"I didn't mean it that way ! believe me.." he said exasperated...

After the movie they both were standing outside PVR with Arohi's arms crossed over chest n nose red in anger..

"acha..! so what u meant by this Arohi is so good ?" she looked at him shooting daggers from eyes..

Arjun gave a resigned sigh.."I was just trying to tease u.."

"trying to tease u...my foot !" she stomped on his feet n walked away from him..

"With all the stomping on my foot u do..u r gonna break it for sure one day" he said wincing in pain..

"its good na..then u can go to ur good Arohi n ask her to bandage it" she turned n rested her hands on her sides...

He rolled his eyes n moved closer to her..she crossed her arms again n looked away angrily..

Arjun smiled n leaned near her ear.."that Arohi was good but mine is much better.." he whispered huskily in ear making shivers run down her spine..

"how much better?" she looked at him pouting..

Arjun chuckled seeing her cute pout..he pulled her closer by waist..."beyond comparison.." n he dropped a quick kiss on her nose..

Arohi stared in his magical brown eyes n she was lost..

"My Arohi..back to earth" he said tenderly n stepped back from her n crossing his arm stood smirking...

Arohi shook her head n flushed embarrassingly..now he is going to give her hard time on this..she looked at that irritating arrogant smile on his face..

"Arjun wipe that smug smile of urs rite now..otherwise the date is over..!" she threatened him..

Arjun had a heartily laugh...Arohi looked him angrily..

"the date is not over until I say so..understand My Arohi.." he said huskily with the same smug smile..he knows his which action has exactly what reaction on her..and Arjun Singhania play his cards perfectly...

It took only one tear drop to change his smug to frown..he worriedly looked at her as streamof tears flowed from her eyes..

"Aa..arohi.." he started tensed but was cut off by her..

"I knew it..I so knew it..u don't like me..!" she walked away from him n sat on the chair at side

"what do u mean by that?" he stood in front of her n ran his hands through his hair frantically.."I do like you.." he knelt in front of her..

" acha..okay ! if u like me then we will go in Italian restaurant for lunch not Chinese.." she said weeping..

Arjun stared her strangely..they had already decided that if movie will be of Arohi's choice then food will be of his choice..she wept loudly making him give in..

"okay ! okay ! we will go for Italian.." he nodded his head frantically..

"n u will stay at one hand distance from Natasha.." she hiccupped..

"yes yes I will keep one hand distance from Natasha..now u stop crying baba" he pleaded..

"n u won't give me that smug smile of urs.." she said staring at him inteionally..

"no I won't give u my smug smile.." he said desperately..

"okay fine.." she wiped her cheeks n stood up.." now take me to bowling alley" she grinned..

"Arohi" he said angrily as he realized what she did here..Arohi bit her bottom lip..

"yes Arjun" she batted her eyelashes but it didn't affected the angry look on his face..

"u think it's funny Arohi.." he said furiously looking at her.."let me be clear..I don't like such pranks.."

"Ar..rjun" she was shaken by fury in his eyes.."I..I didn't mean to an..angry u" she stuttered..n this time real tears pricked her eyes but before they can run down Arjun's laughter echoed around..

"m also not bad actor..Miss Nautanqi.." he wiped the tears threatening to come out of her eyes..

"I hate to admit but u did scared me.." she hugged him keeping her head on his chest..

"I didn't know u r so rotlu.." he mocked wrapping his arms around her...

"m not used to people getting angry on me so when anyone does it freaks me out" she sniffed..

"I promise I will never be angry on u again.." he dropped kiss in her hair..."now come on let's take u for bowling" he pulled away from her..

Arjun Arohi reached bowling alley..as it was still afternoon so very few people were there..Arjun quickly got their card recharged n held the ball out for her..

Arohi stared at him n then at ball..

"I want blue one..not this brown.." she pouted..

Arjun shook his head n picked the blue ball n again held it out for her..

"I don't know bowling teach me.." she shrugged her shoulders...

Arjun stared at her shocked.." then why u wanted to come here..?"

