PART- 13
Two months have passed in Mumbai. Taani is now more comfortable in the Singhania House. It is now her house too. Sharon has even talked to her about her past, made her realize that her past was a black episode of her life and she should forget it and look forward. She has even realized that both the brother and sister have not only accepted her with her past yet they took initiative so that her Swayam bhai can bring her to Mumbai. In this one month Sharon has treated her like a sister, she has to some extent changed her dressing style, her thick long hip length hair with the touch of professionals had made her both beautiful and stunning, she now looks just like a diva with a flare of elegance, and her this drop dead gorgeous look makes Rey stare at her with open mouth and without blinking of eyes from where he comes back to the present world with a nudge from either his chottii or best buddy.
Taani's new look:
Taani has even seen love and affection in his eyes for her, she can clearly read it and she has also admitted to her heart that she feels for him, precisely she loves him, the fact that he knowing her past doesn't hate her has soothed her paining heart and it is also one of the major reason she is trying hard to forget her bitter past in every possible way, but she needs time, she needs time to come out of her believes and age old thoughts from the teachings she has been taught from the age of 3, she simple doesn't want to begin her new life with the reminisces of past, she wants a fresh start for herself and specially for him, she wants to respect his love and care.
For Rey, he perfectly understand her unspoken words, her unsaid feelings, her bowed down shy look towards him, yet the blush which adores her cheeks when he complements either her looks or her cooking skills. By now she almost knows all his favourite dishes and Rey feels it amazing to see that every night though the dinner is prepared by kaka but she somehow manages to cook at least one item and surprisingly it is always one among his favourite , her care for him, for Sharon and Swayam, her selfless care to all the members of the family along with the servants makes her more admirable, he knows that if he ask her for a commitment she will never deny but all he wants to let her take the first step, cause somewhere Rey feels she is too young, she is just 18 and he 25, the age gap worries him but he has faith on destiny deep down his heart says they both are just made for each other.
He adores the fact that whenever Sharon tries some new dress on her she agrees but her eyes searches him, as if just a nod of approval from him will make her feel confident, the fact that his wishes his choice matters to her a lot, that she has her ultimate faith on him makes him feel wanted. From a small age Rey has only taken care of his sister, somewhere he too lacks the love care and warmth of a partner and she being so younger than him, and without any particular name of their relation she makes him feel that warmth whenever she is near to him, and Rey's hopes rises that one day they together surely will be a perfect adorable couple and he is ready to wait for that moment, to give her time and before that to make her understand her own self, her potentials.
Coming to the present:
It was 9.30 PM, still Rey has not returned from office and Taani was hell worried. Moreover that day afternoon only Swaron has left for Bangalore urgently for 3 days for some business related issues, before leaving Swayam has informed Rey and Sharon has informed her that Rey will come back early as she will be alone as even kaka has gone to village, she knows that knowing she is alone he will never be late but still he didn't turn up was making her so tensed. It is not that she doesn't have his phone number but the fact is she has directly never called him, neither even interacted him alone after that first night of her arrival in Mumbai, when crying on his chest she slept in his arms on his bed finding solace, protection and warmth. That night he had made her feel so comfortable, has washed off all her thoughts by making her understand that her past doesn't matters to him.
She was alone and was pacing around in the living room, with her mobile (which was again gifted by him as her be-late happy birthday gift) and was constantly looking at the watch, getting totally impatient just when she was about to dial his number, she heard the car honk outside the main gate. Leaving the phone behind she ran to open the door and as soon as she saw him she was ready to bombard him with question but one look at him she felt him looking tiered and exhausted. She was more tensed, taking his laptop and court from his hand she worked inside the house though he protested a bit, who cares? He closed the door and working towards the sofa he sat there spreading his legs and resting his head on the back rest. After about 5 minutes he sat straight and was going to call her for a glass of water but before he could ask she handed him a glass full of water. He took the water in one gulp he was really thirsty. He was staring at her all he thought that she has smoothly started understanding him, his needs even before he speaks.
T- Aap bohot Tiered lag rahe ho?
R-Hmnn.. woh bohot pressure tha kam ka.
T- ha, mujhae laga warna mai akaelii thi and u would have never come late.
R-Daar lag raha tha?
