BB was superb too n since its a SK film the profit margin will be much more compared to big budget film like Bahubali

But bahubali is played in XD screens, where the capacity is probably more than that of normal screens. Also it released in telugu mostly the first week of its release if am not wrong, limiting the movie to only telugu known ppl unless some ppl r really excited to watch it ignoring the language. So that might be one of the reasons why the prices were high, besides that every telugu movie with a topstar/director is always priced at +$20.

Baahubali have limited scope and reach as far as language is concerned where as bajrangi have wider scope as that will appeal not only NRI but also desi from pak , bangla etc. So i think on the basis of niche market and language constraint its ticket price might be high compare to hindi movies in US etc.

i think someone said the producers were confident of baahubali and tats y they clashed with BB

but actually baahubali release date is getting postponed from may, it changed lot of times because of post production rajmouli was not even ready to give a date but its kjo who was adamant with july 10th since its best bet in north or else there is severe competition after that ...i think he never expected baahubali to do this well in hindi

i am so proud that baahubali is holding really well despite BB in north ...cant wait for 2nd part
the collections of this kind were in south but the numbers from north is more amazing
