The houses are indeed perpendicular to each other. Even so, I was also unhappy about this, so I had to remind myself it's a serial not a documentary! I am curious whether the filming sets were always adjoining? Makes me wonder whether plot twists are set a long time in advance and how many decisions are last minute...
