Urvashi returns to TV as an alien:

Known for wreaking havoc with her histrionics in the protagonist's life, TV's popular vamp Urvashi Dholakia will repeat the mean act, albeit in a funnily wicked avatar as an alien, in her latest endeavour. She will be seen as Sumeet Raghvan's saas in the TV show 'Badi Dooor Se Aaye Hai'. Urvashi's latest role as a mother-in-law will showcase her in various avatars as she is an alien. "The first question that crossed my mind was how I would play Sumeet's saas?" shares the actress, candidly adding, "But then, the makers told me that she is an alien. It's an interesting character, who creates a ruckus in her son-in-law's life as she does not like him. I play a wicked saas in a funny way. I am attempting comedy in a fiction show after a long time."

Last seen in 'Dil Se Di Dua... Saubhagyavati Bhava', she is returning to where she belongs after a gap of three years. Ask her what took her so long and she replies, "I was busy being a full-time mother at home. When you have slogged non-stop for so many years, taking a break and waking up at 2 pm feels great. I must have rejected at least 16 offers as nothing excited me. I want to take up shows that tickle my bone."