"bcz I know u love bowling n I want to learn it from u.." she grinned..

"arghh..Ms Nautanqi actually considering my choice...when did I got so lucky?" he said dramatically earning a smack from her..

"shut up n now teach me !' she ordered..

Arjun chuckled n in one swift motion pulled her towards him..he stared in her eyes holding her gaze..he turned her making her back collide with his chest..he slipped his hand around her waist making butterflies flutter in her stomach..her uneven breathing was proof of how much his closeness was affecting her..he made her hold the ball n bend both of them instructing her on how to release the ball.. Arohi was having hard time with his one hand wrapped around her possessively..his hot breath falling on her neck n his husky voice..it was all making her shiver..she slightly turned to look at his face whether he was sailing on same boat or not...he too turned his face in her direction..his face stern but his eyes betrayed him telling her that..yes he was also in same boat...they both stood there gazing at each other...his eyes boring deep in her eyes..if she calls his eyes magical then he doesn't what her eyes are..their lips were inches..no one knows who reduced the distance between them..the instant their lips met everything else was long forgotten..the ball went off the board way as Arjun used his other hand to pull her closer..the kiss was not short but enough to numb their senses..

Romit shook Arjun to get him out of his thoughts..Arjun looked at him startled..

Romit: what !! where are u lost..? he asked with a knowing look..

Arjun stood up from couch abruptly.."I don't feel like watching movie..m going to sleep ! goodnight.." he went inside his room..

Jai looked at Romit: do u think it will work...?

Romit: I bet it won't take more than a week...he smirked..till then as a friend we need to keep pushing them until they find their ways back to each other..

Arohi stood in front of mirror getting ready for college..she glanced at herself n she didn't even liked a bitwhat she saw..she was wearing the clothes she brought yesterday..it was a beautiful turquoise dress reaching just below her knees..but she was not liking it bcz it was not chosen by him..

"God ! she was not supposed to feel this terrible after break up.." she thought frustrated n took out one of her old dress to wear..

Here Arjun came out from his room after taking shower..he was only wearing trousers..he moved to the kitchen n took out vegetables from fridge and started chopping them..he was planning to make pasta..

Romit came inside: umm..Arjun what are u doing?

Arjun: cooking for Arohi..! u know na how much she hates food served in our canteen..he said casually..

Romit cleared his throat: Arjun u r forgetting u guys broke up yesterday morning...or Saturday night..he added making unsure face..

Arjun's hands stopped as the reality struck..it's been like his daily duty to cook for her everyday for last 2 years..he has passion for cooking n Arohi just loves his food...she doesn't like the food in their canteen so he used to ready dabba for her every morning..

Arjun coughed: u guys will eat? He asked..

Romit nodded: sure..can I help?

Arjun: no I will manage...just wake Jai up..he said concentrating on chopping vegetables..

After half an hour the pasta was ready..he kept it on table n left for getting ready for college..

He came out in 10 minutes changing n carrying his bag..

Jai n Romit both stared at him..Arjun gave them "what" look...

Jai: it's just one day n u look miserable..look at ur dressing brother..seriously !

Arjun: shut up ! n eat ur food..he said glaring at them..well fine he is miserable but not everyone needs to know about it...

It was lunch time..

Arohi was in canteen with Shefali..she looked at the canteen food laying in front of her..it will be after 2 years she will eat this tasteless food..she was still sulking about food when the waiter came n gave her lunch box..she looked at him confused n then at lunch box...it was the one Arjun used to bring..she saw a note stuck on it..

"I don't want u to die of hunger.. :p

Arohi looked around to find him standing close to canteen's entrance..she smiled at him which he returned..she mouthed thank u to him..he bowed accepting her thank u n gestured her to eat..

Arjun turned to leave to collide in Natasha..Natasha gave him a wicked smile..

"I heard u broke up with Arohi.." she made patterns on his chest with her finger..

Arjun held her hand n pushed her a little away from him..

"now that u r single...so may I have my chance with u.." she inclined her face to side..