T-Nahii...bilkul nahiii
R-(Smirking) saach?
T-(looking down) thora thora
R-Sorry Taani, I tried my level best but actually aj deal sign hona bohot jaruri tha so...but I have decided something that till Sharon and Swayam returns kal sae afternoon if I see I will get late to come I will send the car, tum office chalii ana, then even I can complete my work and u can see around or rest in the adjoining room of my cabin.
T-hmnn...aap fresh ho jayiyaa mai dinner ready kar deti hu.
(Saying this she started to go, but felt a warm hold on her wrist, she turned back feeling his touch, Rey looked at her, those eyes of hers are something which always reflect her trust on him, even back in Rajasthan also he has seen without knowing anything about him, those eyes used to depict a lot of emotions he was lost in his thought staring at her but then her voice "Kuch cahiyaa" brought him back.
R-Hmnn woh Taani I am going to freshen up, bohot saar dard hai dinner ke pehele can I get a cup of strong black coffee?
She nodded her head and he unwillingly left her soft wrist to let her go, and then moved towards his bedroom, thinking,
" saach mai princess you are making me crazy, one look at your hazel brown orbs I feel so calm and sorted, Love u Princess..Really love you a lot, and I am sure you will admit soon, mere kuch kahanae sae peheleyii you understand what I want, that I am tiered, or for that matter I am thirsty, I know akelee rehena sae tumhae daar lagta hai, and even u get worried when I am late, chotti ne kaha hai ki whenever I am late from office tum kisi ko kuch kahatii nahi ho, but u keep on looking at the watch, kaal sae pakka late nahi karunga and If I get late I will make sure you are with me, tumhae akela rehena nahii dunga bohot cute ho, and I will never neglect you".

After half an hour Taani, entered his bed room with a mug of warm coffee and all he saw made her smile, a cute smile adored her lips, but then he realized he was too tiered, she kept the coffee in the bed side table and sat on his bed near his head, she felt her heart was craving to touch him, to embrace him and caress him, she slowly kept her palms on his forehead and bent down, she had a strong urge to feel his skin on her lips but then she controlled slowly coming down sitting on her knees in the floor she started stroking his forehead and ruffling his hair softly, Rey was in sleep, but still he could feel her, may be his heart felt hers, he smiled in the sleep and adoring his sleeping form her lips curved into a sweet smile, but then after a few minutes of caressing his hair when she felt him stirring in the sleep she tried to get up and go away but before she could do that he woke and was shocked to see her so close till now he was feeling her touch but he felt it as a sweet dream he was about to shout but she kept her palms on his mouth,
both the pair of eyes met and soon they were pulled in the eye lock, they kept on looking at each other in that form until their trance broke with Rey's mobile ringing, she tried moving out but ignoring the call Rey extended his hand and tried to catch her so that she can't run away but it resulted in Taani falling on the bed with her head landing on his chest and her lips just above his heart, her arms on his shoulder, soon Rey left her wrist and held her in his arms, there was silence, being in his chest in his arms and holding her near his chest her lips on his heart they were in a different world living the moment, after about a good long time Rey held her a little more close, he can feel that she was comfortable near him but he knew she was shy and she will feel more shy after this small incident so to make it normal he started a conversation, keeping his palms on her head and caressing her hair.
R-Taani...kya hua, Taani? Get up and look at me. (He held her arms and made her sit properly he too sat beside her and still holding her arms) Aj bohot daar gayii thi na?
Taani nodded looking down "sorry Taani, kal sae I will never be let and will not allow you to stay alone in the evening"
T- Aap sorry maat boliya, aap ko bohot kaam tha so you were late.
R-Fir bhi I should have kept in mind that you are alone.
T-please aab koi baat nahi, aur woh coffee thanda ho gaya, aap abhi taak office ke kapro mai ho so please you change I will bring coffee once again...aap ko saar dard bhi hai, after dinner mai balm laga dungiee.
R-nahii Taani just arrange the dinner I am coming down in 5 minutes.
She started going but his voice made her stop in her track, " Taani kaal sham ak office party hai, clients nai invite kiya hai, so will you come with me?"
