Playing with her bangles n changing channels in her fm radio she waited for her stop to arrive... how strange it was till yesterday she was just another girl entering the city to complete her studies with only one thing in her mind to study n make her parents proud... n today she was a married women whose studies or certificates weren't even of a little bit of importance to her family.
Lost in thoughts she remembered the events of yesterday night... it was around 11 in the night when she was deep in sleep all cuddled up in her husbands embrace she heard her mobile ringing disturbing her sleep n his too... she quickly turned her phone to silent mode not to wake him up n tried to see with her sleepy eyes who was ringing her so late... the phone started to ring again in her hands... trying to pull her dupatta which was tangled in to him she left it there n attended her call moving to the balcony...

She turned to see her husband all awake looking at her with question mark written all over his face... she silently went back n sat on the corner of the bed holding her head in her palms... After a bit of scilence she explained her situation...

She was too much pre occupied to answer or comfort him smiling weakly she lied down next to him letting her silent tears escape into the pillow while he turned other side n tried to catch some sleep!
Y does it hurt so much when expectations aren't met when u know u are struck... when u want the other person to show their rights on u yet u fail to win their heart...
Next Day morning he picked her basic stuff n a extra pair of clothes for her return journey. .. n dropped her in the bus station even before meera woke up
She was too stunned to react... before she could gather her self to say something the bus conductor called for the passengers as the bus was about to leave...
She badly wanted to say something but the annoying conductor was yelling for no reason before she could make out maan pulled her hand n thust a bunch for money in her hands before turning back n walking away. ..
Now that she is going to her college n hopefully the work would be done in max an hour or two she would be back home by evening...
Reaching her college he wished her professors n juniors before asking for the form n enquiring about the procedure. ..later she came to know that there was some staff meeting going on n the relevant staff person would be back only after lunch...

Having something from the college canteen she waited for more than an hour but of no use even her friends excitement couldn't bring a smile on her face. ..
Something was wrong she could feel it! Every few min she went to check on the desk if the meeting was over excusing her self she walked to the washroom to wash her face n freshen up a bit. .. she was in her college on time... her friends were out side whom she was meeting after nearly a whole month of getting married yet something was bothering her... the tension n restlessness was clear on her face...
N when she was back wiping her face with her dupatta her friends seemed too much exited for some reason... and then she came to know due to the sudden meeting the date has been extended till tomorrow n she has to stay back for a night!!
She didn't knew how to react she wasn't happy with the news for sure...
Just then her MIL rang her...

A tear escaped her eyes to have disappointed her ever so sweet maa... she didn't even know what to do now!!
N maan he couldn't even help his restless heart which was waiting for her to be back ... stopping his jeep at the gates of the bus stop he glanced at the clock which struck 5pm!!
Sometimes it's important to let ur partner know that u are there for them at every stage of life waiting n smiling. .. it's important to hug him n make him feel he was being missed while at work... it's important to tell her u have been waiting for this very moment to be back to her after being away for a whole day...
It might sound silly or over the top but the contentment of belonging to someone is above all reasons n explanation...
Taste of pain isn't similar to the feel of disappointment. .. feel n see maybe you can see the difference
