Okay really now CVs? You kept us (or at least me) on tenterhooks for all whole day by stopping at Mantu's "Hum" yesterday just to have him say "jaa rahe hain" today? That was such a tain tain phisss moment after all that build up. I really really want to know what Rudra was thinking throughout this exchange? Sasure ke dimaag mein akhir chal kya raha hai eh? I wish they'd shown what he told his Amma when he got home. Khair..

A drenched and shaken Amaya comes home and Sneha looks at her all worried. When Sneha senses that something might be wrong with Amaya, Amaya stops Rudra from saying anything and he quickly assures Sneha that all is well. Yeh bhi mujhe khatka.. Is Rudra softening towards the Mathurs? Shouldn't he have made use of the opportunity to trouble the Mathurs? If he said guys were teasing Amaya, considering how weirdly over protective Sneha has been behaving with the girls, it would've been a good opportunity to have Sneha stop Amaya from going to work at the extreme or if nothing else give her some more reason to worry and fret. But lagta hai Rudra Bhaiyya is liking this muft ki roti thodna a little too much.

The reason I titled the review so was because it was quite literally an episode of walls crumbling down - physical and emotional ones.

Gajanand Chaubey breaks the wall separating the two houses and embraces his daughter and grand daughters, seeks forgiveness from his daughter's family and accepts his mistakes. He says he isn't Gajanand Chaubey anymore and just Sneha's aging father. It wasn't just the phd oval wall he broke but the wall of his ego as well. Well and good, like I mentioned in yesterday's review, I guess you have to learn to let go at some point. Brownie points to Gajanand ji for letting go. But mind you, if you stand in the way of Mantu's and Amaya's love story, I might take those brownie points right back! You have been warned!

Oh dear Mantu! It was an episode where Mantu's defenses, all those walls he'd built around his heart came crumbling down. The way he cried remembering how Amaya seemed clueless about what he was feeling made me want to go hug him. Here's a virtual hug for you Mantu dear 🤗 Dhruv amazes me with his acting prowess. He wasn't just crying, but looked broken, devastated and the worst of it all.. Oh so lonely.. I am pretty sure, if not everyone, almost everyone who watched the scene would want to go hug him.

Rama Rama Kya hai drama.. You have one less kabab mein haddi to deal with in your love story now that your dad approves of Rachita (just coz she is GC's granddaughter now.. Officially) but you have a line of haddis waiting to ruin your kabab sonny boy.. Including a new sasurji on the block in the form of Dev Agnihotri.. Your Amma might not have a lot of hold to away your decision in bringing Rachita into your life but once she's there, she'll have to deal with your Amma so better keep that in mind.

So Dev finds out that Amaya is Sneha's daughter by sheer random coincidence. Does that mean troubles will increase for Amaya on the office front now? Darn man! Why did Mantu have to leave the office? We could've gotten some amazing ManYa moments if Dev were to start troubling Amaya in office and Mantu were there to support her through it all.

I don't even want to comment on the scene with Uma! There is a limit to being delusional! Seriously! When the show started off I had sympathy for Uma. She was the girl-next-door kind of character who was taken for granted sort of but then friend zoned as soon as the heroine entered the scene. Kind of like the first half of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. So I could overlook all her yelling and screaming and sympathize with her. But now, she is nothing but a scheming, delusional maniac. And I hate it that there is not a single person who can point it out to her so she can mend her ways before it's too late. The way Uma arm twisted her into staying away from Mantu, why did Amaya not do the same to her? Why hasn't Amaya asked Uma to prove her love for Mantu? Surely if Amaya needs to prove her love again and again (like she did with the Shravan Puja and race and all) Uma can prove hers too by setting Mantu free and see if he comes back to her? She won't do it of her own accord since she is way too insecure and selfish and I really wish Amaya had made use of the opportunity.

The precap really really broke my heart. The utter sincerity with which Mantu says that he has fallen in love for the very first time in his life, gosh! It melted my heart into a puddle. Too bad he had to say that in front of the delusional maniac Uma and she was the one to hug him. I was hoping when Mantu tells Uma he loves Amaya, Uma is going to get a much needed shock and she'll mend her ways, to regain at least a semblance of like ability for her character but after watching the BTS temple scene, I don't think hearing it even from Mantu's mouth is going to do her any good. She is going to keep playing games and I'm not looking forward to that. Can we please have Mantu tell Amaya he loves her? Please? And from the BTS it seems that Mantu knows that Amaya loves him too. Please just say it Mantu! I'll put up with all of Uma's games once you tell Amaya that you love her. Please!!

Talking about games, Dev babu is about to up his game too. He has the pieces and the playing field is sort of his too. Let's see how his moves wreck havoc in the Chaubey/Mathur clan.

Character of the day: Mantu -- less than 5 minutes of screen space in the whole episode but he totally stole the show!

Scene of the day: The Chaubey-Mathur union (okay I really wanted to give this one to Mantu too, but in the bigger picture, the scene has more impact on the whole story so..)

Nautanki of the day: I have a feeling this title will permanently belong to Uma as long as she is in the show. Printing marriage cards before you've even asked the person you want to marry if they want to marry you! Taking delusions to new highs (or maybe lows) everyday.

Happiness ki dukaan of the day: Ramashrey Gupta! That silly-in-love smile of his.. Haayeee! Makes me want to pull his cheeks

Let me know what your thoughts are! 😊

Awesome review Neet :)
And the title is extremely apt as well. Today many walls came crumbling down. We didn't really get to see Amaya's reaction to the whole scenario with Mantu, but somewhere she is broken too and doesn't know how to react. Mantu is so heartbroken, for the first time he looks vulnerable like he has lost everything. For the first time he had hoped and dreamed for something, but it was all gone.

Uma needs to get a grip on herself, the day she realizes that she was the only third angle to this story, she is going to be shattered. She isn't at all relatable anymore, what person starts wedding preparations without first asking the person you are going to marry if they want to marry you.

Gajanand Chaubey is becoming a really great character and I am really happy with how this reunion is shaping up. Hopefully he won't cause problems in the other future rishtas of the house and kicks KauDra out soon as well.

Dev is going to target Amaya now and I do not know what to expect, poor Amaya has gone through so much already and her sorrows aren't coming to an end. Hopefully now that Mantu knows that Amaya loves him as per SBS, he will renew his contract and be with Amaya when she needs him to fight against Dev.

Overall the story is getting on the right track now, and the main tracks are opening up. Hopefully everything will turn out well.
