It is actually simalar to an old b/w movie 'Anupama'. Where the lead role was played by Sharmila Tagore and hero was Dharmendra. The movie had a famous song -
'Ya dil ki suno duniya walon
ya mujh ko abhi chup rehne do
mein gum ko khushi kaise keh doon
Jo kehte hein unko kehne do'
sung by none other but Hemant da!

wow i havent seen the moive ill go see it now!!!

i hope thats not true and its notlike that movie even though ive never watched it
