Hi all,
Just watched JDJ Saturdays episode. Here is my review:
First of all, I didn't like the potty humor that the show started with. Fast forwarded that part.
Secondly, I dint catch the name of the guy they were promoting. Did they announce his name? The one with beard, who kept showing in coming up segment, while mauja hi mauja was playing. Well some of us don't know these celebrities by face or even name...they need to introduce them, and connect them to their work. Like I guessed this guy had something to do with mauja hi mauja song...is he the singer???
Moving on...
It was a good episode overall. I liked many things...but
I didn't like Radhikas dance a lot this time. If you remember, I thought her first performance was excellent and the second was very good too. But this one, I agree with Laurene...you don't do Tango, with this expression...either call it something else ...or do a TANGO. So a major miss. I also don't tkink that Radhika's legs looked good in this dance...Tango needs very very leggy women...Radhika is pretty ...but she doesn't have Tango legs...This one didn't work for me.
I think Mohit was excellent once again!! His body posture, the way he does his steps...all is so much like a skillful dancer. I have to say, I am really impressed with him as a performer and his choreographer to get this out of him. And the judges put their marks where there mouth is this time. Well done!!š
The most impressive dance was Vivian's!! What an improvement!! The prop was difficult and he was confident and smooth on it. Overall performance was very impressive. Vivian has this romantic hero kind of presence...that made his act special. LOVED IT!,āļø
To my surprise Ashsih did very well too! The guy has a good personality. He talks with ease and has a good stage persona. Although I have seen Vaishali as a dancer before, and liked her work...I think the new choreographer is getting Ashsih out of his shell. He looked comfortable dancing and performing with acting bit. Very very entertaining. Hope to see more of him!!
Scarlett did an item number...with all the expressions. It is creditable...but looked like any other item number. The problem with Scarlett is that even though she is a fantastic dancer...there is no emotional connection with the audience. I don't think she will go very far.
Overall, quite entertaining! Manish, shahid bit this time was not as good as previous shows...but the backstage clips were good to watch...
Not surprised with Deepika's elimination. As talented the lady is in other areas...her dances were not clicking...so a good elimination...
