The Himalaya Darpan newspaper, which started the campaign for Prashant, has declared it will give him a motorcycle on his return home.

I am a Prashant fan and, I am very happy that he is getting all this support... I am hoping Amit is also getting similar support from his state too. But, I am against people spending so much money for the SMS... in this case both the fans are loosing so much money for what(II title)??? Govt. of India should come up with some kind of regulation on these kind of votings. TV shows should have some sort of toll free numbers set up so that people don't have to pay for the SMS(I don't know what the cost for each SMS is... can someone on this forum let us know)? This amount of money could have been spent in some other good cause e.g. supporting the under privilage kids education. I do support all these TV shows but, why take away money from the people just on the name of voting for a game show??? In American Idol toll free numbers are set up so people don't have to pay for the voting.
Since, II is copy right product of American Idol or even the British Idol(SIMON as the producer), it should follow the same concept on the voting side also... I am hoping that II will also do some charity work like American Idol with all the money they make from this one show.
