Part 95

Time of Geet's pregnancy was passing smoothly .. She was not much cranky due to it.. But sometimes made weird demand of unusual combinations of food...Sometimes she needed spicy food but when it was served she was not ready to eat as it's smell was not making her feel good so she demanded plain rice with some pickles mixed with coke..

and Maan was like-What? Geet this is not at all healthy food to be eaten..

Geet-Maan who wants healthy food.. I need tasty food

Maan-Geet...You find this combination tasty?

Geet showed him her teeth-Yes .. I like it very much. ,,it's yummy ..You just try this.. I m sure you too will like it..

Maan-Nooo. Tum khaao .. After all it's you who is pregnant,... Not me..hai na.. so you eat this..

And Ram and Priya were enjoying his condition very well..Poor Maan ..He was trying so hard to avoid himself from eating Geet's fav foods these days..

He did not want to hurt her by saying that those food was not at all tasty ..after all those were her favorites these days..

Maan did not have any problem with her food habits as he was ever ready to do anything to keep her happy.. He did not want her to stay hungry ..so he was fulfilling her every wish..

But there was something which was the matter of worry for Maan..

Geet often used to forget that she was pregnant..and sometime she started to move fast as she was getting late to get ready for FH.. and in that effort she used to trip in the edge of carpet, so he had to be very vigilant for her..

he sometime asked her in his stern voice to take care of herself.. She immediately realized her mistakes and said sorry to him.. but next day she again used to forget sometimes .

.

she used to run on the stairs to reach down for the BF.. everyone had to advise her to go slow .. Geet tried her best still she sometimes used to forget..

Geet was going to complete her fourth month of pregnancy..She was carrying two babies so her bump was quite visible..

One Day..

All were having breakfast..

Geet today was feeling better as she was not feeling the food smelling bad so she was helping Priya and Meena ..Sameer was crawling near them as Meena was busy in kitchen and Suresh was in some other work.. Geet's face was toward the stair case and she could see sameer crawling there.. Till now he never tried to climb the stairs so his parents were assured that he would crawl there only.. Sameer was not a child who liked to stay alone so Priya asked Meena to bring him with her.. He was a good time pass for her in the absence of the family..ah he was a kid and made her amused by his acts..

While eating Geet's eyes went on the stairs and her eyes got wider with fear... She got up shouting SAMEEERRR and ran towards the stairs.. all looked at Geet why she shouted and then saw her running.. all looked in to the direction.. Sameer had climbed three stairs and now in the effort of coming down he was half hung on two stairs.. He was trying to got down and in that effort he was going to fall.. Geet ran towards him and picked up in her arms.. She saved sameer but all present there felt their breath stopped seeing her running .. everyone came near Geet and Sameer. Meena took sameer in her arms from geet... She was so scared she hugged him tight ..

Her eyes were little wet thinking about her son..

Priya-Geet..are you fine?

Geet nodded and looked at Maan.. He came near her and said with little anger

Maan-Geet what were you doing?.

Geet-.. wo Sameer was hanging on the stairs .. he was going to fall.. I came to hold him

Maan-But why did you need to run.?. Couldn't you tell us?..any one of us could catch him..

Geet realized -I m really sorry.. Wo I was scared so I just ran to save him..

Maan - and what is you had fallen while running? Geet why don't you take care of yourself? Agar tumhen kuchh ho jata to?

Geet lowered her eyes realizing her mistake..Maan wanted to say something else but Ram stopped him

Ram-Maan..calm down . She is fine..

Geet-Maan..Please ..I m sorry..

Priya-Maan . wo sorry bol rahi hai na..Now don't scare her with your big eyes..

Maan looked at Geet's puppy face.. She once again said sorry to him with pleading eyes

Ram-Maan ..ab bas bhi karo yaar..Even I m getting scared to see your big eyes.bechaari Geet ka kya haal hoga..

And Maan rolled his eyes seeing the drama...His anger were down now But he was really worried for Geet.She was careless about herself. She could take care of all but not of herself .But right now everyone was favoring his wife so there was no use of his anger on her .. He shook his head .He himself could not be angry on her.

Ram- Geet come..beta we are getting late..

Geet with her low head moved out of the house with Ram and Maan..

Geet on the way whispered- Maan aap ab bhi gussa ho?

Maan-Geet.. why are you so careless about yourself?

Geet-I saw Sameer there on the stairs and I got scared so I ran.. completely forgot.. Please don't be angry for that..

And she literally held her ears for her fault

Maan -Hmm it's ok .. and he gave a smile to her-But try to be careful

He did not want her to feel sad for the whole day..and Geet too smiled back seeing him smiled.

They reached office and Maan once again instructed Geet to be careful.. and he left from there

And Geet really worked with caution.. At lunch she was in Ram's office and she found Maan fine.. He was looking normal and Maan too found Geet ok.. Now days lunch was a very funny time pass for Ram as Maan always was pestering Geet to eat healthy food and Geet as usual was irritated with hi s healthy food chants..

Geet-Maan.. what is the use of this so called healthy food when I m not feeling to even put it in my mouth? App baar baar ek hi baat bolte ho.. Maa has kept me the mango pickle and rice for me.. I will eat that .. and she opened a box and started to eat that..

Maan tried to say but the way she was eating her rice and pickles ..He did not felt to stop her .. For him at least she was eating..and was not going to stay hungry.. After Lunch Maan and Ram had a meeting to be attend together so they both left for the office of client..

