Bollywood actresses and the musical chairs that they play for lead roles, we tell you.

So Parineeti Chopra had come close to playing the female lead opposite Salman Khan in Sultan. Or that's what she thought until Kriti Sanon swooped in and became the frontrunner in this race. The latest on the Sultan front is that Kriti is not going to rub shoulders with the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star. Yep, you read that right.

When asked about the Yash Raj film at an event today, the Heropanti actress point-blank said, "No, I'm not doing the film!"

With this, Kriti may have made it easier for the Hasee Toh Phasee actress to finally clinch the deal. But Pari fans, don't pop the champagne cork yet.

A source close to the development of the film told 9xe.com that while Pari is still in the running, YRF is also considering a fresh face for the female lead. So is it going to be Pari or a newcomer? Let's wait and watch.