T-But mai waha kisi ko jantii bhi nahii
R- Mujhae jantii ho na, so apart from me do you need anyone else to know? Tumhae lagta hai party mai I will leave you alone? So chalogie mere saath?
She nodded her head in approval, smiling a little and left the room.

Next day after noon, she was sitting in her room she has taken out her whole closet, still she was not able to find out a perfect dress, she was missing her bhabhi, in this two months whenever they went out she selects her dress and everything get her ready but this is the first time she is going out that too alone with him in his client's party, she wants everything to be perfect, she don't want to make Rey embarrass in any way neither by her dress nor by her talking's she was really disturbed it was already 4.00 she didn't decide anything and today she was missing Sharon bhabhi a lot. She was still busy in her thoughts she really wanted to look good for him, she was having butterfly feelings in her stomach with even the thought of going out with him alone, accompanying him in his business party the thought was so enchanting, she wanted everything to be perfect, but being unsure she decided to call her bhabhi when the door of her room clicked open, May I come in Taani?' His voice broke her thoughts, she stood up from the floor come na' he came inside and one look at her and then at her surroundings he smirked, she was looking down, he held her wrist, Come with me he took her to his room made her sit on his bed then he sat on his knees in the floor before her, resting his palms on her lap and holding her palms softly,
R- Confuse ho? She nodded Chotti ki help cahiyaa' she once again nodded in positivity. but chotti nahi hai so can I help you?' she looked at him surprised, he smiled and raised his right hand and tucked a strand of hair on the back of her ears, feeling his fingers on the back of her ear a shiver ran down her spine, she closed her eyes in pleasure Rey was noticing her, and her closed eyes a small curve on her lips made him feel good, he saw how his small touches effect her and that too her body accepts it positively. Even he felt the soft texture of her skin on his fingers and it feels so right to touch her, for him it was becoming uncontrollable all he felt was to take her in his arms love her and protect her, but he knew he still needs to give her sometime, her eyes were still closed lingering his finger a bit more behind her ears he slowly took his hand back and looking one last time at her he called her Taani, bataya nahi tumne can I help you?' she nodded in approval, he extended his hand and took out a gift packet and handed to her open it, and see' she opened it and it was an beautiful red dress rather gown.
Dress:
Taani was surprised, rather shocked it was not that she didn't like it, it was really beautiful any girl would have felt honoured to wear such a beautiful designer red gown but what astonished her was the colour, from last 2 months she has started wearing all types of dresses all thanks to her would be bhabhi Sharon but two things she has always avoided one is backless dress, God knows why she refuses strongly wearing backless and the other is the red colour, still she can't accept the colour red, somewhere she feels red is not for her. She was staring at the dress,
R-Kya hua Taani, pasand nahii ayaa?
T-Bohot beautiful hai, but
R-But kya Taani?
T-its colour
R- Red, so?
Holding the dress near her heart she was looking down and was extremely quiet, slowly Rey took the dress from her hand and kept it on the bed, holding her chin he made her look into his eyes and there he saw the crystal droplets brimming, he immediately cupped her face and with his thumb rubbed the tears before it could even fall, but then what she did was not he expected holding his shirt in her soft clutch she pressed herself on his chest and broke down, in an instance he held her waist and pulled her more near in his arms she was sobbing he let her do, and kept on coaxing her back slowly, after few minutes he departed her from the hug, and holding her shoulder he made her look into his eyes and then said "Taani tum bohot beautiful ho, in this last two months you have learnt speaking English, tumne apne aap ko bohot badla hai, Sharon has constantly trained you, and I allowed you to change because it was for your good, but agar mujhae lagta in all these you are losing your identity I would have stopped Sharon, cause mai kabhi nahi cahunga ki you change your individuality. So whatever you wear you will look descent pretty and elegant, I have no doubt in it.
Now coming to the colour RED, Taani kya tumhara past matters to you more than my wishes? (Looking straight in her eyes, lowering his voice) Kya late Veer Shekhawat ka tag is all which matters to you, ( she felt broken she never thought her not wearing red colour will affect him so badly) Taani you have the freedom to wear anything, but yes, all I want to see is you dressed in red - the colour of love and passion, ( he turned back to go away but then stopped) RED is my favourite colour. Agae tumharii marjii...(Saying so he left the room.)