It was evening.. FH was little crowded today and the staff was busy with customers.. Even Pinki and Rohit too were busy handling few regular customers.. And Geet was attending her elite client.. That client was little moody so pinki and Rohit always avoided to attend her.. So today also Geet was attending her... She was here to pick her dresses and she needed to take the trial.. Geet waited for someone to come and bring the dresses from the upper shelf ..

But everyone was busy and the client was in a little hurry.. geet looked up on the shelf and she thought to take the dresses herself..

She climbed on the metal ladder to take the dresses but her day was not good today..As she was standing on the ladder he heard a loud voice of Maan-Geeettt..

and Geet shuddered and she turned to see but stumbled her foot in the ladder and was about to fall but before that Maan was there with the lightning speed and he held her in his arms..

.. He held her protectively and after few moment he looked at her; He was feeling his heart in his throat seeing her falling. For a moment without caring for anyone he pulled her in to him to feel that she was safe but next moment he thought what she was doing and his eyes were pouring the anger on her..

Geet looked at him and knew that he was angry on her.. She did not know what to do..Maan put her on the ground and left from there without saying a word..

Everyone was looking at her .. She gave a nervous smile to her client and asked her to take the trial... No body could understand what happened there.. Because Maan left from there without uttering a word so no one knew that he was angry.. after some time the client was satisfied and she left from there with her stuff, .. Pinki and Ronit had sensed that something was wrong ..

Pinki-Maan sir seemed angry.. What happened Geet?

Geet- Kuchh nahin..I.. I don't know .. How can I? he has just returned from his meeting so may be he is tired.. you carry on and try to wrap up the work soon..

Soon Rohit and Pinki wrapped up the work and FH was closed and Geet reached up stairs.. Maan was with Ram.. She reached there and sat aside quietly.. Maan shot angry glares at her but did not say anything..

Ram-Geet.. Just few moment we too are done with our work..Then we will leave..Do you need anything? Juice aur some thing to eat.. Geet looked at Maan and shook her head in to a no..She was sitting there quietly

Maan looked at her sitting silently.. and thought -Good this girl knows how to sit quietly ..but did not say a word to Geet..

After few minutes Maan and Ram were done with the work which was related with the meeting which they attended today..

In car also Maan was not talking to her.. She did not have any courage to talk to him.. so she too was sitting with her mouth shut..

They reached home but Maan was still not talking to her..He straight went to his room to get a change Geet too followed him.. he went t the washroom and Geet took out his dress to wear and waited for him..

He came out and Geet forwarded hid clothes toward him and he without talking to her almost snatched his cloth.. Geet looked at him .. and left from there .. She knew that she was on the fault..and his anger was not wrong..she reached down and said to Priya-Maa Today I will make coffee.. Maan came down and sat..get brought coffee .. Maan looked at her then called Meena-Meena I want tea today .. make for me..

Meena -Ji bhaiya..

Geet looked at him with a puppy face but Maan just gave a look to her and then looked somewhere else..

Maan-If you need tea then take mine .. I will make another one..

Maan without looking at her-No you take your's ..Meena is bringing for me.. and Geet with a sad face sat there and sipped her tea..

Ram did not know that something had happened at KC between them..He saw them talking during the lunch time so did not think much...

Geet was sitting there silent which was not usual for priya

Priya-Geet what happened? Why are you so silent.. Kuchh hua hai kya..

Geet-No maa nothing happened,..

Priya-Feeling tired? Go and take some rest..

Geet-Nahin.. I m fine ..

Priya-Ok..

Maan and Ram were still busy in the talks about their meeting and Geet and priya were sitting together.. priya wa stalking to ngeet but Geet was replying her with minimal..

After some time Meena told them that dinner was ready...

At the dining table

All were having dinner .. But geet was literally playing with the food..

Priya-Geet have your dinner.. why you are playing with it.. Want to eat something else?..

And Geet shook her head,.. She was not able to eat as Maan was angry on her for the first time like this,...He was not talking to her..and this was a big matter for her.. but she knew that she only was wrong and his anger were reasonable too..

Maan asked for some dish and Geet passed it towards him but he asked Priya to pass the other dish and priya without noticing the difference between them passed the dish which maan asked her.. For her they left happily for the office in the morning and all was well between them..

Geet was really sad now and she excused herself saying that she was feeling tired and was not feeling hungry.. It was quite natural in this condition so Priya asked her to take rest..Geet gave a look to him and left.. Maan became restless now,, She did not have food.. and he knew why. He wanted to stop her but priya asked him to let her go..

Maan-But maa she did not have her food..

Priya-No problem Maan she will have when she feel hungry..You don't worry..

Now it was tough for Maan to have his food but somehow he finished his food in his plate as he did not want to give his parents any hint that something happened between them..and left from there..

Maan reached their room and looked for Geet But she was not there .. He thought her to be in washroom but there wasn't any movement in the washroom/.. he turned the knob of the washroom and it opened..

Geet was it there also.. Now Maan was panicked.-Where is Geet? Maine bahut jyada gussa dikha diya kya. O God.. He combed his hair with his fingers feeling worried for Geet-Maan what did you do? Itna gussa dikhaane ki kya zaroorat thi.. wo bechaari kitna darr gayi thi..She was trying to talk to you but you did not care .. but what could I do.. She is so careless.. she should take care of herself..She is not a kid

and again he thought -Maan stop thinking right now.. search Geet first .. Where she can go?

He came out of the room and searched here and there but she was nowhere to be seen and Then his eyes fell on the door of the stairs of the terrace- .Can she go up on the terrace?..
