He robbed me of so many things.
He robbed me of my name.
He robbed me of my memories.
He robbed me of finding my roots.
He robbed me of my true love.
He robbed me of my sanity.
He robbed me of my dignity.
He robbed me of the pride I took in saying "Main sirf Apne Shauhar ki hoon"
He robbed me of the pleasure I would have taken in returning to the love of my life.
He robbed me of the pride I would have taken in being able to look into my Aahil's eyes without the guilt of betraying him
He robbed me of my choice.
He robbed me of my sister's dead body.
He robbed me of my identity.
He robbed me of my peace of mind.
He robbed me of the feeling I felt for someone I thought was a stranger.
He robbed me of the last Eid I could have celebrated with my love.
He robbed me of the last few moments I could have spent in the arms of my beloved.

All because he lied, and he never manned up to clear that lie.

And, yet, I forgive him so easily and move on with him?

What kind of a person I am , then I question? May be he didn't rob me of anything. May be I was willing to be robbed all along...

Nice post!

Did she forgave him that easily? Is that what happened today? If so, that was kind of expected, even though we had wished that she would be furious.
Alas, she is not our beloved Sanam anymore. She's still jannat who got her memory back. That airheaded woman deserves her fake husband.
Love the last line "What kind of a person I am , then I question? May be he didn't rob me of anything. May be I was willing to be robbed all along..."

Brilliant Mona. This actually sums up Jannat completely. Maybe it was her, cuz she made it all so easy.

Nice post. You're so right. This is the kind of woman they're choosing to show?

This is again one of the many OOC and absurd things this show is choosing to show. I choose to ignore it because never in a million years would the real Sanam do this. It's so OOC and unrealistic that it's not even worth ranting or getting angry about. And it helps that I don't watch the show anymore because why should I when they choose to show this? It would never happen and we all know it and by the show choosing to show this they're basically insulting Sanam/Sahil/KV and the audience's intelligence.

But one thing is clear. Sanam is gone. This is Jannat and has always been Jannat since she lost her memory and she isn't anything llike Sanam. There's no point expecting anything of this woman. She isn't Sanam, Sanam is gone.

The day she floated away to Pak was the end of our real Sanam. I haven't been watching but even with her memory back she's still Jannat. Guess that's what Gul & Co wanted. 🥱

Beautiful post !
In this state of mind, Sanam would want to punish everyone who put her in this guilty state.

" I couldn't give my husband the love he deserved..."

"Therefore I shall punish everyone who wanted to kill me and Aahil... Then I shall close my eyes and go back to him, for I have no further purpose in life."

In my mind I can imagine the crippling guilt Sanam must be wallowing in... but alas it looks cold to watch. Nazia was more effusive in her grief for Bhai Jaan. I dare not hope that we'll see her actually say something about Aahil and their state before he died.

I'm rather discouraged about the moment she and Shaad meet. It's also annoying that he keeps calling her Jannat, when he knows she is Sanam.

Sanam goes around like a Terminator, cold and unemotional. Ironic how Aahil tried hard to behave as Sanam would've, and she does exactly what he never wanted her to do : dirty her hands with blood.

Brilliant post.Thank you, Mona 👏
I'm not watching, but still getting disappointed.
We've been waiting for Sanam for so long & this is what we got.
Agree with all of you, ladies.
Sanam's gone. Aahil died. SAhil was never reunited.
Whether they were at all?!
This is exactly what makers are doing - deleting everything about them.