"Ms. Natasha Mittal..get this straight in ur head..Single doesn't mean Available...I will be always off limits for u.." he pushed her to side n left from there..

Shefali: tonight ask her more about memories..okay ! she instructed Rashi..

Rashi nodded obediently..they were not going to give up on them..they will force them to find their back to each other..

Arohi came out from her room wearing loose shirt n PJ's...

Rashi: Di...I was waiting for u..she grinned and forced Arohi to sit beside her..she held her hand..now tell me further..

Arohi sighed: not again Rashi..

Rashi: di u promised..plz ! she pleaded like a school girl..

Shefali: come on she is being curious..tell her na..she encouraged her..

Arohi: what u want to know more?

Rashi: who said I Love You first? U or him?

Arohi: me! She said blushing...

Rashi: oh wow ! how? U also did something special? She asked dreamily..

Arjun n Arohi were out on highway for a long drive on his bike...they saw a tea stall on roadside..as it was December time so there was a chill in air..they stopped there..

Arjun's phone rang n he went on side to pick it..

Arohi was standing alone looking here n there when her eyes fell on keyhole to find bike keys in there..from weeks she was pestering Arjun to teach her how to ride bike but he always ignored the topic..she glanced at Arjun who was engrossed in call..it was her chance..she quickly hopped on bike..she knows scooty so bike also she will manage..she started the bike..as soon as the bike started Arjun looked at her side..she shrieked in excitement n rode way..Arjun shouted behind her but she just went on..she had hardly made few metres when she lost the balance n crashed down fortunately on off-side..the bike fell little ahead her..

Arjun ran towards her n helped her in sitting..he sat in front of her n started scolding her..

"are u mad Arohi!! What the hell u were thinking when u started bike.." he yelled at her..Arohi burst out crying loudly..

"its all ur stupid bike's fault..here I have got so many wounds n u r scolding me instead of scolding it.." she whimpered.."u r getting angry over all the scratches on ur bike..don't worry I will ask Dad he will get u a new one.." she said crying vigorously..

Arjun shook his head.." exactly...I can get a new bike but I can't get a new u...what if instead of falling at left u have fallen at right side straight in the middle of road n some vehicle would have come..?" she stared him with her big black eyes silently..he tenderly rubbed the dirt off her cheek.."then what I would have done? From where I would have brought other u? u know na u are the only "sanki" piece made by god..."

He cupped her cheek n wiping her tears slowly kissed her..he pulled back n smiled lovingly..but she burst out crying again making him frown..

"what happened now ? why are u crying? "

"bcz I love you idiot.." she snapped n threw herself in his arms sobbing..

Arjun smiled widely n hugged her back..she winced as his hand rubbed her elbow accidently..he pulled back.."come on now..let's take u to hospital" he stood up n helped her in getting up..

"excuse me...don't I get to hear words?" she said looking him intentionally..

Arjun smugged..he gave the same arrogant smile which she love n hate at same time..

"Payback time !" he grinned.."if u want hear me saying the words back to u..then u have to do something special..something out of ur character..Ms. Nautanqi" he winked n went to start bike leaving her dumbfounded..

Rashi rolled on couch laughing..."that was epic...tit for tat"

Arohi glared her..."shut up otherwise I won't tell u what I did to make him confess"

Rashi: okay okay..! continue..he suppressed her laughter..

It was usual Friday Night...Arjun was watching news on TV..he was little sad bcz Arohi was not coming over...Shefali had high fever so she couldn't come leaving her alone...he called her but she didn't pick up..a message popped on his screen saying she will call back in few minutes..

He stood up from couch n headed to kitchen looking around something to eat..just then doorbell rang n he went to open the door thinking who could it be at such an hour..

He opened the door but found no one there..he was about to close the door when his eyes fell on box placed at his doorstep..it was packed fancily n an envelope was laying on it..he picked it up looking around to see someone..he closed the door n picked the envelope...he took ou the note n smiled seeing it was Arohi's handwriting..

He read the note..

I LOVE YOU

Ur Arohi..

