If you are middle aged woman or older you are bound to have known about or seen this happen in a few families.đ€ Women like Shanti Devi are drama queens who go the full yard to dominate the family. They pamper their married daughters and use the lower social status as an excuse to demand the son/bahu indulge the daughter's every whim.
There are more women like Sarla in this world, as hard as it is to believe. No wonder she's got a lying, cheating, thief for a son who doesn't feel an ounce of shame to admit openly that he stole his own mother's jewelry. At this rate he's going to get beat up badly one of these days, karma catching up with him. A daughter who's always at her mother's house with little respect for her husband or her own home rarely lives a happy life. đ
Bua Dadi mentioned knowing a Shanti Devi. Imagine the chaos when the two oldies come face to face. đBua Dadi is no push over. Hopefully she will put Sarla and Shanti Devi in their place at the wedding. đ
Kausalya has a good heartđ. She's a typical bahu of her generation. More than anything a woman wants her husband to stand by her in her hour of need. Today Kaushalya felt let down by her husbandđ. They share a loving relationship but for a woman who bends over backwards to keep the peace in the family and bear a lot of insults, taunts and put downs, this one broke her.
She is always giving and with a smile even if she doesn't agree with Shanti Devi aka Sashikala. But even she has her limits and today she reached the limit. Shanti Devi took the saree Shivam had bought her with his first pay check and he was disappointed his mother gave into Shanti Devi's bullying tactics to take her special gifts away from her. Now the haar! But her haar will end up around her bahu's neckđ after all.
For all their plotting Sarla and Shanti Devi will have to see the "haar" go to Shivam's bride after all. Serves them right!
Raghav had already said the bahu should be treated like a daughter in the house. So if Riya stands up to Shanti Devi he's be in a bind.đ Maybe the "haar incident" will give Raghav food for thought about his mother and sister's manipulations of his family.

1. Shanti Devi - why she's financially supporting Sarla when her husband, son (doubt he really has a job, he's a full fledged loser, liar, thief who shamelessly encouraging his mother to leech off her mother) and daughter Parineeta who's got her hooks into a rich dude for now.
2. Sarla -why she's always taking food from Kaushalya đinstead of cooking for her own family. đ
3. Raghav - how he can expect his wife to sacrifice so much for his mother and sister who take undue advantage of her
4. Riya tell Shanti Devi she won't give her entire paycheck to her. As a couple she and Shivam will handle their finances for their future.đđ
What would you like to question when she comes into the Srivastav family?đ
About time someone knock Shanti Devi off her throne, expose her drama and put a stop to it. đđŒ
Like it or not, such people DO EXIST in the real world. This show is shedding light on it, hope they also show Riya/Shivam standing up and changing the old ways of unfair Dadi domination in the household.
