~CHAPTER 20~
I know who can give me answers .I know who can solve all this mystery. There is only one man who can answer all his questions and that is my father.My father can answer all his questions,can answer all my questions.The time has come to know the truth.The time has come to know who is behind all these.I just wish that Manik get all his answers today.He is completely broken from inside.But he is trying to be strong for his friends,us,me and most importantly for himself.
He knows he can't be weak at this time.He needs to be strong for everyone.Finally we reached our destination i.e. my home.The ride to home was silent.Neither Manik had spoken anything nor me.We were engrossed in our own thoughts.He didn't speak a word through out the journey but I know that Silence is the most powerful scream. Manik got down from the car and stood observing the home.I held his hand and gave him a smile of assurance and made our way towards the door.
I rang the bell and my mom opened the door.As soon as she saw me and Manik she gasped.She exclaimed "Manik !!".Her eyes welled up with tears.She slowly raised her hand and caressed Manik's hair and face gently.Manik closed his eyes feeling the warmth of a motherly hands after a long time.My mom planted a kiss on his forehead.She wiped her tears and took him inside.This is unfair.Manik came and my mom had completely forgotten me.
Dad came and saw us.He smiled seeing us.The way he smiled is different.He came and hugged Manik and then me.We all sat in the couch.My mom went to get some snacks.I asked my dad "why are you smiling like that " He smiled again and asked, "Like what ?" I said,"Like some thing different.Am not able to understand the reason behind your smile."He said ,"You are here for some answers .I know this day will come."
Manik who was quietly listening our conversation has finally spoken."Uncle !! Can you say what happened to my parents ? My dad replied,"Beta ! I don't know what happened to your parents but I know one thing that they didn't die in a car crash.They were killed by some people."Manik asked,"Who killed them ? Do you have any idea about it ?"Dad replied,"No beta !! I don't know who killed your parents.Am sorry about that !!
"Dad !! Why did we shift from that place that night ! You said when the time time come I will say.I guess the time came dad!!"I asked.My dad smiled and nodded his head.He narrated what happened on that day !!
"Your dad and I were working in the office .He got a call and he told me to go as he is also leaving early that day !!! He left before I can ask any further questions.I too left and I came back home.That night when I was working from home ,I got a call from your dad saying to come out and meet him in XYZ place .He told me to come alone.So I went and waited for him.After some time your parents came and they were in a hurry.Pain.tensions,worries were written on their face.
Arnav and Khushi came to me and Arnav gave me a file saying give this to my son when he will come to you for his answers .From today he is the CEO of Malhotra Industries.Just tell him that we love him very much.Khushi bhabhi said tell him to be strong and tell him that we will be watching him every now and then.Arnav said don't ask us any questions now.Thank you for being a good friend.Arnav told me to leave this place tonight.He just told to leave it and not to ask any questions.
I told you have my word .I will give this to Manik when he will come to me.We both hugged and he left with khushi.That day they both died."
I felt like it was the last hug and last talk.Indeed it was a last hug and last talk.I didn't ask him any questions because I knew whatever he does,he does with a great thinking.Manik asks ,"Where is the file ? WHat is there in it ?My dad says "I don't know what is there in it because I was not able to understand.I guess only one person can understand it."My dad gives the file to Manik and Manik opens it and there some papers and everything is messed up.Nothing is in clear way,everything is scrambled.
Manik asks ,"What is this ?".My dad says."Your father was working on something that time.That research can turn Malhotra Industries to NO.1 position.But it was stopped in middle.I guess these are the research papers.I don't have any idea about it.Maybe Arnav's PA must be having an idea about it."Manik asks,"Who was his PA ?My dad says,"Aman Mathur"Manik asks,"Where can I found him ?"
My dad says,"You need to find that."Manik says,"Thank you so much uncle.You have helped me alot.Thanks alot."My dad says,"I didn't do anything Manik !! It is you who is doing.Am sorry for not being with you in the most crucial time of yours."Manik says,"You have your reasons uncle and it was dad's decision.So it's ok."Manik and dad smiled and hugged each other.My mom ame with snacks.We had some family time.
Manik and I left after some time.Manik called his PA and asked him to find out about Aman Mathur as soon as he can.We reached hospital and saw everyone .Manik asked Cabir about Navya's condition.He said "she is in coma "Manik hugged him.Mukti and I saw them with tears welled up in our eyes.I saw up and said "Where are you AMAN MATHUR?"