See me at ur rooftop now ( "

Arjun grinned ear to ear reading her note...he opened the box to find a black business suit..he quickly changed his clothes n spiking his hair ran to rooftop..

The whole roof was illuminated by candles..a small table was set in corner decorated with flowers..he looked around to see Arohi...from somewhere a romantic music started playing..his eyes were still desperately finding the person behind all this when he felt two soft arms slipping on his chest from behind..she pressed her cheek on his back..

"liked it...?" she whispered..

He kept his hands on hers.."loved it..!" he smiled n turned around to get his breath hitched..drapped in netted black sari she was looking epitome of beauty..he had never seen her wearing anything Indian..it was for first time he was seeing her like this n he was at loss of breath...his mouth stayed hanging open as he took in her full appearance..

Arohi flushed seeing his reaction...she was burning under his gaze..she stepped a little towards him n closed his mouth bringing him back to reality..

"back to earth.." she mimicked his arrogant smile..

Arjun pulled her in his arms.." u look enchanting.." he dropped a kiss on her neck making her moan as he pressed her bare skin on waist..he leaned forward ready to claim her lips..

"Arjun" she pulled herself before losing completely in him.."the food will get cold..come with me" she ordered him n moved towards table..

"the food can wait...I want my kiss now" he groaned making her chuckle..

"Mr. Arjun Singhania...get ur ass here right now...I have not cooked this food by myself to see it getting spoiled.."

In the next moment Arjun was beside her..he gulped down.."u have cooked the food.." fear evident in his voice..

Arohi stared him angrily biting her tongue to resist laughing seeing his face..anyone will freak out listening it..she is terrible in cooking..

"oh god...m hurt seeing ur reaction " she fakely pouted...

"no no Arohi...that's so sweet of u..m just surprised.." he said covering up..

Arohi laughed..."I know okay..n just for ur information..I haven't cooked it all...I have only baked cake for u.." she grinned n removed the lid from cake..

A heart shaped chocolate cake was lying in middle of table with Arjun n Arohi written on it with strawberry icing..

Arjun looked at her appreciatively...cooking was something really out of her character...

Arohi handed him knife n asked to cut the cake...he loved the jingling sound her bangles were making every time she moved her hands..

He held his hand in his as they both cut the cake but wait..the cake was not getting cut..Arohi's smile slipped from her face..Arjun looked at her enthusiastically n applied a little more force but it still didn't budge..what had she mixed in it.."steel"? he wondered but dared not say the wordsseeing her ready to cry face..she left his hand n sat on chair hiding her face in hands..soon her whole body was shaking with her sobs..

Arjun sighed n sat in front of her...he tried to push her hands away but she protested..after a lot of struggling he finally pushed her hands away n cupped her both cheeks..

"it happens baby..! no need to cry.." he said soothingly...

"Romit Jai n Shefali helped me in all this...cake was only I baked on my own..but its terrible.." she whimpered...

Arjun looked at her helplessly.."it was ur first time Jaan..! u know I had burned the oven at my first time.."

"really?" she asked still sobbing..

Arjun nodded n wiped her cheeks..."I love u too..." he said after a tiny pause..

"even after I failed to impress u" she pouted..

Arjun laughed..."u don't need to impress me..bcz u already possess me.."

"say it again.." she demanded..

"I love you too..." he leaned over her on chair n kissed her hungrily...

Arohi was in tears by now..she quickly wiped her tears as she heard Rashi's dreamy sigh..she smiled at her n quickly went inside her room..

Arjun was in basketball court next day playing clumsily...he was not even able to score single basket...the coach blew whistle n ordered him to sit out..he went n sat on bench cursing himself..

Mikhel came there with his friends..

"tsk! tsk! poor boy..heard about ur breakup with Arohi..felt really bad" he said showing fake sadness..

Arjun rolled his eyes n ignored him..how much his hands were itching to punch him hard..

"oh looks like she has already found someone.." he said pointing somewhere..

Arjun looked to see in the direction to find Arohi with one of her classmate Danish...they both were going in direction of library...Arjun fisted his hands..Danish had a crush on Arohi from start n now seeing him with her probably trying to replace "him" was hurtful..

