Patiently Waiting for Fireworks

Hi everyone,

This is my first post for this show... I felt the need to vent so here I am!

I have been finding myself waiting in anticipation to watch this show everyday since the episode where Mantu had beaten up those goons. That episode to me was executed brilliantly, and I was thinking its going to be very interesting to see how the story would begin to develop, but each and every time I am unfortunately left feeling thwarted. Frankly, it all just seems very dull and boring to me at the moment

I feel like Amaya has completely changed from what she was first shown to be - a loud energetic diva, and even though she was appearing to be spoilt, it was quite entertaining to watch! It seems as if her character has been developed too fast, too soon? She has gone from a young girl who was immature to an extent to a woman who is putting way too much emphasis on a promise which essentially means nothing!
Which leads me to the next aggravating factor for me - I understand that she had made a promise to not display her love towards Mantu so that he could find his own way to her, BUT WHY IS SHE AVOIDING HIM ALTOGETHER?! It isn't making any sense to me! She could still act like a friend towards him and not shun or avoid him altogether...

And Mantu... I get it, this is your first love and everything, but seeing you cry and whine in that way makes me feel quite uncomfortable - that's quite mean of me but I can't help it! I think he should definitely have a chat with Ramashrey the go-getter and get some tips from him in regards to how to woo (or at least to try and woo) the love of your life.

After todays episode, it looks like Amaya/the mathurs have MANY battles to fight on so many fronts - Uma, the stubborn Gajanand Chaubey, Dev, Rudra, Rudra's Amma... give them a break man😆

I hope it all starts getting more interesting very soon! I still have (little) hope that it will sooner or later...

Great post and trust me, you have conveyed everyone's feelings through your post.
The makers have pretty much left us hanging as each and everyday we hope for something better, but at the end we get nothing but disappointment.

I also don't understand ManYa and what they are expecting from each other. They both are completely avoiding each other and are not allowing the opposite person to even be friends. Obviously with that attitude and method, they both aren't getting anywhere. Uma had a problem with Amaya wooing Mantu, but she is no one to tell Amaya to avoid Mantu altogether.

Don't understand why ManYa are allowing Uma to control their lives.

I was fine with Amaya's character development until this week, unfortunately she has lost her bubbly chirpy nature and appears to be the typical dukhiyaari heroine. I also loved Amaya's character sketch in the beginning and when she had been brought to Benaras, her picturization was even more beautiful. My most favorite moments of her character were when the three Mathur sisters handled the thervi fiasco and when Amaya went to the mandir promising God that she would positive about Benaras. It showed how Amaya was trying to accept the changes in her life. The whole Uma-Amaya issue is sheer disappointment.

I still have hope though, nothing is so bad that it cannot be fixed yet so hoping for the best.

Yes I agree with u Amaya represents a stylish diva with a modern approach towards situations but here she has just become a typical abla naari who has become a cry baby so plz in this age where one stands up for their own rights here she has become so weak that she has become depressed with the situations.
Initially I thought TSM was unique coz it focused more on women empowerment but now they r spoiling the theme by adding the unnecessary elements, adding to the fury is GC's perspective of women in society.😡
