Points to ponder!

while i was thinking of ekta serials they all have two things in common that is they are female oriented and second there is always hate nok jhonk first and then love!

..and then i was thinking why all her shows are so delicious in the beginning but drag towards the middle and end!..and here i am talking about majority!..in order to sustain a serial fresh tracks with interesting subject are needed in keeping with the consistency of the character!

in jodha akbar the character assassination and too much negativity was a major let down!..for me a man who is dominant..intelligent..shrewd..brave..courageous.. and far sighted has much more sex appeal than a yes maam majnu avatar!..in every serial of ekta in the beginning her hero possesses all those qualities but as soon as he falls in love the qualities vanish and he becomes a different character that we cannot relate to again character inconsistency big time!..a male becomes less attractive and the female gets all the focus with sbs saga..but the saga lingers on for a while then gets boring if the show is a love saga from the beginning!

people watched the show because of akhda love story but eventually the fate of the show was just like ekta's other shows..akabr bana abla purush in majnu avatar lost his sex appeal and many romantic at heart like me lost interest as well..as a man who cries at a drop of a hat does not appeal me..and the female becomes the savior of the hero at every step which makes the hero even weaker..instead of showing equality an imbalance is created which is neither appealing nor worth watching!

ekta knows that her shows s*ck towards the end then i think isn't it time to change them a bit..first of all not make them completely female oriented and secondly do not kill the strong characterization of male which is the basics of sex appeal and romance that should happen between a man and a woman as a man is a man and a woman is a woman any one trying to replace the other will be against nature and the ending of JA is one such example which is leaving a nauseated feeling in the stomach on seeing the sad demise of larger than life character!..anyhow, share your views how ekta should sustain the interest of the viewers till the end..since she is the drama queen of television😉

lavi a very good point will revert back in detail later and that is what i am saying that character inconsistency is a major drawback in her serials esp male characterization, they are shown clueless without women! i too see how men live in the society..ladies are queen of the house and all decisions related to children and house hold items is in women's hands as she can do it better than a men but outdoor decisions are mainly taken by men as they are best at it..which creates a balance but in JA both inner and outer decisions are taken by jodha and akbar is left dying at the end..and very true she should not touch a historical again and there should be a governing agency in place that screens such projects and some laws in place regarding safe guarding sentiments of people when historical figure are touched!

a lesson to learn for her is

also the last part of the show is taken from the last part of indu's second book on taj trilogy where noor saves salim from being a captive and then declares a war and enters the enemy compass in disguise..but here the twist is that jodha begum the cocktail of 9 gems will disguise as sholay ki basanti..! in indu's book salim dies soon after noor saves him and here too jalal will die soon after jodha saves him..in reality there was nothing much to say about jodha as not much is written about her unlike noor..but here to bring her up they added all kinds of obnoxious tracks at the cost of killing akbar's characterization halfway through the serial!