"she is quite fast...isn't it?" he hear Mikhel's mocking voice..

Arjun stood up..."I so wish I could kill u.." he left from there seething in anger...it was all due to Mikhel that forced them to come on decision of breakup..

He had known Mikhel from high school..that jerk was always jealous of him n finding ways to hurt him...however he never succeeded...but now he had figured out a way to hurt him...he knew he has short temper...he will provoke him by saying bad about Arohi making him indulge in fight...n then somehow always managing to come out clean making Arjun look wrong...then it was Arohi who always had to plead in front of officials or had to find some other way to save him from consequences...

It was all getting too messed up...seeing her break into tears n sideline her ego every time just to save him was all too suffocating for him...instead of being the reason behind her smile he was the reason behind her tears...this thing was makng him feel guilty..n the guilt was swallowing him..they had their fights..their arguments over it n conclusion of which was.."breakup"

He misses her...everything about her...her ordering him around..her Nataunqi..her stomping on his foot..everytime he walks in corridor he hope that she will pop out from somewhere pushing him to side wall n after stealing a quick kiss from him will run for her class..he sighed !

He didn't want to let go of her but he had to..he was becoming bad for her...he couldn't sit back n wait for the day when she would break till point where she would hate him..he had to protect her from himself...

Arohi was laying on her bed staring at ceiling...she was lost in her thoughts...

"what do u mean it will be different with me?" Arohi came out in living room from his bedroom shouting at him..

They both were in his room playing video game when Arjun told her about first n only sex experience...not in detail but the fact that he is not virgin..

"it will be different with u bcz first time when I did it was out of curiosity...but with u it's love sweetheart.." he argued trying to make his point..

"curiosity...my foot" she stomped on his foot n sat on couch switching on TV...

"I should have...m just terrible" he said remorsefully n stretched his legs making her comfortable on his lap...

"yeah..but we can work on it n make u less terrible.." she giggled..

"but u know m quite glad u r thinking about u n me in erotic scenarios..." he smirked nuzzling her neck..

She flushed red and hid herself in crook of his neck.."

Tears rolled down her cheeks..she miss him..she miss his touch...his sweet nothings..damn his smug smile..! the memories of moment when she surrendered herself to him are still fresh in her mind..it was 4 months after the confession...he never pressured her..he waited till she was ready n when she finally gave herself to him..he was so caring and loving...he made sure she was fine and sure of what she was doing...n when inevitable pain shot through her body he held her firmly in his embrace trying to ease her pain..she felt nothing but cherished n his...

But she had to let go of him...she was affecting him in worst ways...the daily fights he was getting indulged in with Mikhel due to her were affecting his career..his basketball captaincy...he was becoming a spoilt brat in teacher's eyes...she was becoming his weakness...n she hated it..n she didn't wanted him to hate her too...so she had to breakup with him...

3 days passed with zero improvement..Although it killed them but still they both were still firm on their decision..

Arjun was sitting in front of his laptop filling the form for University in States..his hands were shaking but he has to do it..he stood up from his bed n moved to wardrobe as he needed some information to fill in from his documents..he opened his wardrobe n sighed longingly seeing Arohi's stuff still at it's place...when will Romit n Jai move out her stuff...he thought saddened..he picked up his folder when a book fell down...it was Arohi's favorite Sherlock Holmes novel..

Arohi was sitting on chair folding her legs engrossed in novel...she didn't noticed when he came inside...he had gone to drop Romit airport as he was visiting his family..she only sensed his presence only when he traced her arms with his fingers sensuously..

"Arjun..not now...m reading" she slapped his hand away...

"Ditch the novel n come on bed.." he whispered huskily..

"I want to complete it soon..only few chapters are left..don's distract me n let me read.." she fought back with her urge of giving in his demand...

"yes" she again dug herself in novel...

"workout...I missed in morning..so now" he smiled n started doing pushups in front of her..

Arohi nodded n started reading but it was too hard for her to concentrate with such a disturbing sight of him...

