Mu: (looking down) nahi! Mai bad Rahul se ekk baar baat karna chahti hu!
Rahul nodded and followed muskaan who went towards the garden. He saw her staring at the moon. He went next to her and looked at the moon, crossing his arms.
Ra: batao! Kya baat karni hai?
Mu: jaante ho kitni jalan hoti hai jab tum kissi dusre ko dhekte ho! Unko khush dhekte ho?
Ra: muskaan main-
Mu: main bohot selfish hu rahul! Darr lagta hai ke dad ke baad kisi aur ko na kho bethu!
Ra: tum kehna kya-
Mu: rahul isse pehle tum mujhse shaadi karo, main tumhe kuch batana chahti hu!
Ra: bolo?
She walked a bit forward from him and closed her eyes. She started to tell him everything. About her past, her betrayed love story. Before muskaan could speak more rahul held her by the shoulders and turned her around.
Ra: muskaan! I don't need any justification! All what matters right now is that humari shaadi horahi hai! And i hope u dont have any problem.!
She nodded her head negatively and hugged him. He was taken back with the sudden hug. She didnt care right now who she was hugging cuz rght now she needed a shoulder to cry on.
NEXT DAY
Armaan had left for office and atul was at home giving the ladies company. Him and armaan were still unaware of the fact that anjali was pregnant. Ananya had told riddhima and nikki to take muskaan shopping beacuse in 1 and a half day would be muskaan and rahul's engagement. She told anjali to write the names on the cards and rahul and armaan will go deliver them.
SHOPPING MALL
It had been 1 hour since the girls entered the mall. Muskaan being a fashion designer was a fashion freak. Even though she wasnt excited for this marriage, she wanted to look perfect on her special days. Riddhima and nikki had been stuck with her in one shop from past one hour.
She was standing infront of the mirror with one orange dupatta on her left shoulder and one red dupatta on her right shoulder.
Ni: di aap red wali lenga choli lo sagai keliye!
Ri; nahi muskaan tum red matt lo kyunke red shaadi pe bhi to pehna hai na? Tum yeh orange saree lo!
Muskaan thought for a while and was making faces. Muskaan and riddhima had their fingers crossed because they were standing in the same shop for past one hour.
Mu: ok main yeh orange wali le leti hu!
Ni: finally!
Ri: shukar hai!
Ni: abh kaha jaana hai?
Mu: next stop Jewellery store!!!
Riddhima and nikki looked at eachother and hoped that this time she doesnt take that long.
They went in the store and the shop keeper showed them beautiful jewelry. Muskaan bought a orange necklace with diamonds around it. Nikki bought a blue necklace and blue and golden jhumke.
Ni: bhabhi aap ruby stone ki jewelry lo!
Ri: (confused) kyu?
Mu; bhabhi bhai ko ruby bohot pasand hai! He says it looks good on women!
Nikki and muskaan brush out laughing seeing riddhima's face. She was having different expressions.
Ri: mujhe kabhi notice nahi kiya lekin dusre women pe kya acha lagta hai yeh unho ne notice kiya?
Hearing riddhima sad nikki and muskaan got serious. Muskaan hugged riddhima side ways and nikki did the same.
Ni: arre nahi bhabhi aisi baat nahi hai! Woh to isilye hum aapko ched rahe thay! Bhai to khete hai ke ruby mom ke ooper suit karta hai!
Mu: aur waise bhi! Now a days bhai is trying sooo hard to be friends with you!!!
Ri: really?
Mu and ni: HAAN!!!!
So riddhima bought the ruby jewelry set. They then proceeded to the saree shop since nikki and riddhima didnt buy any. Nikki chose a light blue chiffon saree with dark blue velvet blouse. Riddhima was having trouble selecting.
Mu: bhabhi aap red colour ki saree lo!
Ri: (confused) kyun red kyuu?
Ni: kyunke red bhaijaan ka favourite colour hai aur agar aap pehnegi to unko acha lagega!
Riddima smiled and the girls bought their sarees.
MALLIK MANSION
The girls came after a long tiring shopping trip and saw atul and anjali were writing the names on the invitation cards. In was not an easy job as it was armaan mallik's sisters's engagement.
Ananya came and hugged the girls looking at their tiring faces.
An: kya hoa thak gayi? Tab kya hoga jab shaadi ki shopping karoge? Hmm?
Ri: arre maa bahar bohot garmi hai!
An: acha shopping to dhikao!
The girls nodded and went and sat with atul and anjali. Ananya also came and sat down. Riddhima took out the clothes and started to show.
Anj: wow ridzi this red saree is so beautiful! Hmm i see pati ka fav colour ki saree!!!
Riddhima warmly smiled and the girls went to muskaan's room to put the stuff away.
ARMAAN OFFICE
Armaan and Rahul were walking in corridor, going to their cabin. They were waiting for Billy and Aman, as they would be working together for a few weeks.
They saw billy and aman coming so they just went into the meeting room.
Soon the meeting started and all the time billy was admiring his son, how professional was he. Meeting ended after 1 hour and everyone left the meeting room except aman, billy, rahul and armaan. Before billy could say something, armaan got a call. It was ananya's.
An: maani beta!
Ar: jee mom?
