Ananya cannot counter her. I really felt bad for Ananya because it must have been so hurting for her to see her buddy beside her acting like a total stranger.

And then not to forget the whole promotion issue and the pics being revealed. Ananya was gracious enough to feel happy for her friend and went out of her way in gifting the chocolate. When her Mom advised her to mend fences with Richa she set aside her ego and lent her the olive branch but there too she faced insinuations. She has not divulged about Richa to Kabir even though this has been going on for a long time and this surprised Kabir too. So I think we need to give the girl a break for all that she has undergone in the recent past. All these emotional turmoils have worked on her and she is taking them out on Kabir which is totally unfair. He has always indulged her, walked distant miles to make her feel special and has thrown a protective armour around her tackling her adversaries the way only he can. Kabir's sinister avatar with Malvika had me applauding him all the way and his tete a tete with Richa made me fall in love with this charismatic personality. If he was all fire and brimstone with Malvika, he was simplicity and humblesness personified with Richa. But I am completely not convinced about Richa as yet.

Ananya's blind trust in Kabir's past will pass the litmus test in the coming days. The optimistic me thinks she may falter a little but will rise to the occasion like never before. We will surely get to see the emergence of this dormant tantrum throwing emotionally vulnerable girl into the possessive lover who will unflinchingly stand by her man against all odds. So bring it on CVs - we all want to see the Kaya juggernaut rolling in all its glory !!!

Friday's episode was one of the best in a long time!! We did have some nice episodes with great scenes in the recent weeks, but somewhere these episodes failed to appeal at all fronts, something or the other was missing in them. This one was a complete package, with all the right ingredients.

Agreed with it was a good episode very good one and indeed your first post devil one I have been awaiting your analysis.. After almost 3-4 years on India forums..I have few of my favorite writers who I can read any given time n I guess you are one of them now..



I am still debating whether Kabir's scene(s) with Ananya's mom were better or his scene with Richa... Guess, I wouldn't be able to come to a conclusion anytime soon ;), it is a tough choice indeed. The striking similarity is with both these people Kabir was at humble best, there wasn't a single indication of the arrogant man, he was out and out Ananya's BF who has surrendered his self and ego for her. With Mrs. Kashyap, probably it wasn't very surprising because he was talking to someone elder and whose acceptance is vital to the future of their relationship. But with Richa, he was talking to someone who is his junior, not just by age, but by so many other factors, but still he was humbleness personified. And any ordinary BF wouldn't bother so much about the opinion and opposition of a mere friend of his GF, but our Ananya doesn't have an ordinary BF, she has a man who is willing to go any lengths for her happiness and peace. He doesn't want her to lose out on any relationships, whether it is friends or family. A more self centred man would think 'when she has me, what is the big deal in losing out a friend', but not Kabir, here is a man who values every relationship. Is it because he lost out some precious relations in his past? We don't know for sure, but we do think so, we will know in few short weeks, I guess, ;)

This is feel is because the personal loss & loneliness he has been through has made him value the relationships.. I remember in a earlier episode when Anaya manages to win her job back he keep watching her happy face n Malvika question is there anything special abt this gal.. He says the pure unadulterated joy she has.. I had it once too...I guess with success he had to dorm a facade of ruthlessness which is great professionally yet leaves you unsatiated.

The biggest difference between his talk (with Mrs. Kashyap and Richa), while he was equally sensible in both the talks, with Richa he was more logical than with Mrs. Kashyap with whom he was more sentimental. There weren't any promises such as he made with Mrs. Kashyap. He knows Richa is not the kind of person who would get swayed by heart felt words, how much ever genuine they are, she needs hard facts, and that's what he delivered, I would say it was a perfect combination, of logic presented in a perfect order and a heartfelt plea for understanding. As we all know our Ms. Know-it-all is one tough nut to crack, she was cynical almost till the end, even with all the facts, but Kabir did finally manage to shut her up with his geninuity. Does Richa deserve this effort from Kabir, is something debatable ;). I think for Kabir, it is not about what Richa deserves, but all about what Ananya deserves and he wants Annaya to have her childhood friend as a support system. Who are we to question anymore on this, especially when we are served such an amazing scene in the process ;). A teeny bit of cynical side in me questions, does Kabir think that Ananya worsening tantrums in the recent times (her tantrums started after she accidentally spilled the truth to Ronnie and Richa) are a result of the crack in the friendship (Ananya is more irritable with Richa's continuous taunts which makes her more demanding with Kabir) and he wants to mend it for his own sake? Ok, as I said I am too cynical at times and looks for hidden motives where there are none ;).

Coming to the scene, I don't think I have the vocabulary or expertise to analyse it ;). Let me just say, even the cynical me was bowled over by this man's genuinty. Probably it proves I am less cynical than Richa ;)

When I look back at the scene, the relationship Kabir painted is an idealistic one, where Ananya is the perfect supportive GF. Is it really the truth? At least the Ananya I see in the relationship is not the one Kabir portrayed. Kabir's Ananya is a wise and matured one, who handles Kabir's immaturity (??) & insecurities and guide him to be a better person overall, he calls her as his strength, while we (at-least some of us) on the forum are still thinking of her as his weakness. And her advices, the one w.r.t him accepting the stock offer, turned out to be disastrous, the other w.r.t his resignation, I am still not convinced that was the right one, and her continuos preaching about professionalism sound too hollow to me. So, where is this ideal GF Ananya exists? In kabir's imagination? Is Kabir getting carried away by his love and imagining something that doesn't exist? In this relationship, Kabir is the giver so-far, he is the one who considers her problems as his, her family & friends as his and her happiness as his. He is the one who makes adjustments (in action and expectation) most of the times. The Ananya we had seen is loving, but not very understanding, she still doesn't considers his problems as hers, and she still had not made any effort to know either his family or friends. This is the reason we had some many discussions on the forum about the inequality of the relationship. But the Ananya, Kabir described to Richa felt like an entirely different woman.. Made me wonder, is Kabir living in a mirage? And when he comes out of this hallucination and faces the real world and real Ananya, would the relationship not sour because of this mismatch (in his imagination and reality)? I think, what we see in Ananya is what she lets us to see, and what Kabir sees in Ananya is what she is capable of.. He sees beyond the childish tantrum, he sees beyond her obsessive compulsion to live in the present, he sees beyond the carefree attitude.And this is Kabir's Ananya, and I am sure this Ananya would not let him down, she will be there for him when he needs her most. Why I am saying so, because I trust Kabir's instincts whether it is w.r.t Shreya or Ananya,

Kabir I think isn't living a mirage because he has seen Ananya who as per him is a fighter..fight until you win yet she is loyal too she will not sacrifice someone for the alter of ego or professional growth.. So in this relationship which he due to his growth & expericence is the cynical dimag.. Ananya turns dil.. A balance is indeed a perfect combination.. This I have said biz he himself said I don't wanna lose my self by loosing you.

Last but not the least, Kabir considers her as his strength not because of anything she had done, but because what she made him to do, break the walls around his heart and embrace love & life. Her biggest contribution to this love story is making him fall in love with her..


Personally I feel by just letting him be the way he is and not demanding degrading him, she gives him that moral boost which he seeks...until now we have seen her demanding affection & attention that too.
In a playful way... But in challenging situations she has risen to the challenge..