Arjun smirked seeng her uneasiness..he stood up sweating..he picked the bottle n drank water from it making some fall on his chest..Arohi was looking at him from rim of book..

Arjun moved to washroom picking towel..he stood at door n found her staring at him..

"wanna join?" he asked raising his brow...

It was the invitation she needed..she closed the book keeping it on table...she looked at Arjun n extended her arm gesturing to pick her up..

He kept the book back in his wardrobe and closed it... he knew what he has to do..he was determined n now nothing can stop him not even her...his phone beeped due to some reminder he had set few months back...his lips graced his trademark smug smile.."this is perfect.." he thought..

Arohi was sitting in her room..both Shefali n Rashi were out as it was Friday night..she would also have been out only if...but now she is here in her small boring dark room eating ice-cream n moping...she thought stuffing her mouth with ice-cream...

Arjun reached outside her hostel..he saw window of her room was closed..he dialed her number but her phone was switched off...he looked around n found a pebble..he threw it on the window making it hit the windowsill...he waited for some reaction but he got nothing so he picked few more pebbles n threw over there again...n then he saw lights getting turned on n a seemingly fuming Arohi opened the window...

She was shocked to see him standing there..for a minute she thought she was hallucinating..she shook her head few times to make sure she wasn't...

She mouthed him "what" to which he demanded her to come down..

She sighed n closing the window came down to him wearing her tweety PJ's n pink tank top...her eyes were red telling him what she was doing in room..

"why are u here?" she asked him standing in front...sniffing due to cold she had caught by eating ice-cream...

"I want u to come with me.." he offered his hand to her..

Arohi looked at him n then at his hand..she kept looking at him...

"plz..Arohi fast ! we don't have much time.." he said in urgency..

Arohi came out of her trance n kept her hand in his letting him take wherever he wanted...

He took her to the bridge park nearby her hostel..they used to come here often...this place brough million memories to both of them..Arjun stole a glance of her n she was lost in herself..

"why are we here?" she asked after some silent minutes...they stopped once they reached in the middle of bridge..her voice raspy due to sore throat..

"I can't do it anymore..." he said staring in her eyes.."I don't want to spend my whole life thinking how it would have been if u were beside me..I was foolish to let my brain rule over my heart when I broke up with u...I have become more terrible without u...I need u to fix me..." he held her both hands in his..

"but what about being bad for each other.." she said controlling her tears n sniffing..

"Its was all wrong...we are nothing but perfect for each other..." he caressed her cheek tenderly..

"even after when I have gained weight eating chocolates n ice-creams" she asked biting her lower lip..

Arjun chuckled..."u look chubby n chubby equals to cute.."

"last few days were hell without u.." she said letting her tears flow...

"I am getting back to u just bcz the awsm food u cook...not even for a moment think that I missed u n especially this smug smile of urs.." she sniffed...

He laughed...only she can make him laugh like that.."I so knew it.." she stomped his foot smiling through her tears.."ow!! U r never going to stop doing it" he winced...

"now u m back..u have to deal with it.." she said in her orderly voice..

Arohi pulled him closer.."I saw u with Natasha outside canteen that day..tell me u didn't do anything dirty with her"

"are u still going to States..?" she questioned..

Arohi kept her finger on his lips as he moved closer..."I have cold.."

"won't it be cute if u n I both will be sneezing..." he winked n meshed their lips together kissing desperately..making up for all the days they were not able to devour each other...

They both pulled out being out of breath..

"Arohi.." he breathed heavily.."u know why I brought u here?"

Arohi opened her eyes n looked him questioningly..

"u forget about tonight...but I had reminder set on my phone.." he extended his arm gesturing her to watch in the sky...

She followed the direction n watched a sky full of stars n a crescent moon...but the next moment she gasped as a string of light flashed..and soon the whole sky was filled with flashes..it was meteor shower tonight..about which she had told him 2 months ago..

"it's beautiful..." her eyes twinkled as she held him tighter..

"yes.." he whispered looking at her..she stared at him..n yes..yet again she was lost in those magical brown eyes...