An: beta kal shaam ko muskaan ki sagai hai main poochna cha rahi thi ki tumein koi aur logon ko to nahi bulana na sagai me? Kyunke cards done ho chuke hai!!!
Ar: nahi mom! Aur muski ne shopping karli sagai keliye!
An: haan beta!!
Ar: acha mom meri meeting finish hogayi hai to main ghar araha hu!!
He ended the call and glanced at billy who's eyes were full of questions.
Bi: kisiki sagai hai?
Ar: aap ko batane ka koi fayda nahi hai leikin phir bhi bata deta hu ke kal muskaan ki sagai hai rahul ke saath!
Bi: (to rahul) congratulations! Hope tum meri beti-
Ar: wait a minute? Aapki beti, what do u mean by ur daughter? Wo aapki beti nahi hai! Wo sirf aur sirf ananya mallik ki beti hai! Do you understand that mr. Billy malik? And all u say is congratz? Wah kya baat hai! Apni beti ki sagai pe u just say congratz? I was expecting that u will give her blessings but i forgot the man standing infornt of me is a total package of betrayal.
Bi: armaan-
Ar: main late horaha hu!
He left the room and rahul followed him.
MALIK MANSION
Riddhima was in her room fixing her wardrobe. Her eyes fell on the saree she bought for the sagaai. She went towards it and placed it on her shoulder. It was the first time she noticed how beautiful she looked in red.
She heard a car's horn and put the things back. She quickly went downstairs and got water for armaan from the kitchen. She came outside the kitchen to see armaan sitting on the sofa tiredly. She went and gave water to him. He looked much tired than before, she thought to ask but brushed away the thought. He then went up to his room to change while riddhima followed him. She entered the room to see him talking off his cost very slowly. He didnt seem okay today, she hesitantly went up to him.
Ri: (hesitant) armaan sab theek to hai?
He stared at her for a few minutes and hugged her immediately. Riddhima was taken back by the sudden hug.
ARMAAN POV
I just felt like hugging her. I dont care if shes not comfortable sharing a hug with me. But i dont care rght now. All i care about right now is that i WANT to hug her!
RIDDHIMA POV
Oh how heavenly it feels to be in his arms. But all of a sudden what happened?
AR POV END
Armaan was hugging riddhma tightly. Riddhima felt two fat tears on her neck. She cane out of the hug to see armaans eyes welled up eith tears. It was not a usaul thing. The usaul armaan she knew was determined, arrogant, workaholic, strong. But right now what she was seeing a broken, sad armaan infront of her. She cupped his face in her hands and wiped hos tears.
Ri: armaan aap - ro kyu rahe hai?
Ar: (whisper-silent cry) im sorry! Im very sorry riddhima!
Ri: (confused) sorry kis baat keliye?
Ar: maine humesha tumhe dukh diya hai! Humesha tumhari aansuon ki waja bana hu! Im very sorry us din begair tumse pooche tumhe bina matlab ke thapad marr diya! Main bohot ghusse mein tha!!
Riddhima just lived how he apologized but she didnt want him to. She loved him alot and couldnt see him break down like this. Even sje got tears in her eyes.
Ri: aap maafi kyu maang rahe haain? Aap ko koi zaroorat nahi hai maafi mangne ki kyunke main kabhi aapse ghussa hoyi hi nahi thi!
Armaan's head shot up listening this and he saw love for him in her eyes which rght now he wasnt able to understand.
Armaan hesitantly held her both hands in his and brought her a little closer. Riddhima felt a little nervous as he pulled her a little closed.
Ar: (hesitant) riddhima...kya tum meri...dost banogi?
There was a sudden silence. Armaan looked at riddhima who was staring at him blankly. When he saw she didnt give any response he slowly started to leave her hands. When she felt the grip of his hands losing on hers, she quickly grabbed his hands, making his head shot up.
Ri: haan...main aapki dost...zaroor bano gi!!
Hearing this armaan smiled warmly and hugged her tightly. After a few minutes he left her and riddhima smiled.
Ri: aap jaake change karlein, maa dinner pe apka wait kari hongi!
Ar: hmm! Phir invites bhi dene jaana hai!
He went to take shower while she hanged his coat and took out his kurta pyjama. She then went to his side table and took his picture in her hands. She brought it closer to her lips and kissed it.
Ri: (mind) aaj main bohot khush hu! At least thodi si to jage bani mere liye aapke dill mein!
Shukar hai aap ne apne dill ke darwaze meri liye thode khole hai! I love u a lot armaan! Aapke begair jeena impossible hai!!
While riddhima put the frame back and went down to the kitchen to help the ladies with dinner, armaan was lost in her thought in the shower.
Ar: (mind) kis mitti (soul) ki bani ho tum? Itna kuch kiya tumhare saath par phir be tumne mujhe itni asaani se maaf kardiya! Mujhe pata hai ke mere dill mein tumhare liye feelings hai aur woh ekk dost se kahi zada hai, im just not sure right now! Main abh bas aapni poori zindagi tumhare saat guzarna chahta hu!!
KITCHEN
Nikki and muskaan were taking out dishes while ananya warm up the food. They had banned anjali from coming into kitchen making atul confuse. Riddhima put the dishes on the dining table and all waited for armaan.
