Character: Sampada
Serial: Kasuati Zindagi Kay Sampada was shown as Anurag Basu's friend from London, who always stood by him. Prerna, Anurag's ex-wife, convinces him to marry Sampada. After her marriage to Anurag, she feels he is more concerned about his ex-wife Prerna than her. She gets insecure and blames Prerna for it. Later, she kills Mr Bajaj, and frames Anurag for the crime. Finally, Prerna and Anurag create a situation where Sampada publicly confesses her crime. Character: Komolika
Serial: Kasuati Zindagi Kay Komolika is a greedy women, who marries Anurag Basu for his money. He eventually divorces her and she later marries his cousin Shubroto and creates tension in the family. Meanwhile, Prerna gives birth to a daughter, Sneha. Anurag at first believes that Sneha is his daughter but a faked DNA report (changed by Komolika) proves otherwise. Komolika then kidnaps Prem, Prerna and Anurag's son) and disappears. The story is now concentrating on the second generation, where Komolika comes back with a 'fake' Prem. She was popular for her different kinds of bindis. Now, she is back with a brand new look.
