The actress, who completed her graduation from Maitreyi College and got selected for Miss India while she was in college before her career in South Indian films, told us. "I came to Delhi from Shimla because you don't get the kind of growth and exposure you get in Delhi anywhere else. In Delhi, admissions are difficult. It was quite a challenge to get into DU. I scored around 93% in my Class XII Boards, but that wasn't enough to get me into SRCC, so I picked the best out of whatever options I had and got my Bachelors degree in commerce. I also got an advance diploma in French, besides attending regular college," she said.
Speaking about her college days, she added, "As a student here, I used to go to Khan market very often. The mall in Saket was a favourite hangout. I also love the yummy tandoori momos you get in Delhi," she recalled.
